🥳 Let’s Party! 🥳

Hello Tea Timers, DT Emma here and I’m back today with this super cute birthday card.

I have used the Time for Tea Designs ‘Oops A Daisy’ digital stamp set alongside the ‘Houndstooth’ 6×6 Stencil and the ‘Let’s Party’ Large Sentiment Die.

Making the card:

To create this card I have masked off a round section and I’ve done some ink blending using the ‘Houndstooth’ 6×6 stencil with the Tattered Rose and Victorian Velvet Distress inks from Tim Holtz.

To colour my image, I printed them on to some Crafters Companion Solar White card stock. I made sure the opacity was very low so I could use the no-line technique. I then coloured them in with my Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers and fussy cut them out with my EK Success Cutter Bee Scissors.

I have used some foam tape to attach the cat to my card base and add dimension.

I have added some of the Festive Fun enamel dots for some cute interest and because I’m sooo addicted to them hehe!

To create the sentiment, I used the T4TD ‘Let’s Party’ Large Sentiment Die and cut 2 out of some plain white card stock and stacked them together for a little bit of dimension. I used some Wild Honey and Fossilised Amber distress ink to create an ombré effect.

Easter Bunny Wishes

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa! For my card today, I used the Bunny Builder Dies and the Eggstra Special Layering Stencil (now on sale) to create this adorable purple and pink Easter card.

I began by ink blending Wilted Violet Distress Ink onto purple cardstock through the Eggstra Special Layering Stencil. I applied the ink lightly with my Beautiful Blender Brush for the first layer of the eggs. Then, I used more pressure with the pattern layering stencil to create a darker shade of purple.

Next, I used a stitched rectangle die to cut out the ink-blended background and adhered it to an A2 card base using double-sided tape.

For the bunny, I die-cut white cardstock with the Bunny Builder Dies and ink-blended the die-cut elements using Hickory Smoke, Candied Apple, Worn Lipstick, Carved Pumpkin, Twisted Citron, and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks with my Beautiful Blender Brushes. After assembling the bunny with liquid glue, I added accents with a white gel pen for extra detail.

I also applied Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide to a piece of white cardstock, allowed it to dry, and then die-cut it with the Easter Wishes Large sentiment die. I cut the same sentiment from white cardstock and used liquid glue to adhere the two layers slightly offset. I added white gel pen accents to the pink layer for an additional touch. I adhered the sentiment to the card base using liquid glue.

Next, I stamped and colored two eggs from the Eggstra Special Birthday stamp set using Copics. I die-cut them with the coordinating dies and added white gel pen accents. I then used liquid glue to attach the eggs to the card base above the Easter Wishes sentiment.

Finally, I adhered the assembled bunny to the card base using 1mm double-sided foam tape. To complete the card, I added Summer Haze (light purple) and Sweet Summer (white) Designer Enamel Dots for embellishment.

Let’s Chat - I Miss You

Hey friends! It’s Safia here today sharing another fun card I made using the Let’s Chat stamp-set and dies. For my card today, I started off my stamping and coloring my images using COPIC markers.

I then pulled out some patterned paper that coordinated with each other and combined it and then glued it down to my card base.

The last thing I did for this card was the sentiment. I embossed my greeting in white on some matching blueberry card stock and then added on some embellishments. Easy peasy! I hope you have enjoyed this card. Let me know what you think in the comments!

Walrus Be Friends

Hey everyone! Design Team member Jill here with today's card! It may be spring weather in some places, but where I am it still feels like winter!

To make this card,  I took a white card panel and used the "Flirty Flowers Cover die". Even though this cover die is named Flowers, I thought it would make really cute snowflakes. Next, I ink blended the panel with Distress Oxide in "Blueprint Sketch". I attached a sheet of silver glitter cardstock to add to the winter/ snow effect.

Then, I colored in the walrus, iceberg and hat with alcohol markers and placed them on the panel. I finished it off with white embossing sentiments and snowflakes.

Thanks for stopping by!

My Main Squeeze with Colored Pencils

Hi. Design team member Koren Wiskman here. I hope that I can inspire you to create something fun with all of these awesome T4T supplies. Today I am using the Time for Tea Designs Squeeze the Day stamp set and coordinating dies to create this project.

The card size is A2 (4.25in x5.5in.) The front panel is cut to 3.25in x 4.75in. This is my favorite size card to create. I have tried so many others but this size is the one that keeps my heart happy. My card bases are typically made using a neutral gray cardstock. These two details about my cards rarely change.

