Cheers to 2024

Happy Friday, who is ready to start 2024? DT
Annalisa here and my project today is a Happy New Year's card featuring the You’re Engaged stamp and Happy New Year Sentiment Die.

I used the Stars Stitched Cover Die to cut white heavy stock and ink-blended the cutout cardstock with black soot, chipped sapphire, prize ribbon, broken china and tumbled glass Distress Oxides.

The stars were ink-blended with mustard seed and queezed lemonade Distress Oxide. I added white splatter with a paintbrush, water and Copic opaque white. I adhered both portions of the die-cut cardstock to an A2 card base with liquid glue.

I die-cut red patterned paper with the Happy New Year Sentiment Die and ink-blended it with lumberjack plaid Distress Oxide using my Beautiful Blender Brush. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen

I added dimension by die-cutting the same die three times with white cardstock and using liquid glue to stack up the layers. I stuck the sentiment to the card with liquid blue.

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) images from You’re Engaged (car, kitties, bubbly) and Let’s Party (balloon and sentiment) and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen

I added dimension to 'Let's Party' by die-cutting the outline three times with white cardstock and using liquid glue to stack the layers. I used liquid glue to adhere to the card base.

I used liquid glue for the balloon and foam tape for the kitties in the car. I added Festive Fun Designer Enamel Dots to complete the card.

Hello, hello....

 Hello there Tea-timers...

Today I'm sharing a hello card that I made using die's from Time for Tea designs with a touch of pretty sequins!

T4T products used :

To create this card I started by die cutting the flirty flowers cover die from a teal blue cardstock. I then backed the die cut piece with black card stock to fill in the open portions.

Using the hello die I die cut it three times from yellow card and three times from black card before adhering together with liquid glue and adhering to the card base with foam tape to add dimension.

To complete the card I added a touch of pretty yellow sequins adhered with micro glue dots (I love these things, they are perfect for sequins!).

I hope you enjoyed my die cut card, I love just using dies on my creations sometimes when I might not be feeling like colouring.

Happy crafting friends, hugs Ashlee.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Tea Timers! I hope everyone is having a wonderful and joyous day filled with family and love. I am so sad that Christmas is almost over but wanted to share one last Christmas card before we head towards the New Year.

I wanted to create a scene of a family bringing home a Christmas tree because it's never too late to celebrate with family.

Sets used:

You're Engaged Stamp and Die bundle available here

I first stamped out my images and used Copic Markers to color them. I then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

I then die cut a hill piece and the mini village twice from white cardstock. I blended the hill piece with Black Soot and Weathered Wood Distress Oxides to create a road. I then blended the pieces with Salvaged Patina to give it a snow look.

On an A2 panel, I blended Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxides. I splattered all my pieces with white water color.

I heat embossed the word 'Christmas' onto teal cardstock with white embossing powder and trimmed it down.

I diecut the word 'MERRY' from the alphabet dies.

I assembled the car by gluing the tree on top of the car and then wrapping twine around the tree. I then adhered the passengers into the car. To complete my card, I assembled my card using liquid adhesive and foam tape.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post today and I hope you have a wonderful day! Links to the products I used are above and don't forget to treat yourself today and use the code T4TRANDY10 at checkout.

Interactive Christmas Card

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here today sharing a festive interactive card as we are just days away from Christmas! It features the Open The Door Die and some adorable Time For Tea Designs critters.

I created the background with the Tiled Wall 6 x 6" Stencil by spraying on lumberjack plaid Distress Spray Stain and water on some high-quality watercolour cardstock. I used the left-over ink that remained on the stencil after using it for another background. I placed watercolour cardstock on the inky stencil and pressed it down firmly. I carefully lifted the cardstock and sprayed it liberally with water to create this beautiful effect.

I adhered this 5-by-5-inch panel to a white card base and added a snowy hill using the Landscape Edge Standalone Die. I ink-blended lost shadow Distress Oxide ink onto the stairs area of the Open The Door Die and stuck it on top of the snowy hill on the bottom center of the card.

