Crafty Dreams

Hello and happy Friday everyone. DT Annalisa here, and today I am sharing a card featuring some older (but awesome) Time For Tea Designs goodies that are still available in the shop. Don't forget that you can save 10% off your T4T order using T4TANNALISA10 at the checkout.

Do you ever create a batch of backgrounds and not use them for weeks, months... maybe even years?! Well, I do, and this is one of those backgrounds! I created it a while ago by painting with my Distress Inks onto some watercolour cardstock, this is not something I do very often, but I really should. For the colours, I used Dried Marigold, Abandoned Coral, Picked Raspberry, Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon; I just love the beautiful and colourful background this combination created. I added some water and white paint splatters to add interest to the design.

Once the colourful panel was dry, I cut it out with a rectangle stitched nesting die and then glued it to a card base of 80 lb Neenah Desert Storm.

I used the Dream Big Sentiment Dies to die-cut the 'dream big' sentiment from some silver foil paper. I used white cardstock for the outline portion of the die and adhered them together with liquid glue.

I stamped several elements from the Crafty Cats stamp set and coloured them with my copics. I then used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I adhered everything to the card with liquid glue.

To complete the card, I stamped the 'my crafty friend' sentiment onto some white card stock and cut it out and stuck it down to the card.

I hope you like this card and would love it if you could use T4TANNALISA10 for 10% off your order the next time you purchase anything from Time For Tea Designs.

Birthday Beavers

Happy Wednesday!

It's DT Shabneez with my final blog post for the Time for Tea Designs DT.  I've had an amazing term on the Team and have made some wonderful friends on the journey.  I've loved sharing my creations and I'll continue doing so.  Please feel free to follow my blog HERE or on social media.

My final card is one I have made for my eldest son who will turn 13 in a couple of days time.  I've used my favourite die of all time - the Dream Big Sentiment Die together with the Mountain Scene Builder Dies and the Landscape Edge Standalone Dies.

I used the Beavering Away Stamp Set with the co-ordinating die set and coloured all the images in with my Chameleon pens.

After creating the scene I added a 'Happy Birthday' sentiment from the Speech Bubbles Clear Stamp set and used the co-ordinating die to cut it out.

Enjoy the rest of your week and don't forget Jo has a live colouring class tonight at 7.30pm so please sign up if you're interested.

Last chance to get 10% off anything in store using my code T4TSHABNEEZ10!
Happy Crafting!

Dream Big

This is a little reminder for anyone that needs it....Never be afraid to dream big :)
I do really love this Dream Big sentiment die.
I had a lot of fun with inks and the new Rainbow Beautiful Blender Brushes and the Cosy Sweater stencil when I was making this shaped card.
For the main card itself I used a couple of the Circle Of Love dies. Then I blended Wilted Violet, Worn Lipstick and Fossilized Amber distress inks using the Beautiful Blender Brushes before then adding in some stenciled details using the Cosy Sweater stencil and pumice stone distress oxide. To give it that last touch of sparkle and texture in put a sprinkling of Nuvo drops all over it:)
I hope it brightens up your day today.
Don't forget you can also always use my code T4TAMY10 to get 10% off your order.
Huge hugs to you all

Colourful Dreams

Hello everyone! DT Annalisa here and this evening I am sharing a bright and happy celebration card (perfect for a graduation card!) featuring the Unicorn In Training stamp set and Dream Big Sentiment Dies. I just LOVE the size and the font of this sentiment that designer Jo created!

I used my Beautiful Blender Brushes to colour a card base with Distress Oxides in the colours Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin, Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet and Mermaid Lagoon. Next, I added some water droplets and white splatters.

I die cut the Dream Big background die twice using white card stock. I then die cut out the sentiment from some Colorbok Metal Prismatic Foil Paper - I love the tiny stars that glimmer. I also used this foil to cut out some stars to add to the card.

I stamped, coloured and die cut the unicorns and other elements using my Unicorn In Training stamp and die set. These are so fun to colour!
I adhered all the elements and sentiments to the background with liquid glue and added some white lines for interest with my Gelly Roll Pen as well as some Wink of Stella for some extra shine.

I hope you enjoyed my card if you are are interested in purchasing any Time for Tea Designs products be sure to Use code T4TANNALISA10 when you visit the shop to get a 10% discount off your entire order.
