You Are Awesome Critter Card

Hello DT Vic here today and I'm sharing a very sweet critter card with you.

I love mixing up different Time For Tea Designs stamp sets and I thought it would be fun to add some colours to my card too. So for my card today I used the Be Slothy Stamp SetBeavering Away Stamp Set and the Bearing Gifts Stamp Set. I also used the You Are Awesome Sentiment Die for my greeting.

To start with I ink blended a plain piece of white card using purple, yellow and green distress inks and my Beautiful blending brushes. I then stamped some leaves and some dots.

Next I stamped and coloured my images using copic markers, using the coordinating dies I ran them through my die cutting machine.

I then die cut my You Are Awesome Sentiment Die using green and pink card. I adhered these together using PVA glue and then applied them to the middle of my card using foam tape. I then added all the critters around the edge of my card.

Once all the critters are adhered down your card is now complete. I loved how this turned out and it was so fun to use a sentiment die as my greeting.

Another Gorgeous creation from GD Lyndsey!

 Hi all,

So I'm sharing another card today as part of my guest slot for Time for Tea Designs. This is the 3rd card from the set I made that has a Valentines/Love theme.

I decided to make a card that wasn't for anything in particular (you know sometimes you just get an idea in your head thats for nothing at all) and as soon I as saw the big Hello sentiment die along with the Smitten Kitten stamps I knew my sentiment had to be "Hello Chocolate" - (I mean isn't that what we all say!?!)🤣

I coloured the image with my Spectrum Nior with the following colours:

Kittens
main body - BG1, BG3, BG5, BG7
ears - C3, C2.

Chocolate Boxes - CR8, DR2, DR3

Ribbon - C3, C2, C6.

Chocolates - TN5, TN7, TN9.

For the card I decided on a cute circular card which I cut out using the largest stitched circle die, taking a regular 6x6 card blank and making sure to overlap the die over the fold line. I trimmed a small section off the back piece of the card so it would stand still and not roll, then cut another complete circle to add to the front.

I kept to the pink, red, black and white colour scheme to give it a fresh look and tbh love how it turned out.

Hope you have enjoyed my card, thanks for popping by my blog today.

I Love Mew - A Masculine Themed Card

Happy Wednesday!

It's DT Shabneez and I'm sharing a card that's a little more masculine as my husband doesn't appreciate cards with lots of pink, although he's more than happy to wear a pink shirt......!

Instead of inks I decided to use papers for the background as I thought they went really well with the night time scene I created.  I die cut a couple of circles from the Circle of Love Nesting Dies to create a frame.  I added a small die cut circle for the moon and the Landscape Edge Standalone Dies for the grass.  I die cut a speech bubble from the Speech Bubbles Co-ordinating Die Set and stamped 'I love mew' with the Smitten Kitten Stamp Set.

I coloured the cats image using my Chameleon pen from the same stamp set and cut them out before sticking them amongst the die cut grass.  To finish I stamped out 'Happy Anniversary'.

Love Mail

Happy Valentines Day! DT Annalisa here sharing this adorable mailbox that I made with my Scan N Cut (using a design by Lori Whitlock) and decorated with Time For Tea Designs stamps and dies. I just love how you can put T4T images all the way around the mailbox!

The Mini Mailbox Treat Holder is from Lori Whitlock's SVG Shop which I cut with my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e. I used some bright pink and striped patterned paper for the box which I assembled using instructions on Lori's website.

To decorate the mailbox I used the Happy Mail Critters and Be Kind Be You Clear Stamp Sets as well as the 'love' sentiment from the Circle of Love Nesting Dies. I coloured the adorable images with my Copics after I had stamped and die cut them. I adhered them to the mailbox using liquid glue.

Use code T4TANNALISA10 when you visit the T4T shop to get a 10% discount on your entire order.

Guest Designer Lyndsey shares her gorgeous Heart Shaker Card!

Hello everyone, Lyndsey here and I am so thrilled to have been asked to be a Guest Designer for February.  Today I am sharing a project here on the blog using some of the fabulous items that I was so lucky to receive. I can't tell you how excited I was when my parcel arrived and I saw the adorable Smitten Kittens stamp and die set along with a selection of beautiful dies, I was absolutely in my element!

So onto my card, the stamps and dies in my package were just perfect for Valentines Day makes and as soon as I saw the Horizontal Heart Aperture Slimline Add on Die Set I knew it was just perfect for a shaker card (this girl loves a cute shaker!).