I ink-blended prize ribbon Distress Oxide ink onto the woodgrain cardstock and then splattered it with water. I die-cut the inked woodgrain cardstock and a silver metallic paper with the door die. I glued a piece of white paper to the back of the door so that I could stick it in the silver sections of the door.

Next, I trimmed white cardstock to fit behind the door frame. I used the Tiled Wall 6 x 6" Stencil and lost shadow Distress Oxide ink to create the inside wall of the house. Antique linen Distress Oxide ink was ink-blended for the floor.

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) images from Snow Much FunIt's Penguin-ing to Look A Lot Like ChristmasBaked With More Love and Let’s Party and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. I glued these to the inked background 'wall' cardstock. I then glued this scene in behind the door frame so that it would peak out when you open the door.

I used liquid glue to stick the door panel and it's' inside to the front of the card. I didn't own the Open The Door Holiday Add-On Die Set (I do now! as I grabbed it in the awesome Black Friday sale!), so I decorated it with mistletoe from It's Penguin-ing to Look A Lot Like Christmas and holly from Gingerbread Family - Our House to Yours.

The elements on the front are from Let’s Party (the small red present), Lucky Ducks and It's Penguin-ing to Look A Lot Like Christmas. I coloured these elements with Copics and stuck them down with liquid glue.

Finally, I added the 'HO HO HO' from the Sentiment Cards – Winter Wonderland White to complete this card.

Happy birthday....

Hey there Tea-timers...

DT Ashlee here with my weekly Time for Tea designs inspiration....

This week my card is a birthday themed one featuring a cute fox and lots of birthday yummies!

T4T products I used to create this card....

Birthday fox

Birthday cake

To create this card I started with a white card base and masked off the bottom portion so that I could ink it up with Twisted citron distress oxide ink. Once I'd filled the top portion with ink I stamped a bunch of the images over it from the birthday cake set using peeled paint distress oxide ink...

I gave it a splatter of black paint and then once it was dry I stamped the sentiment "happy birthday" using Memento tuxedo black ink.

I stamped, coloured and die cut some images from the birthday fox set before adhering them to the card base using foam tape. A touch of sequins and the card was complete!

A simple yet sweet birthday card for the birthday celebrations card stash...
Thanks for stopping by. Happy crafting, hugs Ashlee.

Thank You Card

Hi Tea Timers, welcome back to the blog. With all of the Holidays quickly approaching, I thought it would be a great time to start working on Thank You cards! I have been making Thank You cards to have them ready whenever I receive a card or gift.

Sets used:

I first stamped our my images and used the following Copic Marker colors to color them: E00, E11, E13, E15, B00, B01, B02. I then fussy cut them out. Coordinating dies are available for this set as well.

To create my background I blended Cracked Pistachio, Twisted Citron, Scattered Straw, Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry on an A2 Panel.

On a second panel, I die cut two ocean pieces using one of the hill dies. I then blended it with Peacock Feathers and Salvaged Patina. I splattered white water color all over both pieces along with the background.

After the background dried a bit, I took the Thank You sentiment die and die cut it out of the background. I added piece of rose gold cardstock to the back so that the word pops.

To assemble my card, I adhered my ocean pieces first using liquid adhesive. I then adhered the walrus on the rocks. I added the sheets of ice and then the remaining walruses using foam tape.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post today. Do you make your own Thank You cards as well? All of the sets I used are linked above. Don't forget to use the code T4TRANDY10 at checkout.

Sweet Gingerbread Christmas

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here sharing a sweet mini slimline Christmas card featuring the Gingerbread Family - Our House to Yours stamp set from Time For Tea Designs. This is an adorable stamp set that is perfect for Christmas cards.

I die-cut dark blue cardstock using the rectangle in the Mini Slimline Scallop Die set. I sprayed the blue cardstock with Distress Mica Stain in Snow flurries. It is hard to see in photos, but I love the shimmer and shine that Mica sprays add to projects.

I used liquid glue to stick the blue panel to a wide card base (6 1/2 by 3 5/8 inches). Next, I die-cut white cardstock using the same die set to create a mini scalloped frame and used liquid glue to adhere it to the card. I added 'snow' to the sky using a white metallic marker.

