NEW MAY RELEASE! - You've got mail slimline

Hello Teatimers!

It is DT Natalia with you here today. It is bank holiday Monday here in the UK and I hope you are having a fantastic day.

It is also time to show you one of the many cards I made with some of the NEW RELEASE products! Did you watch the new release reveal party FB lives? They were so much fun! I'll link them up here for you in case you missed it and want to watch the replay!

Day 1: click here
Day 2: click here

I am really, really excited about this new release, it is loaded with SO much cuteness! Check it out here: https://timeforteadesigns.co.uk/

For today's card, I used the You Got Mail stamp and coordinating die cuts as well as the Slimline postage stamp frame dies for by background.

To start with, I used the plain rectangle from the Slimline postage stamp frame dies to cut two pieces of white cardstock - these will be for my grass and sky behind the frames. Using my Beautiful Blender Brushes, I used Salty Ocean and Broken China for the sky and Mowed Lawn, Lucky Clover and Twisted Citron for my grass panel.

Next, I used the hillside and grass dies from the new Slimline hillside scenes dies set to cut my green panel into two sections so that I could layer them up, to add some dimension to the background. I also prepared both my slimline cardbase from white cardstock and my postage stamp outer panel from a light brown cardstock.

OK now, I am a bit of a neat freak, and those three postage windows obviously had to line up perfectly - so I made myself a template! I calculated where each square should go so that it was equidistant from each border and between themselves, cut the square with a craft knife and then used that panel as a guide to position my individual postage square frame dies (I used the large one from the set). Do message me if you want more details on this! But I can tell you - they are perfectly aligned ☺ I would also love to know whether you are the kind of person that makes templates for die cutting and stencilling? or do you just eyeball it? Leave me a comment down below!

My panel is now ready, and the next thing to do was stamp the you got mail stamps (multiple times to save myself time) and colour them. I used my Spectrum Noir markers and the colours are listed here:

Snail 1: PP1,PP2, PP3, AP1; PP5; CT1, CT3, CT4
Snail 2: PP1,PP2, PP3, AP1; PP5; OR2, CR9, CR11
Tulips: BTs, BPs, HBs, LGs
Envelopes: BTs, HBs, DRs and BPs and stickles
Post box: CT1, CT3, CT4; OR1, OR3 and OR4
Ladybird: TN1, TN2, TN3; DR1, DR3, DR5; true black and stickles
Mushrooms: DR1, DR2, DR4; BG2, BG3, BG4, BG7

Do remember to use my code for a 10% discount when you check out the new release! T4TNEILA10

Happy Travels

Good afternoon Teatimers and happy Bank Holiday Sunday,

DT Lyndsey here on the blog today, and I'm so excited to be sharing this card made using some of the new release items that were launched on Friday.

This weekend's weather is just gorgeous and seriously making me think of my summer holidays. Just a UK based one for us this year as we have a BIG trip coming up next year that we need to save our pennies for! So in that line with that thinking today I wanted to share with you this adorable card and this little cutie looks like he is off on his travels too!

If you have not seen the new release yet, you are absolutely missing out. For this card I've used quite a few items which are listed below.

Car Critters stamp and die set

Hillside Village stamp and die set

Sunray cover plate die

Slimline scene builder stencil

To start with I stamped and coloured my images using my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers (colours listed below in order of lightest to darkest)

Car - TB2, TB3, TB4

Wheels - IG5,  IG7, IG9

Panda - IG1, IG3, IG5

Scarf -  CR7,  CR11, DR3

Trees- LG1, LG3, LG5 - CG1, CG2, DG3 - TN7,  TN9

Road - IG1, IG3, IG5

I wanted to create a little scene so used the road from the Car Critters set and teamed it with the trees from the Hillside Village set, using the matching die to cut the top of the scene. I cut a piece of white card using the largest of the A2 Layering Dies and added a cloudy background with salty ocean distress ink and the Slimline stencil.

