Not only are we sponsoring with a prize of a £20 gift Ecard for the store but I have also made a card to share.
I really wanted to create something beautiful and encouraging that you could send to a friend in need of some positive uplifting vibes!! I think we all need reminding we are fabulous from time to time!
This card is totally out of my comfort zone as I rarely do just floral centrepieces. Keeping my image small mean I didn't feel overwhelmed by the task.
I used our Thanks a Whole Bunch Stamp Set and stamped it using embossing ink over our Small Square Masking Stencil. I set the ink with Thirsty Brush True Black Embossing Powder. This stuff is amazing! Super shiny and very fine so it gets all the detail.
The card stock is bright white mixed media 160gsm that I had in my stash. It works really well with watercolours as I painted my flowers with Zig Real Brush Markers.
My card base is one of our 5" square card blanks. I added a square of our Rainbow Bright's Paper to this base. This was cut using our new Quilted Square Nesting Dies. The focal panel was cut using the same die set.
The sentiments are from the Say Anything Stamp set and again I stamped them with embossing ink & the Thirsty Brush True Black Powder.
I adhered the panel to my card base using Foam tape. The finishing touch was some Nuvo Crystal Drops in yellow & green randomly dotted around the image.
I hope you like the project today.
Details of the T4TD products I used are below.