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) several images (and the 'have a sweet Christmas sentiment) from Gingerbread Family - Our House to Yours and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. The little bird is from Love Is In the Air and it was cut out with the coordinating dies.

I stuck the images to the card base using a combination of liquid glue and double-sided foam tape for dimension.

Merry Penguins

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here
sharing a sparkling penguin Christmas card that features the Mistletoe Kisses Digital Stamp Collection from Time For Tea Designs. I paired this with some beautiful patterned paper and dies.

I trimmed patterned paper from the Winter Wonderland Paper Pad 6x6" to 5 1/2 by 4 1/4 inches and used double-sided tape to stick it to an A2 card base. I die-cut white cardstock with the Falalala Scalloped Slimline Dies, trimmed the two longer sides to 5 1/2 inches and ink-blended them with peacock feathers Distress Oxide. I used liquid glue to adhere these to the sides of the card.

Next, I ink-blended peacock feathers and lumberjack plaid Distress Oxide onto white cardstock and trimmed out the letters 'merry' in alternating colours. I added sparkles to the bottoms of each letter with a Quickie Glue Pen and Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter and then used double-sided foam tape to stick them to the card.

I used a stitched circle die in my stash to cut out a 3 1/4-inch circle from white card stock. I ink-blended salvaged patina and peacock feathers Distress Oxides onto the circle with my Beautiful Blender Brush. I added white splatter with a paintbrush, water and Copic opaque white.

I sized, printed and coloured the two penguins with my Copics and cut them out with my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e. The mistletoe is from It's Penguin-ing to Look A Lot Like Christmas; I coloured and die-cut it with the coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen

I applied liquid glue to the bottom of the circle and added Lawn Fawn Chunky Glitter on top. I then glued the penguins and mistletoe. I used double-sided tape to adhere the circle panel to the card. I added Sweet Summer Designer Enamel Dots to complete the card.

Happy December, DT
Annalisa here and I am kicking this month off with a CAS (clean and simple) slimline Christmas card that I created using three dies and no stamps. I rarely do this, but I really enjoyed making this card.

I used the Simple Slimline Nesting Dies to die-cut a white panel and some blue cardstock. I sprayed the blue cardstock with Distress Mica Stain in Shiny Bauble to add shimmer. I love the shimmer and shine that Mica sprays add to projects.

Slimline Christmas Houses card

Now that we are under a month away from Christmas, I have more holiday card inspiration to share. Today, I wanted to feature the Stop Dachshund Around stamp set and the clever sentiment "Dachshund  through the snow."

I first stamped out my images and used the coordinating dies to diecut them out. I then used the following Copic Markers to color the dachshunds: E000, E00, E11, E13, E15, E17. For the accessories I used: R20, R22, R24, YG21, YG23, YG45.

You Had Me At Coffee

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here with another coffee-themed card - I have been on a roll for the last few weeks! I created this card using the large You Had Me At Meow Sentiment Dies that I adjusted to read 'You had me at coffee' by adding the Coffee Sentiment Die. It is always fun to get more use out of dies like this!

I used the Large Scallop Celebrate Frame Dies to cut out watercolour paper on which I ink blended ground espresso Distress ink through the Coffee Beans 6 x 6" Stencil. Next, I applied tea-dye Distress Oxide Spray and heat set the panel. I then added ground espresso Distress Ink splatter using water and a paintbrush.

I die-cut teal cardstock with the 'You had me at meow' and 'coffee' sentiment dies and then ink blended peacock feathers Distress Ink for a deeper colour. I ink smooshed ground espresso Distress Ink onto the coffee text for added texture. I die-cut vellum with the coffee shadow die and used liquid glue to adhere it to the 'coffee' text.

For the images on this card, I used Snappy Before Coffee (coordinating die set) and It's Penguin-ing to Look A Lot Like Christmas (coordinating dies) that I coloured with Copics and added white gel pen accents.

I die-cut the letters/text three times for dimension and glued them all together with liquid glue. I then used liquid glue to adhere all the elements to the card.

I added stickles for sparkle on the bottom of all the letters and some of the images.
