Goodbye 2024! πŸ‘‹

The last blogpost in 2024! And also the last post by me, Ilona, unfortunately.
As you might have read in the update on the 12th of december, the GPSR regulations puts T4T in a very unpleasant position, and selling and sending to people within the EU is no longer possible.
Guess who lives in the EU? πŸ˜’

So it is with a heavy heart that I present to you my last T4T DT card! When happy things come to an end I tend to get sad, so I tried turning it around by making a very joyful, sparkly, happy and hopeful card. What else could be more perfect than a happy new year card on the last day of 2024?

I started off by die cutting a rectangle out of white cardstock with the Simple Nesting Dies - A6 and blending distress oxides salvaged patina, peacock feathers and uncharted mariner. With a stencil and Nuvo glitterpaste I added the sparkly fireworks.
Out of black cardstock, I die cut a border with the Slimline Mini Village Die and adhered it onto the background as soon as the glitter paste had dried.

I then took two critters and two balloons out of the Hey There Critters Clear Stamp Set, and replaced the balloons (but keeping the strings) by sparkly fireworks. I colored the critters with alcohol markers and gave each of them a firework to hold. I die cut the sentiment with the Happy New Year Sentiment Die twice. Once in black cardstock and once in metallic gold cardstock. Adhered them together, leaving a slight black 'shadow' visible.

I adhered the critters and the sentiment onto the background using 3D foamtape.
Last step was to die cut a scalopped edge using the Sweet Scalloped Dies.

That rounds up the making of this card Γ‘nd my membership of the T4T design team. I really enjoyed this last year! Please keep following the remaining members of the team and support T4T if you can, they deserve it!

I wish all of you a very very happy, sparkly and creative 2025! Enjoy the festivities tonight and be careful πŸ’œ