From white card I then cut out the Sunray cover die and created the ombre colour using Squeezed Lemonade,  Wild Honey and Abandoned Coral distress inks. I added this and the coloured scene to the cloud panel and trimed off any overhang.

I added the cute panda to the car and popped him on the road using foam pads - Doesn't he just look like he's driving through the country side off on his holibobs!😁 finishing off the scene by adding a few puffy clouds in the sky.

Before adding the panel to a card blank I made a little frame using the A2 Nesting Frame Dies and added to the panel using foam pads for a bit of dimension. I then adhered this to a slightly larger panel of blsck card before adding to a 6x6 card blank trimed down to size leaving a small border.

I love how this scene turned out and totally love how easy it is to mix and match all the items of the new release to create many different cards. These items will also match perfectly with any of the previous releases too, the only limit is your imagination! I hope you have enjoyed my card today,  I absolutely had so much fun with this new release I can't tell you, and I have so many more cards to share with you soon.

Thank you so much for joining me here on the blog today. If you want to purchase any of the new release don't forget to use my code T4TLYNDSEY10 for 10% off your order!😊

Enjoy the rest of your Bank Holiday weekend

You've got Snail Mail

Hi everyone, so the new Time for Tea release is out and isn't it just super fun! What's your favourite? I love the You got Mail set its just super cute. It will pair perfectly with the older set if you have it in your collection too. You can have a whole family of snails then, it will be like one big party.
So with that the snails had to be my first card, I wanted to create a layered garden scene for them so I used the Die-namic Display card die to cut out my base and stencilled it with the new slimline scene builder stencil using tumbled glass distress ink. After stencilling I added some splatters using the same ink to give some added texture. Once this was finished up I started on the rest of the elements for the background I cut out the panels that come with the Display card die but then used the landscape edge standalone dies on the edges to create my grass and soil. I ink blended these and added some splatters in the same colour to give some texture and popped them onto my base. I find if I do it this was its easier to see my layout and where to put things.
Then it was time for the fun part colouring  all the snails and accessories. I just stamped everything out then anything I didn't use on this card I had ready for another. As I was colouring up my snails I decided to add one with a pink body to add some brightness to the card. It just felt like it needed an extra pop of colour. I liked the idea of the snails bringing snail mail to the ladybird so coloured up my mailbox with some polka dots just like the ladybird and it turned out super cute. Once the big items were coloured up I popped them onto my base to see what I would need to fill in the gaps. Of course I needed my ladybird and some letters then I added some toadstools and flowers.
The next thing to add was my sentiment which I stamped and die cut, I love how it cutes around the letters sometimes a banner strip is just too big and this is the perfect alternate. After adding everything though it felt like my sides were a little bare still. Then I remembered those fun paper planes from the Paper Planes Pals set so added a couple of those and drew in some little dashes with a black copic outliner and that was my card finished up. I hope you like my garden scene and I cant wait to see what you all create. If you still haven't bought your goodies yet don't forget you can get 10% off using code T4TNATALIE10

See you soon friend!!

Hi dear friends Claudia here, I am happy to present my first card made using  my goodies of the new release !!! How many wonders Jo has created this time,

I am full of ideas and inspirations for you !!!

For this slimline card I used two sets of stamps  Car Critters stamp and die set and Hillside Village Stamp and die set, this landscape is really adorable, it has hills with trees and houses and they are really useful to create our scenes, both with the classic cards and with the slimline version because we can compose them the way we like it !!!

And then these cute characters with the car, aren't they adorable?? We really have many possibilities to create many scenes !!!

The die Slimline Scallop Nesting Dies  has three slimline sizes and two fantastic sentiments, I think they can't be missing in our craft rooms !!!
For the road, and the hills and the lawn,  I used the gorgeus set Slimline Hillside Scene Dies
I hope you like them and have as much fun as I do with this new collection !!!

Don't forget to use the code T4TCLAUDIA10 to get a FANTASTIC 10% discount!!!

