Snow happy

Brrrr, I just got my warm and fuzzy slippers out for the first time today, it's getting cold out here!! Mind you, it's not snowing just yet, but the temperature is getting there if you ask me. Perfect setting to create a wintery card!

I used the Skating By Penguins Clear Stamp Set with their coordinating dies for this snowy scene. I stamped the dancing penguins twice and colored them with Copic alcohol markers. The stamped treeline is from the winter background clear stamp set and I also used the coordinating die set for that.

I took a designpaper from the Winter Wonderland 6x6 Paper Pad and used the Simple Nesting Dies - A6 to die cut a background panel. I used the A6 die again to die cut a panel out of white cardstock. With the help of some stitched edges, I cut this white panel into 2 pieces, resembling snowy hills. To emphasize the snow, I added a blue shade with my alcohol markers and some stickles glitter on top of that.

I layered the design papier, colored up treeline and snowy hills onto a striped panel and adhered this stack onto a white card base using double sided tape.

Using a stamping tool, I stamped the sentiment directly onto the card. 

Now all that was left was to add the little penguins and their snowballs. I used 3d foam tape to adhere them onto the base. The result makes me snow happy!
