Have a Cool Birthday!

Happy Saturday Teatimers! So what did you think of the new release, What's on your wish list or did have to have it all?
I just love the Cool Critters set I love the little kitty with their Twister Ice lolly and I couldn't resist giving the racoon a little Fab lolly.
To make my card I stamped out all the images from the Cool Critters stamp set, I always do three of each so while I have my pens out I can colour up a few at a time. This always helps when you need a quick card later on as they are already cut and coloured up and ready to go.
There wasn't a lot of fancy colouring I just added some dots for texture on the ice cream. Then to make the Fab lolly I used my coloured Gelly Roll pens to add the sprinkles then cut them out with the coordinating dies
Going with the Twister theme I really wanted to create a fun summer background with the Slimline Candy Stripes die unfortunately this is no longer available in the shop at the minute if you haven't got it  though you could use and striped die or maybe a striped stencil. I cut the die out with white cardstock, pink and green paper and then out of white fun foam. I love using fun foam as an alternative to foam tape when it's quite a fiddly die to stick. I stuck the white card onto the foam tape using cosmic shimmer glue.
I made up a white card base just a little wider than the die and stuck my foam base straight onto that. Next I just laid and stuck in my coloured pieces in a pink, green and then leave a gap pattern.
I was just going to stick my critters and van straight on top but I'd gone for the same twister colour scheme for the Ice Cream Van and it blended into the background too much. To counteract this I used one of the circle dies from the new Simple Circle Dies to cut out a velum circle which I popped underneath this just mutes the background colours a little so your focus is on the Ice Cream Van.
Once the van was in place I popped on my critters and added my sentiment which I white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the coordinating dies. I just love how Time for Tea coordinating dies cut out the sentiment too.
I hope you like my card for today the new release is just super fun if you would like to pick any of it up in the shop or anything else you can get 10% off your order using code T4TNATALIE10
Have a great weekend and I will see you same time next week 💓

Yappy Christmas!

 Happy Wednesday!

It's DT Shabneez here and I thought I'd share a little Christmas inspiration today as once the clocks go back I always feel a little pressure to get going with my Christmas cards.

I used the Candy Stripes Slimline die, which remains a favourite of mine, and decided to only use black and white for my background and sentiment.  This was so that I could make the image from the Santa Paws set pop on the card.

I used my Chameleon pencils to colour in the image for a change as I find them easy to blend and they have lovely vibrant colours.  I die cut the image with the co-ordinating set and adhered them on to my card base.

I hope I've left you with a little inspiration and I look forward to seeing your creations on the Time for Tea Designs Friends FB page!  Don't forget 10% off anything in store using my code T4TSHABNEEZ10.

Happy Crafting!

Christmas In July Video Tutorial

Hello Vic here today. I’m sharing a video tutorial where I made two Christmas cards using the gorgeous Christmas Suprise Stamp Set along with the Candy stripes Slimline Die and the Stripes Cover Plate Die.

You can view the video tutorial here:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCn1TiNPdBx5gJoyeWs2CF0g

The first card I made was the slimline Christmas card. To start with I stamped my images for my card using the die  Christmas Suprise Stamp Set  and coloured them in with my copic markers.

I then used the Christmas Suprise Coordinating Dies to die cut the images out. I will show you in the video how these dies work as it leaves two little slits in the Christmas tree for your critter to be poking out of the tree.

I then used the cut the Candy stripes Slimline Die using some red card stock.

I have used a DL card as my card base as these dies will fit on that size card. I absolutely loved making some taller cards and the Candy stripes Slimline Die is so fun to use.
I then trimmed down a piece of Kraft card and adhered the Candy stripes  panel to my kraft piece. Once this was adhered I then used some double sided  tape to adhere these onto my DL card base. I slightly trimmed off the edge to leave a small border around the card.
Using some dark green card I heat embossed two sentiments from the Christmas Suprise Stamp Set and used white embossing powder and my heat gun to heat set the sentiment. I then trimmed the sentiment down and adhered these onto my card along with the critters. Our first card is now complete.

For my second card I made a fun shaker card using some lighter colours rather than the traditional Christmas colours. I stamped my images using the Christmas Suprise Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies. After they were coloured and die cut I then used the Stripes Cover Plate Die and die cut a piece of white card.

Using some Distress Oxide inks I then blended some soft colours onto my die cut panel. I then turned this over and using some PVA glue I adhered a piece of acetate.

I then trimmed some foam tape and adhered this all around the edges of the back of my die cut.
I then filled this up with some very small polystyrene balls.
Once my shaker part was full I added a piece of white card that I trimmed down to fit the die cut. I adhered this onto my card base.

I adhered my images using foam tape and heat embossed my sentiment using some pink card and white embossing powder.  The Christmas cards are now complete.

I hope this tutorial was helpful and you can see the exciting new release HERE. I had so much fun creating these cards and don’t forget you can save 10% off your order using the code: T4TVICKI10 at the checkout.
