Lovin' the New Release! Let's Party!

Hey there, Tea Timers!!  It's Amanda here with a very versatile card using some products from the New Release!  I am just loving all these new cute critters, aren't you?!

For this celebration card, I used the new Birthday Fox Stamps and Dies!
I created a frame using the new Simple Square Nesting Dies.  I love that there are SOOO many dies in this set!  You could create frames, shaker frames, multiple layers, tiny squares, and so much more!
For my back layer, I ink blended Catherine Pooler's Catching Rays.  And then I added a small amount of Limoncello in the center of my front layer.

I cut out the new Let's Party Large Sentiment Die and added some white highlights to it.  Then, I adhered all the elements to my card base.
Here are a few more photos of the finished card!

That is it for me today, friends!  Thank you so much for stopping by the Time for Tea Designs blog today!  Don't forget to order your new crafty supplies from the New Release!

Gummy bear party!

Hey there Tea-timer friends...

It's DT Ashlee here, have you seen the brand new release at Time for tea designs?! It is all so fun, I couldn't wait to get crafty with it!

Bring on a gummy bear party....

To create this card I started with a piece of white card stock that I die cut using the stars cover die. I then made it into a shaker card using lot of fun embellishments backed with pink card stock!

I then added a large Let's party sentiment that I die cut from black card stock to the base. Once that was adhered I stamped a bunch of images from the Gummy bear set and coloured them in using Spectrum noir tri-blend markers.

I die cut all the images before adhering them using foam tape and completing the card by adding white pen highlights!

SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE it's a GUMMY BEAR party!

I hope you like my new shaker card, and if you haven't yet I recommend stopping by the T4T store and checking out the new release because it's super fab!

Happy crafting, hugs Ashlee.

Up, Up & Away

Hi crafty friends,

It's DT Miri here with another card project to share with you all. Today I will be using the Up, Up & Away stamp set for this quick, clean and simple card. Let's get started.....

To start today's card I prepared a card base in a vibrant blue card stock to measure 4.25 x 5.5 inches. I then trimmed a panel of white cardstock to measure slightly smaller., along with two half inch strips of green and white cardstock. I then trimmed a panel of white cardstock to measure 5.25 x 2.75 inches.

I stamped the images from the Up, Up & Away stamp set onto the slimline panel and coloured with Copic markers. Once the images were coloured I added some white gel pen highlights. I then stencilled in some clouds around half way up the panel and then in ink blended on the top section to give the illusion of being above the clouds.

I then stamped the sentiment in a blue dye ink. I then added all of the panel and strips to the card base. To complete the card I have added shimmer pen to sections of the balloon. That completes this quick and easy card for today. Don't forget you can get 10% off at the online store by using my coded - T4TMIRI10.

Have a great week x

HOORAY! Let's Party!

HOORAY Tea Timers! Let's party with the newest release that went live in the shop over the weekend! There are four new stamp sets and I am excited to showcase the "Let's Party" stamp set for today's blog post.

I love how excited the critters are in this set and especially love the image of the cat in the present. I wanted to create a fun shaker card for this huge celebration and created my own frame.

Sets used:

(Coordinating dies available here)
(Stamp and die combo available here)

I first stamped out my images and fussy cut them out. I used Copic Marker to color them and then set them to the side.

I then cut out the HOORAY sentiment out of gold cardstock and set that to the side. To create my frame, I cut out an A2 panel using the largest die in the Autumn Scene cover plate set, twice from white cardstock and once from acetate. I then took a smaller rectangle die and cut out the middle.

For the second panel, I wanted to create my background. I really like the Pawsome Prints stencil and thought it paired well. I first blended Cracked Pistachio and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxides onto the panel. I then blended Peacock Feathers and Mowed Lawn over the stencil onto the panel.

To assemble my frame, I used tape runner and adhered the acetate onto the back of my frame. I then took foam tape and it adhered it to the back of the frame as well. Using an anti-static powder brush, I brushed it around the inside of the foam and also a bit on the acetate as well.

Once I was done applying the anti-static powder, I poured in my embellishment mix. You can find some really great ones here in the shop. I then adhered the frame onto my background.

To finish assembling my card, I first arranged where I wanted the HOORAY sentiment to go. I then added the critters directly below it and decided the spacing. Once done, I used tape runner to adhere the sentiment and images.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post today and will check out this new set and the entire new release now in the shop. Don't forget to use the code T4TRANDY10 at checkout for some extra savings. Happy Crafting!

Birthday Fox Shaker Card

Hi everyone, DT Emma here sharing with you the new Time for Tea Designs Release!!

For this card I used the new Birthday Foxes stamp set with coordinating dies and the Stars Stitched Cover Die both from the new release.

