Michelle from the Design Team here and today I am sharing the most adorable little baby card that is just bursting with colour and charm!
Supplies used:
Balloons - Hey There Critters
Smallest Square - Simple Square Nesting Dies
For the background I used a polka dot patterned paper in white and teal from the Sweet Summer paper pack, giving a fresh and playful feel without being too busy. It's the perfect backdrop to let all those colourful elements shine!
The main focal point is a set of fun baby building blocks spelling out "baby" in the most gorgeous mix of pink, yellow, blue and teal shades. I blended each block with soft ink to give them a little depth and dimension. Peeking up from behind the blocks are three of the cutest little characters - a fluffy lamb, a sweet bunny and a little grey cat, each with the rosiest cheeks. They look like they are ready to celebrate in style!
Floating above the whole scene are a bunch of cheerful balloons in the same shades as the blocks, coloured with alcohol markers to give them that lovely shiny, rounded look. The whole design is layered up onto a soft mint green base card which frames everything beautifully and ties all those pastel tones together.
This card would be a wonderful way to say "welcome to the world, little one!" and I think it is safe to say this little trio of animals would agree!
