Candy Cane Lane

Hello everyone! Welcome to Candy Cane Lane where the critters from the new Sweet Christmas A6 Stampset are gathering to enjoy their sweets together. I started by coloring them with Copic alcohol markers and ran them through my Brother Scan 'n Cut machine.

To make a wintery scene, I used the Waves Cover Die and white cardstock. The indvidual waves have now become snowy hills and I used Distress Oxide kitsch flamingo to give them a little glow. I puzzled the scene back together straight onto an A6 folded card using double sided tape.

I adhered the critters and tiny houses with 3D foam tape and added small green die cut trees to finish the scenery. I also stamped on the sentiment from the Simple Sentiments Clear Stamp Set directly onto the card.

To emphasize the twinkling lights within the houses, I added Stickles Sunburst onto the windows.

I love how cosy and inviting the scene turned out, it makes me want to jump in there and join the festivities!