Sending You Love

DT Annalisa here today wishing you a very Happy Friday and welcoming you to another Time For Tea Designs new release day! There are so many lovely new goodies in the shop, I used three of the new adorable stamp sets to create this fun slimline card.

I drew a straight line using a copic multiliner and then stamped the critters from the new Paper Plane Pals and Car Critters. The squirrel is from the Happy New Year Critters Clear Stamp Set, I masked off his bottom half before stamping him down.

I then stamped down the dotted heart and clouds, followed by the sentiment from the You've Got Mail stamp set. I used the Brick Wall Stencil along with some Vintage Photo Distress Oxide to create the brick wall, which I applied with my Beautiful Blender Brush.

I coloured the rest of the scene in with my Copic markers and added highlights with my white Gelly Roll Pen.

I used the Slimline Scalloped Trio Circle Nesting Dies to cut out the scene, as well as some black cardstock. I adhered the scene to the black cardstock and then added these two bases to a slimline card.

Thank you so much for visiting the blog, you can use code T4TANNALISA10 when you visit the shop to get a 10% discount on your entire order.

Beary Good Day

Hello crafty friends, Kitty here. It's Thursday afternoon which means I am here to share my latest card for Time For Tea Designs. Today I created a sweet scene with some cute bears...

For this card I used the Time For Tea Bears Picnic Stamp Set. I coloured all the images with my copics and cut them out. I created the background using the Scene It Stencil and some blue distress ink. I blended some green distress oxide inks onto white card and die cut them using the Landscape Edges Dies. I then die cut the whole panel using the new Large Scallop Celebrate Frames. I added it with foam tape onto a lightly blended background using the same inks. I added the sentiment which is from the same stamp set onto a banner with some pearls.

Supplies;
Time For Tea Designs Stamps - Bears Picnic
Time For Tea Designs Dies - Landscape Edges, Large Scallop Celebrate Frames

You are TEArrific

Hello there! Silvia's here today with you!

To make this card I started from the background. I pressed some Distress Oxide ink pads in different colors directly on the "Spring Mandala" stencil, I spayed some water and I pressed my cardbase on it. I dried it with my embossing gun and then I splattered with the same ink colors used on the stencil and I darkened edges with gathered wings Distress ink...isn't cool?!

I then stamped images from the "Tearrific Pals" stamp set, I colored them with alcohol markers and I cut them with coordinating dies.

I put everything together using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape, I added a sentiment from the stamp set and that's all.

Thank you so much for stopping by and feel free to use my code T4TSILVIA10 to get a 10% off your Time for Tea order.

Hugs, Silvia.

Happy mail: Featuring the small stamp - Tearrific Pals

Hey everyone, Lien here. Today I am sharing this card where I use a smaller stamp from a stamp set (Tearrific Pals from Time For Tea Designs) and feature it all over the card. I have 2 versions, one just using a colored card stock (imagine using a rainbow of colors) and one where I colored the stamp in several colors.

You can click HERE to watch on the Time for Tea Designs Youtube channel.

Card #1
I white heat embossed the image from the Tearrific Pals stamp set several times onto brown card stock. After die cutting all of them using the matching dies, I did the same for the sentiment. I took an A2 sized white panel and added everything together on top of it. I finished the panel by decorating the tea bags with heart sprinkles stickers.

Card #2:
I stamped the image and sentiment from the Tearrific Pals stamp set several times onto an A2 sized panel out of Strathmore Bristol Smooth 100lb. With ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers, I colored all of the images.

Guest designer Carrie has some gorgeous rainbow cards for us this week!

Hello, Carrie Rhoades here, back with another post sharing some of my favourite things from Time for Tea.

Today I will be creating some mini scenes that you can easily use on any size card.

I have made three card to showcase my mini scene, a slimline, a mini slimline and a 4" x 4" square card.

T4t mini scenes 1

You can see each of the mini scene are in circles on each of the cards. The stamps that I used for the mini scenes are the All Occasions Critters and the Grateful for You Landscape clear stamp sets.
Let's take a closer look at each of these three cards.

