Oceans of fun

Happy Friday everyone! DT Annalisa here and today I am sharing an underwater scene using the Say Cheese Cover Plate Die and the Shell Phone stamp set and coordinating die set from Time For Tea Designs. While this cover plate die was designed to be cheese I decided to use it for the sea! I just love being able to stretch my supplies!

I used Distress Oxides to colour two pieces of white cardstock - Salty Ocean and Mermaid Lagoon for the top portion and Cracked Pistachio for the underneath. I added water droplets to both portions for interest. I used the Say Cheese Cover Plate die to create the holes in the top portion of the card and added foam tape to the underside of it for some dimension.

I stamped, coloured and die cut the fish and other elements from the Shell Phone stamp set. I glued them down to the base making sure they were lined up to peek out of the holes in the die-cut. The small bubbles and little rock are from another stamp set I own but could be easily drawn in. I added some highlights with my white Gelly Roll Pen.

I adhered the top of the card to the underside lining things up carefully and then added some blue sequins to complete the card.

Ahoy!

Happy Friday the 13th! DT Annalisa here and today for my Time For Tea Designs creation I am sharing a nautical themed card using the brand new Hooray A6 Panel & Sentiment Die as well as Shell Phone, an older stamp set and coordinating die set.

For the background, I pulled out my Koi watercolours and a thicker brush to create the stripes. Once the watercolour paper was dry I ran it through my Big Shot using the A6 Panel. After painting some watercolour paper with red, I die cut out the Hooray Sentiment die and used the letters 'ahoy.' I cut out the letters again so I could add some dimension to the sentiment. I added some white Distress Paint splatters to both the background and the letters.

I stamped, coloured (with copics) and die cut the sea critters and adhered them to the background and letters. To finish the card I mounted it to a black background to make the colours pop.

If you like these products be sure to use the use discount code T4TANNALISA10 to get 10% off your whole order including the new release stamps.
