Rain or Shine Slimline

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here! Unfortunately, we are currently experiencing a drought and haven't seen rain in weeks. I hope my card today inspires Mother Nature to shower my garden with rain soon! It features the Rain Or Shine Mice and Skies The Limit Slimline Die.

I started by die-cutting Distress White Heavy cardstock from Ranger using the Skies The Limit Slimline Die. I then ink-blended the rainbow and sky sections with Kitsch Flamingo, Wild Honey, Twisted Citron, Salvaged Patina, and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxides using my Beautiful Blender Brushes.

After gluing the frame of the Skies The Limit Slimline Die onto a slimline card base, I added the individual pieces with liquid glue. Next, I ink-blended Hickory Smoke and Lost Shadow onto Distress White Heavy cardstock using the Tiled Wall 6 x6" Stencil. I adhered this layer to the card base and added white splatter across the entire scene using a paintbrush, water, and acrylic paint.

I stamped several images from the Rain Or Shine Mice stamp set, colored them with Copics, and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents using a Gelly Roll Pen. Additionally, I used stamps from the Ewe Are The Best (for flowers), Seasons Tweetings (for green branches), and Cacti Critters (for butterflies and a plant pot). Finally, I used liquid glue to adhere all the images and sentiments to complete the card.

Slimline Coffee Catch Up

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here today, I’m excited to share a beautiful springtime slimline scene of friends catching up over coffee and croissants. I used the Café Critters stamp set and Skies The Limit Slimline Die from Time For Tea Designs.

First, I die-cut white cardstock using the Skies The Limit Slimline Die. Then, I ink-blended the clouds with Salvaged Patina and Stormy Sky Distress Oxide inks using my Beautiful Blender Brush. I applied Saltwater Taffy, Squeezed Lemonade, Cracked Pistachio, and Shaded Lilac Distress Oxides for the rainbow.

I used liquid glue to adhere the scene outline and inside pieces to a slimline card base.

For the background, I ink-blended Lost Shadow onto a half-inch strip of white cardstock with the Tiled Wall 6 x6" Stencil. After removing the stencil, I blended over the panel with the remaining ink on my brush to fill in the white areas with a lighter grey. I then used double-sided tape to attach the brick floor to the card base.

I stamped and coloured several images from the Café Critters set using Copics, then cut them out with their coordinating dies. To add some detail, I used a white gel pen for accents.

Additionally, I stamped the 'Hey' sentiment from the Hey There Critters set and cut it out with its coordinating die.

Finally, I used liquid glue to adhere all the stamped elements to the card.

Slimline Birthday Treat

Happy Friday, everyone, DT Annalisa here! Today's card is a slimline birthday card I created using the Skies The Limit Slimline Die and the Sweet Cart Critters stamp set. This was the first time I had used this slimline die and I like the cute scene it created.

I created a slimline card base and die-cut the Skies The Limit Slimline Die from white cardstock. I used temporary adhesive on the rainbow die-cut scraps of paper to mask off the rainbow strips.

I ink-blended festive berries Distress Ink, spiced marmalade, squeezed lemonade and salty ocean Distress Oxide from top to bottom on the rainbow using my Beautiful Blender Brushes. Next, I ink-blended salvaged patina Distress Oxide in the sky area of the card base.

Once all the ink-blending was complete I used liquid glue to adhere the Skies The Limit die-cut to the card base. I added the cloud pieces back into the die-cut and coloured them with my copics to add dimension.

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) several images from Sweet Cart Critters and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen.

The sentiment is from Warm Hugs, the butterfly and worm are from I Really Dig You, the bee is from Fruitful Friends, the flowers are from Ewe Are The Best and the balloons are from Just Married.

I stuck the images to the card base using a combination of liquid glue and double-sided foam tape for dimension.
