Hello I hope you are staying safe and well in these uncertain times.
Today I am sharing a card featuring one of the brand new cover
plate dies from Time For Tea Designs. Part of a big new release coming very
soon! This die is great for so many projects.
To start the card I took a piece of white card stock
and blended Distress Oxide ink in Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed and Carved
Pumpkin. I then used the cover page die and die cut the card. I then die cut
white card using the same die another four times.
I stamped the sentiment in the centre of the card using
black ink. The sentiment is from one of the other new sets coming soon. I used
liquid adhesive to adhere all the die cut pieces together then set aside to
dry.
Next I took a piece of black card the same size as my card base
and added a piece of rainbow mirror card stock on top cut slightly smaller. I
adhered the layered panel over the top. To complete the card I added some
raindrop jewels.
Take care for now
Katrina
Hi I hope you've enjoyed all the sneak peeks this last week. Today I'd like to show you a card using the new release Christmas Surprise A6 stamp set and coordinating dies. And as a bonus I've also used another new release, the Stripes cover plate die.
Here's a close up of the stamp set using the cute dog.
First I die cut the Stripes cover plate in white card and coloured it with distress oxide ink and a T4T beautiful blending brush. Because it's a Christmas card I wanted to add a bit of bling so I backed the stripe die with some silver glitter card and then adhered them to a card. I stamped the images and then die cut them. I coloured the images with alcohol pens and added glossy accents to the baubles and a little bit of glitter to the star and bells. I then used 3D foam pads to add them to the card.
I couldn't leave the other cute cat and rabbit out so I also stamped and coloured those and had them peeking out of the top stripe. Then I had the idea of adding some little baubles to the rabbit ears.
The release launches in the shop on Friday the 24th of July and you can see the
full reveal on the Facebook live on Thursday the 23rd of July.
Ooooo more cuteness! Love those dies!