T4t mini scenes 2

Each of these cards also has a rainbow background, for the slimline card I did some ink blending with some die based inks from Altenew to create a rainbow panel that I then die cut using the Lots of Love Slimline die.
Each of my mini scenes was stamped with an image from the Grateful for You Landscape stamp set. The mountain image I used is about 5" long. I just used a portion of this stamp on my circle, the image is small enough for a mini scene. I thought it was a great backdrop for these critters, meeting ups for coffee and donuts, but outside as we are doing more of nowadays. The center circle holds the main sentiment and uses the Sun and clouds image, also from the same landscape set.

Time for tea 4

The rainbow background on this card was made by first ink blending with the super soft ink blending brushes by Time for Tea a rainbow, then stamping on the A5 Woodgrain background stamp with black ink. Then I splattered on some shimmer. A great accent background for a rainy scene. The mini scene was done the same as in the slimline card, but on a slightly larger circle. This card is a mini slimline card, the finished card measures 6" x  3".   All my coloring was done with Copic Markers, I used the same colors through out all three cards.

T4t mini scene 3

For my third mini scene I made a sky scene for this little one. The finished size of this square card is 4" x 4". You may have noticed that for each circle I added a shadow circle in a very light gray card stock, to give the scene a little something to make it pop. The rainbow background for this card was stamped using the Plaid Background stamp set. I inked up one end of this image with a dark pink ink. The other end a turquoise blue ink. Then I brayered on ink in the center of the stamp in yellow. This overlapped the pink and the turquoise ink and gave me orange and green. I was so happy with the results after stamping down this image.
I love each of these cards and how cute the mini scenes look on a rainbow background. I'd love to know which is your fave!

So hoppy you're my friend

Happy Monday crafty friends!

DT Natalia here with you today, and I am back with a new card featuring the Tulip Add On Die Set and the Blooming Bunnies stamp set

When I craft, I like thinking of different ways in which I can stretch my dies and stamps, and use them differently. In this case, instead of using the Tulip Add On Die panel on a slimline card as I did last week (check it out here if you missed it!), I decided to use the gorgeous die cut tulips as the central focus of my card.

I used alcohol inks to create three different panels from which I die cut the tulips. I used Dandelion, Sunset orange and Poppyfield, and on every panel I used Sterling Alloy for the shine effect - pictures do not pay the shimmer justice, specially these pictures I took yesterday, the weather was so grim here in the UK!

The orange panel on this card is and A2 size - 4.25x5.5" and the white panel is slightly smaller - 4x5.25". Each tulip has 3 white layers of cardstock plus the yupo paper tulip on top. Just as Laura Fadora says; #dimensionislife - and I can only agree. The 'friend' word die cut follows the same process, with a vellum shadow. If you follow me on Instagram, you already know I am hooked to these word sentiments from Time for Tea Designs; they are a perfect size, and they come with shadow, which I very much love with a sentiment!

The bunnies are coloured with my Spectrum Noir markers and I used EB7, MB4, MB3, MB2 and MB1. For the cheeks I used PP3 and then I added some highlights with a white gel pen.

I used white embossing powder for the 'so hoppy you're my' sentiment and used the Blooming Bunnies coordinating die to die cut it and the bunny.

To save 10% off your shop, remember to use the code T4TNEILA10

I hope you like the card and have a wonderful week ahead! See you next Monday with something very exciting!

Sending hugs,

Natalia

Brighter days are ahead!

Good afternoon everyone and happy Sunday,

DT Lyndsey here and today I want to share this bright and cheery rainbow card with you.

Its been a tough time for many over the last year and I wanted to make a card purely just to say things will be get better. The bright rainbows and sentiment were just the perfect combination.

I used the Mini Shaker Rainbow Die cut out in bright colours and actually used the internal pieces instead of the shaker frame.

I cut a piece of white card out using the A2 Layering Dies and added the rainbows randomly across the panel (I used the shaker frame to help with the placement of the archs).

