I just had to make a card this week that would capture the feeling! So I took out my <a href="https://timeforteadesigns.co.uk/products/you-got-mail-clear-stamp-set?_pos=4&_sid=0f360cb11&_ss=r" target="_blank">You got mail stampset</a> and decided I'd make a little garden scene. After stamping the cute critters and mailbox, I colored them using my Copic alcohol markers and cut them out with the help of the <a href="https://timeforteadesigns.co.uk/products/you-got-mail-coordinating-die-set?_pos=1&_sid=0f360cb11&_ss=r" target="_blank">coordinating die set</a>.</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">The <a href="https://timeforteadesigns.co.uk/products/6x6-scene-builder-stencil?_pos=2&_sid=ff7b18622&_ss=r" target="_blank">6x6 Scene Builder Stencil</a> has the perfect edges to create a garden scene. Using the <a href="https://timeforteadesigns.co.uk/products/simple-nesting-dies-a6?_pos=3&_sid=3beaa5f7f&_ss=r" target="_blank">Simple nesting dies A6</a> I die-cut a panel from white cardstock as a background. I took the grass edge of the stencil and 2 colors of Distress oxide (twisted citron and mowed lawn) and stenciled 2 layers of grass at the bottom of the panel. After that I used the sky edge of the stencil and made several cloud lines to form a sky with Distress oxide (tumbled glass). </span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGJei4_VkXFCWlCmmS5KY_G18wZpUqKqrU8rkJTeNQfuDciNUPncUc_ptTADZtE35H4ur6By7oysisYswIGbXRKMnOllL60ovAHV_dHEI1tRKwfAnpVe1HjvaA0xtuqjb2VLEqVMD7S17-bg0A0_eiD7Mc3pbKILDnnaPFo4mDyoFlelI7bLqz8BZnmRTJ/s2580/207796370.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2580" data-original-width="2580" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGJei4_VkXFCWlCmmS5KY_G18wZpUqKqrU8rkJTeNQfuDciNUPncUc_ptTADZtE35H4ur6By7oysisYswIGbXRKMnOllL60ovAHV_dHEI1tRKwfAnpVe1HjvaA0xtuqjb2VLEqVMD7S17-bg0A0_eiD7Mc3pbKILDnnaPFo4mDyoFlelI7bLqz8BZnmRTJ/s320/207796370.jpg" width="320" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana;"><div><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div>I splattered some paint onto this background and waited until it dried. Again, using the simple nesting dies I die-cut another panel, one size up, from teal cardstock. Adhered the garden background onto the teal panel with tape, and adhered the teal panel on top of an A6 white folded card. </span><div><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-family: verdana;">Time to add my colored stamped images! To coffee that is.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana;">I love having coffee together with friends and family which led me to making this next card for T4T. Sending out a card for birthdays, christmas or valentine's is quite common, I say we should add sending out invites to have a coffee together to that list. Time for <strike>Coffee</strike> Tea has the perfect goodies for that! </span></p><p><span style="font-family: verdana;">First I gathered some colored cardstock to find a nice color combination. I decided on blue and orange/brown and die-cut the cups from the <a href="https://timeforteadesigns.co.uk/products/takeout-coffee-cup-dies?_pos=1&_sid=1545d83be&_ss=r" target="_blank">Takeout Coffee Cup Dies</a> set. To create a little depth on the cups, I chose a darker shade of Distress Oxide (uncharted mariner and crackling campfire) and used those to emphasize the sides of the cups. I left the sleeves untouched as I wanted those to pop off the cups and have the smiley faces, which I made using small ovals and circles from basic die-cut sets, really stand out. After I added the smiley faces I adhered the sleeves to the cups using plain glue. </span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguozuxDtvGr_NATUL7ms4yvzAY-NbzlsBNG75I3GJ1kZV76Ui66oB84bxyAChC07OlzbEWGtFWHygfhabrnFvx5-zyy4Kldf8dyX1zPZAsFZhpS-PC_e4BB53E4gfYxcywa2a0XVNIIq7irHn6g9nhJwujg_SHj1wrer2IubzLN04o6PBJvNARIv1pg1mU/s2992/25692574.