So I started by cutting my trio heart die from red card - now from the name you will see that this die is an add on die and is made to coordinate with other slimline dies and only cuts out the heart apertures, so I used a standard rectangular slimline die from my stash to actually cut out the panel. If you have the Slimline Scalloped Trio Circle Nesting Die set this would be perfect for this. You can't really see it in the photo but I did go round the edge of the panel with Candied Apple Distress Ink using one of the Blender Brushes (oh my these are fabulous!!) I then cut a slightly larger panel from a pinky coral colour card so that I would end up with a mat of colour showing all around.

To make my shaker element I stuck a piece of acetate to the back of the hearts panel,  then added foam tape all around the edges and between each heart to create 3 window sections. I filled each section with a selection of sequins and then cut a slightly smaller piece of white card which I added to the back of the panel to enclose my shaker sections. I attached the panel onto the larger pink panel and the adhered the whole piece onto a pre made DL card blank.

The cute kitties were stamped using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black and I used Spectrum Noir alcohol markers for my colouring. I used the following colours (listed in order of lightest to darkest).

Kittens
main body - BG1, BG3, BG5, BG7
ears - C3, C2.

Chocolate Boxes & Red Balloon - CR8, DR2, DR3

Ribbons & Pink Balloons - C3, C2, C6.

Chocolates - TN5, TN7, TN9.

Once all coloured I used the Coordinating Dies to cut out all my images (these make the job so much quicker & easier than having to fussy cut- well worth investing in the dies) and then adhered them to my card using tacky glue adding a kitty to each heart aperture.

I stamped the sentiment "happy chocolate day" from the stamp set and added this to the top right hand corner of my panel.

To finish my card off I took the Lots of Love Slimline Die and cut out a few hearts using a black and white striped paper, I added 3 of these to my panel just to give it a little pop of something extra and finally added a few randomly placed Clear Drops to complete my card.

I really enjoyed using the Smitten Kittens set for my project and hope that my shaker card inspires you to make one of your own, thank you so much for having me on the blog today. You will find this card and a few others I have made with the Smitten Kittens set over on my Instagram page @the_crafty_blonde

Cosy by the Fire!

The weekend is here and we have made it to half term whoop! That means more crafty time for this momma, so I hope your ready for more Smitten Kitten cards. Its been so cold and snowy this week I just wish I was curled up by the fire like these cuties.
I began by cutting out the rectangle die from the Autumn Scene Cover Plate Die set and added a little Wild Honey Distress Oxide to give a warm glow and my base was ready for my scene. I coloured up the fire from the Warm Winter Wishes stamp set using some light warm greys so that the flames are the main pop of colour. The cats again I coloured up with the warm greys and added some E95, E97 and E99 for the ginger colour. When placing them on my scene I felt like it needed something else to make it look a little more cosy so stamped out the blanket from the Plaid Background Clear stamp set. I popped these all onto the card and added my sentiment from the Be Kind Be You stamp set.
I finished my card off by mounting it on some burgundy card to match the rug and popped it on my card base. A quick and easy card for today, I hoped you like it, don't forget if you want to purchase ay of the items in the shop you can get 10% off using code T4TNATALIE10

Sending Love

DT Annalisa here and since Valentine's Day is in just a few days, I am sharing a card full of love featuring the Smitten Kitten Clear Stamp Set from Time For Tea Designs. I just love the smile on the face of the kitty with her chocolates.

To start, I stamped, cut out and coloured the kitties and their accessories with my copic markers so they were ready to go. To create the pink panel, I used Spun Sugar Distress Oxide and my Beautiful Blender Brush to apply colour to some white card stock. I then used my Big Shot and embossing mat to emboss the XOXO Cover Plate Die onto it, you can see in the close-up photos what a pretty effect this has. It helps you to get even more use out of your dies.

For the large hearts on the top panel, I used the leftover cutouts that I had from my Sending Paper Hugs card - I love that I was able to use them on another card! I have a collection of small white die-cut hearts that I keep for occasions like this when I need hearts in a particular colour - I coloured them with my copics to match my card (pink and teal). I die cut the 'love' sentiment from the Circle of Love Nesting Dies and used Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide to colour it in. I die cut out the love sentiment two more times and adhered them all together with liquid glue to create some dimension.

For the back panel, I coloured the edges of some white card stock with my BG13 copic marker so that it matched the colour of the love sentiment and the teal hearts.

I assembled the card after stamping the 'sending' sentiment with some black ink. I started with adhering down the large hearts with liquid glue, then the kitties (with some foam tape), followed by the sentiment and smaller hearts (with liquid glue). Once the front panel was all assembled I glued it down to the back panel as well as the card base.

I hope you like this card and would love it if you could use T4TANNALISA10 for 10% off your order the next time you purchase anything from Time For Tea Designs.
