Hi Tea Timers, welcome back to the blog. We are just a couple days away from Christmas and I have one last card to share before the big day.
I wanted to use the recently released 'Merry Cheesemas' stamp set in my last holiday card for 2024.
Sets used:
I first stamped out my images and the fussy cut them out. The latest release does not have coordinating dies. Once I cut them out, I used Copic Markers to color all of the images.
To create my background, I took an A2 panel and masked off the bottom portion. I wanted it to look like the mice were celebrating "cheesemas" on top of a counter.
Using the Tiled Wall stencil, I blended it onto the top portion of the panel using Saltwater Taffy and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxides.
For the sentiments, I stamped them out onto white cardstock and then trimmed them down into separate strips.
To assemble my card, I first adhered the cheese tree in the middle of the card using liquid adhesive.
On one side of the tree, I added the sleeping mouse and the one eating the cheese along with the plate of milk and cheese. I wanted it to look like one mouse was waiting for Santa but fell asleep while the other was eating the cheese from the plate meant for Santa.
On the other side of the tree, I added the mouse with the present. The second mouse was holding a piece of holly but I trimmed off the holly and adhered a piece of cheese to show a gift exchange.
I completed my card by adding the sentiments on either side of tree using liquid adhesive.
I hope you enjoyed this blog post today. All the products that I used are linked above. Don't forget to use the code T4TRANDY10 at checkout for extra savings.
Happy Holidays!
