Hello Tea Timers!
Michelle from the Design Team here and today I'm rolling in with the coolest little birthday card and I do mean cool! This one is packed with fun summery details and the most adorable characters, all centred around everyone's favourite thing: ice cream!
Supplies used:
I started by creating a tone on tone light blue patterned background using the ice lolly and sun stamps. It sets the perfect sunny day scene without competing with all the colourful elements going on across the card. It gives everything that breezy, feel-good summer vibe right from the start.
The main stars of the show are two Polaroid-style photos - one featuring a sweet little bunny enjoying an ice cream cone, and another with the most adorable grey cat holding up a lolly with bunting. I scattered colourful ice lollies around the layout to fill the space and keep things fun and lively. Taking centre stage at the bottom is a teal ice cream truck loaded up with cones and a giant pink ice cream on the roof really makes the whole scene come to life.
To finish everything off, I added the "here's the SCOOP! it's your birthday" sentiment on a soft mint banner, which sits perfectly across the middle of the card. The mix of playful bunting and all those pastel shades really pulls the whole design together into one big scoop of birthday happiness!
This card is an absolute treat for any birthday, guaranteed to make someone smile from ear to ear.
