If you're getting some crafting in before the end of the break & are looking for a quick project then here's a little tutorial on how to make an Easter basket.
I've used the new Spring digis papers to make these cute treat baskets. I printed my papers onto white card from The Range & I was really impressed with the print quality.
Step 1: Cut your card into a 12cm square.
Step 2: Score lines at 4cm intervals creating 9 squares.
Step 3: Cut along the score line only as far as the middle square. Do the same on the opposite side.
Step 4: Cut a strip of card to act as your basket handle. You will now have a square with 3 flaps at opposite sides and length of coordinating card.
Step 5: Take the flaps on one side & cross the end flaps over each other to reach a point in the middle.
Step 6: Hold the flaps firmly together and using a picky tool pierce a hole through all three layers of card.
Step 7: Take your length of card & place behind your flaps, pierce another hole and then secure in place using a brad.
Step 8: Repeat actions 5-7 on the opposite side an voila your Easter basket is complete. All you need to do now is decorate it, which is the really fun bit!! Check out how I decorated mine below...
Happy Easter everyone!