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2992" data-original-width="2992" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguozuxDtvGr_NATUL7ms4yvzAY-NbzlsBNG75I3GJ1kZV76Ui66oB84bxyAChC07OlzbEWGtFWHygfhabrnFvx5-zyy4Kldf8dyX1zPZAsFZhpS-PC_e4BB53E4gfYxcywa2a0XVNIIq7irHn6g9nhJwujg_SHj1wrer2IubzLN04o6PBJvNARIv1pg1mU/s320/25692574.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: verdana;">I used a cotton swab and Tea Dye Distress Oxide to make the foam look more realistic. The top of the cups are adhered using 1mm foam tape, again to create some depth. I also added a chocolate heart from the Takeout Coffee Cup set using brown cardstock. </span><span style="font-family: verdana;">A bold sentiment was needed in my opinion, so I grabbed the </span><a href="https://timeforteadesigns.co.uk/products/hey-hello-hi-dies?_pos=1&_sid=2f0129f4e&_ss=r" style="font-family: verdana;" target="_blank">Hey, Hello, Hi Dies</a><span style="font-family: verdana;"> and used white and black cardstock for big contrast. </span><p></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjIgsWzgydeRvO7BaNLmgo2nIrJ2sFn9DokTO4oA0kaRMBEzpf6Eaj2r0uOaE9fkvnZ0pGdFuIkBK_Ns0YRxe7niHzMuc43lwwZTGwJBIEGXFv0dFCFw5aUvljY7nnsVS6SJbOIMtCb55HPNkLwP4IQyNwwQvgSol1Rx6Pnkdwz80dGZfhG5ZN2RNfGjOO/s2992/87451233.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2992" data-original-width="2992" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjIgsWzgydeRvO7BaNLmgo2nIrJ2sFn9DokTO4oA0kaRMBEzpf6Eaj2r0uOaE9fkvnZ0pGdFuIkBK_Ns0YRxe7niHzMuc43lwwZTGwJBIEGXFv0dFCFw5aUvljY7nnsVS6SJbOIMtCb55HPNkLwP4IQyNwwQvgSol1Rx6Pnkdwz80dGZfhG5ZN2RNfGjOO/s320/87451233.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana;">Using the <a href="https://timeforteadesigns.co.uk/products/simple-nesting-dies-a6?_pos=3&_sid=04efc4bb5&_ss=r" target="_blank">Simple Nesting Dies A6</a>, I die-cut a panel from white cardstock and used Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxides to create an ombre background. I used the sweet cart critters clear stamp set together with some cute critters from the movie night clear stamp set. These are actually the digistamps so I took my coloring paper to the office, printed them when my colleagues weren't looking 😉 and after returning home I cut them out using my Scan 'n cut machine. Using digistamps was a first for me, and I do like how they turned out! </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioyMtzM8qvXqZzC20tj5T_hBsWOqFrkBamrW60NHp0onRBOcOC_uz4h4UYSViLLNLbjz79NjOS-EKeH7O6vbrqPEu15b-BD9TYRpab-iOni_UuEonV5Rvm4bPNA22E089H9JJ-oGRO8xrAsg2uwSwKJvtTeN9Mmox3YbgivSBpX3cQV4VKZj4xwgws9SCC/s2992/93070303.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2992" data-original-width="2992" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioyMtzM8qvXqZzC20tj5T_hBsWOqFrkBamrW60NHp0onRBOcOC_uz4h4UYSViLLNLbjz79NjOS-EKeH7O6vbrqPEu15b-BD9TYRpab-iOni_UuEonV5Rvm4bPNA22E089H9JJ-oGRO8xrAsg2uwSwKJvtTeN9Mmox3YbgivSBpX3cQV4VKZj4xwgws9SCC/s320/93070303.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">I wanted to use natural colors for the critters and only use two bright colors for the cups and sweets on this card. So I chose browns and greys and I love combining these tones with pink and blue. After I had finished the coloring it was time for me to start making the background.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">Using my die cut machine, I cut an A6 panel and a window cover frame from white cardstock. The colors used are spun sugar and kitsch flamingo.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaQXKmGo4NljrzPSf-pKZbCSeeuf1mkVHRehvdXGbHh27RA6s_3lyFAPgNf-KrglWy4iSZ28feV7kB1lkTXZGJwOw3NSZUHXDZ9lMmlfi2WpJfEoahSBmGRTz0s-7FPbf9l2BXZS4juxEzS0FMVjtu-Wne7gO0GDLVcVXHehkYPUgkxUc8QR4lU53gL0z3/s2992/192468278.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2992" data-original-width="2992" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaQXKmGo4NljrzPSf-pKZbCSeeuf1mkVHRehvdXGbHh27RA6s_3lyFAPgNf-KrglWy4iSZ28feV7kB1lkTXZGJwOw3NSZUHXDZ9lMmlfi2WpJfEoahSBmGRTz0s-7FPbf9l2BXZS4juxEzS0FMVjtu-Wne7gO0GDLVcVXHehkYPUgkxUc8QR4lU53gL0z3/s320/192468278.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: verdana;">Now all I needed was a sentiment!
