New home

 Hey there Tea-timer friends...

DT Ashlee here with some card inspiration to celebrate a new home!

I wanted the top portion of this card to be where the whole design was so I masked off a section and did some ink blending along with adding a flirty flowers stencilled design to create the wall of the room!

(Card base was die cut from the Hooray sentiment and cover plate die and the inking was all done using Catherine Pooler inks)

Once the inking was complete I stamped, coloured and die cut images from the Home is where the hearts is stamp set and added them to the base using different levels of foam tape creating a dimensional home scene...

(Colouring was done using Spectrum noir tri-blend markers)

Kitty is very happy perched up on top of the couch hehe!

To finish off the card I added a touch of sequins adhered with glue dots.

I used these Time for Tea designs products :

I hope you enjoyed my new card, I had fun creating it. Thanks for stopping by today and happy crafting. Hugs Ashlee.

You Had Me At... Hello!

Hello Tea Timers! DT Randy here back on the blog with a new card showcasing how you can stretch your sentiment dies as well! I really love the You Had Me at Meow sentiment die and wanted to stretch this die set to pair with additional critters.

Sets used:
With the rectangle die from the Autumn Scene Cover Plate die set, I cut out an A2 panel. I blended Tattered Rose distress oxide over the panel. I then took the Pawsome Prints stencil and blended Saltwater Taffy and Worn Lipstick.

I wanted the card to say "You Had Me at Hello" and so I took the sentiment die set and the hello die and die cut it out of silver cardstock. With the Retro Phone set, I cut it out of sky blue, teal and gold cardstock.

I decided to go with the mouse and bear stamps since it looked like they were waving hello. I stamped those out and used W-0, W-2, W-4, W-6, E00, E01, E11, E13, E15, R20, R22 to color them. With the coordinating dies, I die cut the images out.

For the sentiments and the phone, I used liquid adhesive to adhere them to the card panel. For the critters, I used foam tape to make them pop on the card.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial today and will feel inspired to mix and match the sentiment dies to create fun new sentiments. Don't forget to use the code T4TRANDY10 at checkout if you decide to purchase any of the sets that I used today.

Happy crafting!

New Video - Lovely Bear - Large Dimensional Sentiment & Cute Bear Card

We have a fun new video on our YouTube Channel today showing how I made this cute card with the Love Intertwined Die and one of the adorable characters from the Hey There Critters Stamp set.

The Love Intertwined Die is great for paper piecing but I decided to leave just as a frame. I layered it 4 times to add some easy dimension.

The background is so gorgeous, stencilled with the Flirty Flowers stencil. Those flowers are made up of little hearts and it totally has mine! 💟💟

I finished my card with some of our Enamel Dots and Glossy Accents to add shine to my balloon! Super cute!

You can watch all the crafty fun in the Live Replay below!

Bunny Valentine

DT Annalisa here wishing everyone a happy Friday! It is bitterly cold (-35 Celcius with windchill) where I am in Canada, so I wanted to share a bright spring Valentine's day card. It features the adorable Blooming Bunnies stamp set and the Scattered Hearts Stencil, perfect for Valentine's Day cards.

For the background, I ink-blended Salvaged Patina, Worn Lipstick, Dried Marigold and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide onto the Scattered Hearts Stencil with my Beautiful Rainbow Blender Brushes onto some white cardstock. After removing the stencil, I ink-blended lightly with only the ink on my brushes. I die-cut white cardstock with the large frame in the Smile Inverted Scallop Frame Dies and used liquid glue to adhere it to the ink-blended panel. I used double-sided tape to stick this panel to an A2 card base.

I stamped the bunch of flowers, masked them out and stamped down the wheelbarrow, and finished by stamping the bunny. I used my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e to cut around the bunny and the cart. I then used my Copics to colour them in and added accents with a white Gelly Roll Pen.

I stamped the sentiments from Let's Chat and cut them out with the coordinating die set. I used the heart from the Slimline Postage Stamp Frame Dies to die-cut white cardstock. I ink-blended this with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink and added sparkles to the edge with a Quickie Glue Pen and Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter.

I used double-sided foam tape to stick all of the elements to the card. To complete the card, I added Sweet Summer Designer Enamel Dots.

In case you're not following me on Instagram yet, you can follow me @craftyandcreativevibes.

To create this layout, I used the Wonky Shapes Stencil to create my different sections.  I used a Tombow mono pen in 0.3.

For the stamped images, I used the Happy Trails Stamp and Die Set

I colored the images with Prismacolor colored pencils.

Here are some close-ups of the finished page!

New Real-Time Video. Making a Matching Card Set using Patterned Paper & Scraps!

We have a fun new video on our YouTube Channel today.

This is a real-time video making a card that was inspired by one I made during a YouTube & Facebook Live a couple of weeks ago.

I used the same colour scheme and the same Hello, Hi, Hey Sentiment die set

I also used patterned paper from the same Pawsome Rainbow paper pad. This meant that everything coordinated really well.

I love this 80's style retro colour scheme.

In the first card I used the Retro Phone Builder dies but I really wanted to make a similar style card using the Let's Chat Stamp & Dies.

This is what the set looks like together. I really love how they turned out.

You can watch the video on our YouTube Channel below.

Pawsome....!!

Hey there Tea-timers...

How awesome was Valentine's inspiration week?! It was so nice seeing all the teams lovely creations so I thought I would continue it on a little more this week with a pink pawsome design!!

I used these Time for Tea designs products :

To create this card I started with a light pink cardstock base that I added the pawsome prints too using the stencil and Catherine Pooler ink. I then added a bit of blending to the top portion and gave it a splatter of black paint...

Using the You had me at Meow sentiment I die cut both layers and adhered them together with liquid glue before adhering to the card base with foam tape so it popped up off the base!

I coloured up two plants and a cat from the Purrfect set using Spectrum noir tri-blend markers, die cut using the co-ordinating dies and adhered those also using foam tape before completing the card with a touch of sequins....

I hope you enjoyed this meow card, happy crafting. Hugs Ashlee.
