Holey Moley Gardening Scene

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here, and today I’m sharing a spring gardening scene featuring the adorable moles from Time For Tea Designs. These happy little moles are excited to be back in the garden, and honestly, so am I!

I started by using a frame die from my stash to cut white cardstock. I then used the same die on Distress Watercolour Cardstock. Using a grass-border die, I cut the inner negative pieces from the frame and coloured them with Distress Watercolour Pencils.

For the grass, I used Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, and Rustic Wilderness for splatter. For the sky, I used Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, and Uncharted Mariner for splatter.

Next, I adhered the white frame along with the grass and sky sections to an A2 card base using liquid glue.

Finally, I die-cut the images and sentiment from the I Really Dig You A4 Printed Cardstock using the coordinating dies. I adhered all the elements to the card base with liquid glue.

Interactive Birthday Card

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here, sharing a fun interactive card featuring the I Really Dig You Printed Cardstock and coordinating dies from Time For Tea Designs. I love the way the mole pops out from his hole! 

For the background, I used papers from the Pretty Pastels 6x6 Paper Pad. I die-cut the patterned paper using the Peekaboo Pop-Up interactive die from Lawn Fawn, then ink-blended the edges with Salvaged Patina Distress Ink to add contrast and depth.

For the foreground, I blended Mowed Lawn Distress Ink onto light green cardstock and added a bit of splatter with the same ink for extra texture and interest. I used the outermost tab for the interactive element and adhered it inside the card in the appropriate position. If you’re new to this die, Lawn Fawn has several helpful video tutorials on YouTube that walk through the process.

The images are from the I Really Dig You Printed Cardstock, which I die-cut using the coordinating dies. I adhered them to the interactive panel with liquid glue to bring the scene to life. To finish the card, I added three purple die-cut hearts and accented them with a white gel pen for a sweet final touch.

Thinking of You Moles

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here! Today I’m sharing a gardening-themed card created for someone going through a hard time. It features the Thinking Of You Sentiment Die and the I Really Dig You A4 Printed Cardstock from Time For Tea Designs.

I began by using low-tack tape to mask off a floor section on white cardstock. In the sky area, I ink-blended Salvaged Patina and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide, then added a splatter of Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.

Next, I masked the sky with scrap paper and used a blender brush to ink-blend Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide through the I Really Dig You background stencil to create the ground. With the remaining ink on the brush, I lightly filled in any white areas left after removing the stencil.

I added white splatter across the entire panel using Picket Fence Spray Stain. Once the panel was dry, I die-cut it with the Stitched Quilted Cover Die and adhered it to an A2 card base using liquid glue.

Using the coordinating dies, I cut out the images from the I Really Dig You A4 Printed Cardstock and adhered them to the card base with liquid glue. I added Glossy Accents for dimension and shine.

For the sentiment, I used the Thinking Of You Sentiment Die to cut purple striped patterned paper from my stash, then die-cut the shadow layer from vellum. I adhered both pieces to the card base to finish the design.