I used the scattered hearts Cover Plate Die to cut a bunch of red hearts to add between the rainbows. The smile sentiment can from the Invetered Scalloped Frame Die and I used one of the Sentiment strips underneath.

The whole panel was added to a piece of black card and adhered to a 6x6 card blank cut down to around 12cm wide.

Thank you for joining me here on the blog today,  don't forget to use my code T4TLYNDSEY10 for 10% off your order in store.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend

Blooming Bunnies!

Happy Saturday everyone it's DT member Natalie back again to share this sweet Blooming Bunnies card.  It’s another  really quick and easy card to make but still looks so beautiful don't you think!
I combined the bunnies with the new Tree of Love Cover plate die, I think this die is going to be perfect all year round and goes with so many of the Time for Tea stamp sets.
I began by cutting the tree out of white card stock and using that as a template for the size of my back piece. I coloured both the tree and back piece in with distress oxides. I wanted to create a sunset feel so added some twisted citron at the bottom to give the feel of grass then worked up with squeezed lemonade, dried marigold and kitsch flamingo. The tree is just simply one brown oxide I forget which one and I coloured in the red heart with Copic marker.
Once the background was all coloured up I layered it all together ready for the sentiment and bunnies. Once stamped I coloured in my bunnies with warm grey markers and a bit of R11 for some rosy cheeks and the inside of their ears.
I finished them off by die cutting them out and adding three little white dots to their cheeks using a white gelly roll pen and popped them onto my card. Then all was left was the sentiment which I heat embossed onto black card and cut out with my paper trimmer.
I added some foam tape behind the bunnies and sentiment strip and popped them onto my card and onto a card base and that was my card finished up. I hope you like it and if you want to buy any of the supplies in the Time for Tea shop you can get 10% off your order using code T4TNATALIE10
Have a lovely weekend and I will see you all again next week!

Smile!!

Hello to all crafty friends Claudia here, with this card that talks about friendship and smiles. These two cute friends send happy mail!

For my card I used the adorable  stamp set  Happy Mail Critters

For the base I used the Large Scallop Celebrate Frame

To give importance to the word SMILE of the die set Smile Inverted Scallop

I used a sentiment  from the   Brighter Days sentiment Cards

I liked the idea of putting the bird on the sentiment, it seems to me that it's okay, right?

I wish you a wonderful weekend, we will spread many new ideas and inspirations on the blog every day, see you soon !!!

Magical Forest Hike

Happy Friday! Today, I share a slimline card featuring the adorable squirrel from the Happy New Year Critters Clear Stamp Set. I am always asking Jo to design stamp sets with squirrels and she really delivered with this cutie!

As I mentioned last week, I have started the Copic Enchantment course by Sandy Allnock, in which she guides you through creating ten slimline scenes over at art-classes.com. I created this beautiful scene while following the second lesson in the course, and it looks just like the forest that I hiked in this past Monday. It was the hardest and most technical hiking trail that my husband and I have done, and we are so proud of what we accomplished! It took us 3.5 hours in total, for 7 km - I have a short video of our adventure over on Instagram if you are interested.

I stamped the squirrel and the balloon (from Hooray Hamsters) and then coloured the scene with my Copics. Let's just say with all of these green and brown scenes I am creating, I have needed to use my Copic reinkers a lot more lately! Once the scene was completely coloured, I used some white Gelly Roll Pen to create the dots. To complete the card, I used the 'let's celebrate' sentiment from the Brighter Days Sentiment Cards | White on Grey.

I hope you like this card and would love it if you could use T4TANNALISA10 for 10% off your order the next time you purchase anything from Time For Tea Designs.

You Are Awesome

Hello crafty friends, it's Kitty here. So today I am sharing a bright and simple card that I made just using sentiments...