To start I die cut the Stars Stitched Cover Die from white heavy stock card, I then inked blended the following distress oxide inks:

Picked Raspberry
Kitsch Flamingo
Spun Sugar

I then ran some wet adhesive around the edge of the star apertures before pouring chunky glitter over. I used red liner tape to adhere a sheet of acetate to the back to create the shaker window.

I cut another A6 piece of white cardstock and ink blended in reverse the distress oxides listed above for the background to the apertures and then adhered foam tape around the edge. For this card I used bright multicoloured sequins that I had in my stash for the shaker element. I then adhered the two pieces together.

To finish off the card I stamped and die cut the three standing foxes from the new Birthday Foxes stamp set along with some of the other cute elements including, the balloons, party hat and crown. I coloured them using the following copic markers:

Foxes: Y21, Y35, Y38, R32 (for the nose and cheeks) and C1 on the tail
Balloons: R32, R35 and R43 (I then adhered a bit more chunky glitter to their bases)
Party Hat: R43
Crown: YR23 and R43

I also stamped and die cut the "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the Birthday Foxes stamp set to complete the card. This card will fit on a A6 card blank.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend, see you again next time!

I Chews You

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here! Did you know Time For Tea Designs is five years old this month?! Congratulations to Jo and Ant for their success. To celebrate, they are having a birthday sale! I am so grateful to have been on the design team since 2019. I have loved every minute of it, as it has brought me tremendous joy during some tough years in my life.

Today, I am sharing a card that features the brand new Gummy Bears stamp set from the latest release that is now live on the website!

I used the A2 Layering dies to cut one of the pieces of patterned paper from the Pawsome Rainbows 6x6' Paper Pad. It is such a beautiful paper pad with many bright and pretty patterns. I used liquid glue to stick this to an A2 white card base.

Next, I die-cut a 3 3/4 by 4 1/2 inch piece of white cardstock using a stitched rectangle die. I used a light hand-to-ink blend squeezed lemonade Distress Oxide using my Beautiful Rainbow Blender Brushes to the center of the panel. I added splatter with a paintbrush, water and wild honey Distress Oxide ink.

I stamped 'I chews you' in Versafine Onyx Black once the panel was dry and heat embossed with Icicle ultra fine embossing powder by Brutus Monroe (clear).

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) several images from the Gummy Bears stamp set and cut them out with my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e (so handy when you don't have coordinating dies!) I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen

I used liquid glue to stick the stamped elements to the yellow panel. I then glued this to the card base and added three yellow enamel dots from the Sweet Summer Designer Enamel Dots collection to complete the card.

Happy Birthday!

Hey there Tea-timer friends...

DT Ashlee here to inspire you with some awesome Time for Tea goodies!

For this card I used these T4T products :

- Eggstra special birthday stamp & co-ordinating die set

- Fishtail banner dies

- Simple sentiments stamp

Slimline porthole dies

To create this card I started with a blue card stock base and gave it a splatter with black paint. I then die cut the porthole out of the top middle and made it into a shaker frame with the co-ordinating frame die. I filled the shaker with a bunch of pretty sequins/embellishments and backed it with pink card stock

I stamped, coloured and die cut a bunch of images from the Eggstra special birthday set and adhered them to create a happy little birthday scene. These were all coloured with Ohuhu markers. To complete the card I die cut a banner and stamped a sentiment "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" along with a touch of sequins!

I hope you enjoyed today's card, I'll be back next week with more T4T goodness!
Happy crafting, hugs Ashlee.

LLAMA TELL YOU

Hi friends, DT Miri back with another card making project. This week I am using the Llama Tell You stamp set - what a fun stamp it is. A clean, simple card this week - so let's get started.....

I started off by stamping the images in a Copic friendly dye in  and then coloured them using Copic markers. I then fussy cut all of the images and set them aside.

I created a card base from 80lb white cardstock and then die cut the Wonky Window Cover die from teal cardstock. I added some teal ink blending behind each window and then glued the cover die to the card base.

I stamped the sentiment in a royal blue dye ink and the glued all of the images into place. That completes the card for today.

I hope you have a great week and you might find a bit of time to be creative!!

Hello Baby - Repurposing Easter Sets

Hi Tea Timers and welcome back to the blog! Today, I wanted to showcase a card in which I repurposed some of the Easter sets that I had in my stash. I love finding other uses for typically Holiday oriented supplies and so I decided they could be used to make baby shower cards or gender reveal cards.

Sets used:

(Eggstra Special Birthday stamp + die bundle available here)

I first took an A2 Panel and blended Kitsch Flamingo, Scattered Straw, Twisted Citron and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxides over the panel. I then took the stencil and blended Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn and Peacock Feathers over the stencil.