I thought it would be different to show that you can use just dies on a card and make them the focal point. For this card I used Time For Tea Designs You Are Awesome Sentiment Dies. I die cut it from black and white card and layered it together. I die cut  the little stars from white glitter card. They are very sparkly in real life just unfortunately it doesn't pick up well in the photo. I created a rainbow splash effect background using my distress inks. I simply added some ink to a piece of acetate spritzed it with water and placed it face down onto some watercolour. I repeated it until I got the background I wanted then added some black paint flicks. I also added a printed sentiment from the Brighter Days Black Sentiment Cards.

Don't forget you can get 10% off your next Time For Tea order using my code T4TKITTY10. Thank you for joining me today, I will be back next week. Don't forget to come back tomorrow for more inspiration from the DT.

Using Patterned Paper & Pre-Printed Sentiments | with Tasha

 Hey Crafty People!

It's Tasha here, and I'm back with some more video inspiration for you. Today I'm sharing three designs using more of the beautiful paper from the Brighter Days release and I'm pairing them with the pre printed sentiments; I LOVE these!!!
These two supplies make it so easy & fun to make a whole bunch of cards!

Check out my video here, and some details about each card below!

Card 1

So for my first card, I cut the cloudy sky paper down to a2 (4.25x5.5inch) and attached this to an a2 card base made from heavyweight white card.

I cut the smaller Inverted Scallop Frame from some baby blue cardstock I had in my stash and glued this onto the diagonal stripes rainbow paper.

I trimmed around the frame with some long blade scissors, and glued the whole thing to the upper middle of the clouds background.

I chose the Brighter Days Are Ahead sentiment from the grey sentiments set and cut this into a strip with my paper trimmer, before popping it up on an adhesive foam strip on the rainbow.

Three enamel dots from the neutrals set finished this off nicely.

Card 2

I think this is my favourite of the three cards I made today! I just love these stitched Tulips from the Slimline Add On; this die cuts three Tulip windows into your paper, and the stitching detail is on both the windows and the Tulips.

I trimmed the black & white wavy striped paper down to a2, with my stripes going horizontally for a landscape card.

I chose three areas to cut my Tulips from on the coloured bands and dots paper, trimming a small aquare that I could then tape onto my die.

The business of the background meant my Tulips just didn't pop like I wanted them to, and my favourite solution to that is always to add a bit of vellum! This tones down the background enough to help the flowers stand out whilst also allowing the background to peek through. I love this trick!

I trimmed one of the black pre printed sentiments this time, then added this across the middle flower die cut and again, I finished the whole design with some enamel dots.

Card 3

This one is the easiest of all as it requires nothing more than a paper trimmer!

I cut the blue wavy paper down to a2, and then trimmed the purple paper to 4x5.25inch, this gives me a nice border right round when I layered them up.

I cut the mini rainbows and clouds paper down into a 1.5inch strip that sits nicely on my purple layer.
I glued each of these down onto each other, then an a2 card base.

Another grey sentiment and some cute cloud embellishments finish the design nicely!

So that's it!
I really love how easy it is to make great cards with some fabulous paper and these pre printed sentiments. Perfect!

I hope you enjoyed my video and you're feeling inspired to play around with your own supplies!
Thank you so much for spending this time with me.

Have a lovely, happy, safe, wonderful week!

Stay Crafty!

Always here for you

Hello there! Silvia's here today with a new friendship card for you!

I started die cutting a white panel with the biggest die from the "Large Scallop Celebrate Frame" die set, I colored it with seedles preserved and victorian velvet Distress Spray Stains and I heat dry with my gun.

I then applied some crackle paste with the beautiful "Spring Mandala" stencil, I added a bit of gold embossing powder on it and I let air dry the paste before heat melting the powder.

I added a sentiment from the "Brighter Days Sentiment Cards- white on gray", I paired with a piece of patterned paper from the "Brighter Days" paper pad, I darkened edges with a bit of black soot Distress ink and that's all!

I'm so happy of how this card turned out and I hope you'll love it too.

Thank you so much for stopping by taking a peak today and don't forget that you can get a 10% off your Time For Tea Designs order with my code, T4TSILVIA10.