With the 'hello' die, I cut it out of gold cardstock. I cut the word 'baby' out of teal and pink cardstock. With the egg die, I cut it out of white cardstock.

I stamped out the image of the chicken and used the coordinating die set to cut it out. I then used Y11, Y13, and Y17 to color the chicken.

With the egg diecut, I wanted it to look the like the egg hatched and so I took scissors and cut the egg in half with a zigzag pattern. If you have a zigzag die, you could use it to cut the egg in half.

To assemble my card, I first laid out where I wanted the sentiments to go and spaced it enough to include the egg and the baby chicken.

I used liquid adhesive to adhere all my elements. This is a very quick and easy card and can be made if you are in a time crunch.

Most of the Easter sets are on sale right now in the shop and so it is the perfect time to stock up. Use the code T4TRANDY10 at checkout for eggstra savings! Happy Crafting!

Let's Catch Up!

Hi everyone, DT Emma here sharing how I created this weekends card!

I started by stamping and die cutting the images from the Sweet Village stamp set. I decided this week I would choose a set colour combination and only use those colours to create the card.

I used G12, G03, R21, R22, E31 and E55 to colour the houses and shops then using B000 for the windows and C00 and C1 for the signage.

I used a white gel pen to add accents to the images.

For the background I took a piece of white cardstock measuring 3.75 in by 5 in. I used cracked pistachio distress oxide ink to ink blend a band across the middle of the card. I used some gold ink to create some splatters. I attached this piece to a 4 in by 5.25 in piece of kraft cardstock.

I then adhered my images on to the background piece and then stamped the sentiment "Let's catch up!" from Cafe Critters stamp set.

I finished it by attaching the whole thing to a 4.25 in by 5.5 in blank card.

I hope you love it as much as I do and I will see you again next week!

Rainy Day Hugs

Happy Friday, Annalisa here! I am sharing a cheerful 'hugs' card that features the Memory Keeping Essential Dies and Hogs & Kisses stamp set, both of these are part of the retiring collection - now is a great time to grab them as they are on sale!

I used a stitched rectangle die to cut a beautiful piece of paper from the Pawsome Rainbows 6x6' Paper Pad. I added this to an A2 card base with double-sided tape. I used the same patterned paper to die-cut the Hugs Stitched Sentiment Die.

I cut the polaroid frame from the Memory Keeping Essential Dies into dark navy cardstock. I added a stitched border using a white Gelly Roll Pen. I used liquid glue to stick the 'hugs' sentiment to the frame.

I cut a white backer for the polaroid frame, to which I glued blue-coloured cardstock. I used the grass die from the Slimline Hillside Scene Dies to cut green cardstock and then glued it to the blue area. I then used liquid glue to stick the polaroid frame down on the backer area.

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) the adorable pig with his umbrella from Hogs & Kisses and cut them out with their coordinating dies (also on sale!) I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. I glued the pig to the frame and its' backer sheet and then adhered this to the card base to complete the card.

Holy Moley! It's Your Birthday!

Hey there, Tea Timers!!  It's Amanda here and today I get to show you how I put together this little birthday card!

First, I created my one-layer background using the 6x6 Scene Builder Stencil.  For the dirt, I used Catherine Pooler's Sand Castle ink.  For the grass, I used Melon Ice.  For the sky, I blended Minted and Shea Butter.

I stamped the fence and flowers from the Ewe Are the Best stamp set.  I stamped the rest from the I Really Dig You stamp set.  I colored all my images with Copic markers and added white highlights with a Gelly Roll pen.

After die cutting my images using the coordinating die sets, I attached them to the front of my card using 3D foam squares.

And THAT is how I created this cute little scene!  Thank you so much for stopping by the Time for Tea Designs blog today!  I hope you find some time to get crafty today!

With you....

 Hello there Tea-timer friends...

DT Ashlee back with some more T4T inspiration for you all!

I just love this set Loads of love from the most recent release, it's so cute and lots of fun to create with.

To create this card I started with a blue card stock base and stamped the Plaid background on to a portion of it using a blue ink. This created a focal area where I planned to add the images...

I stamped, coloured and die cut a whole bunch of images from the Loads of love set and arranged them on the card base before adhering in place using different levels of foam tape to add lots of dimension!

(These were all coloured using Ohuhu markers with added white pen highlights).

With you even chores are fun was my chosen sentiment. I stamped that on white card using black ink and die cut it using the co-ordinating die....

How adorable are these images, just look at those little socks!!

I didn't do it on this card but in the co-ordinating die set there is a die that works with the washing machine so you can open the door and add little clothes inside...

To complete the card a small touch of sequins. I hope you like this new card, I look forward to making more cards with this set!

Thanks for stopping by, Happy crafting. Hugs Ashlee.