Focal Image

These adorable critters are from the T4TD Squeeze the Day stamp set. Looking at this card makes me want a tropical rum drink. To color them, I wanted to play with my colored pencils. I was watching the kids color with pencils this past weekend and I wanted to play too. I used waterproof black ink to stamp my images onto heavyweight white cardstock. I used a ton of pencils to color this image and it did take me a few days. Colored pencil coloring is time consuming but worth it. I love the results.

Sentiment

I stamped the sentiment also from the T4TD Squeeze the Day stamp set in the same black ink as the images. Both the background image and the sentiment are stamped directly onto the white card panel.

Embelishments

The front image and the trio of hearts are popped up using various heights of dimensional foam tape. I love love love dimension and use it every chance I get. Do you see her little pearl earring? That is a little tiny pearl from and old sheet of various size adhesive pearls. This was the smallest size and it fit perfectly. You could also use a bead in this situation.

I hope that I've inspired you to create something today. Check out the Squeeze the Day Stamp set and coordinating dies in the T4TD shop.

Colourful Easter Wishes!

Hello Everyone!

Michelle here with my very first post. I made a fun Easter card using a mix of stamp sets -  Eggstra Special Birthday, Fruitful Friends and the Easter Wishes Large Sentiment die.

To start off, I stamped and coloured the images using alcohol markers and added white highlights. For the bunny looking over the grass, I modified this by cutting off the watermelon part and used a white gel pen to cover up any unwanted stamp lines.

For the background, I ink blended on clouds using Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide and then splattered some of the same ink mixed with a little bit of water, giving a bit of interest to the sky.

I made the grass using a grass die and ink blended Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover Distress oxides. Again, I add splatters using green and white ink.

For the Easter Wishes sentiment, I die cut it from a piece of white card that I had ink blended using Worn Lipstick, Mustard Seed and Twisted Citron Distress oxides and gold watercolour splatter to give it a subtle sparkle.

I die cut the sentiment 2 more times from more white card where one was to glued onto the back of ink blended version to provide a bit of height. For the second, this was adhered at a slight offset to give it a 3D effect. I used one of the carrot images to replace the letter ‘I’ to tie the sentiment and images together.

I am really happy with how the card turned out and it feels like I’m part of the Easter hunt too!

Happy Crafting,

Michelle

🍭 Birthday Calories Don’t Count! 🧁

Hello Tea Timers! I’m back today with a super fun slim-line card.

I have used the Time for Tea Designs Treat Yourself stamp set and coordinating dies. This set contains all the yummy, scrumtious spring & summer goodies you could need!

Time for Tea Designs

Making the card:

To create this card I have cut out a piece of Crafters Companion Solar White card and stamped my images from the T4TD ‘Treat Yourself‘ set with MFT Cement Grey ink. I then coloured them in with my Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers for that no-line look. I used the Coordinating die set to cut them out.

To create the background layers I have used 2 sheets from the T4TD ‘Sweet Summer’‘ 6×6 paper pad. I used the icecream pattern to layer the 2 pieces together until I had the size I needed and then I cut it down to complete my layer. I have cut a slim panel out of plain white card stock and used one of my stitch dies to create the edge.

I used foam tape to pop up my slim white layer. I set out each little image until I was happy with my composition and then used my small foam squares to pop them up.

For the sentiment I have stamped it onto some scrap white card, with Versafine Onyx Black ink for a crisp finish. I cut it down to size with my paper trimmer and popped it with some foam tape.

For a finishing touch I added some T4TD ‘Festive Fun’ enamel dots.

Plaid Easter Wishes

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here! April has arrived, and Easter is just around the corner! I'm excited to share a spring Easter card featuring the Easter Wishes Large sentiment die and the Eggstra Special Birthday stamp set.

To start, I trimmed a piece of the Pretty Pastels 6x6 Paper Pad to fit an A6 card base and secured it using double-sided tape.

Next, I die-cut white cardstock with the Sweet Scalloped Dies and A6 Simple Nesting Dies to create a thin scalloped frame. I attached this frame to the card base with liquid glue.

I then stamped several images from the Eggstra Special Birthday stamp set, colored them using Copics, and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I added accents with a white gel pen using a Gelly Roll Pen.

For additional elements, I die-cut vellum using the Stitched Circle Dies and Cloud Dies, adhering them to the card base with vellum adhesive.

For added dimension, I used double-sided 1mm foam tape to attach the stamped images.

I applied Gina K Designs Dusty Rose ink to a piece of white cardstock, allowing it to dry before die-cutting it with the Easter Wishes Large sentiment die. I then added white gel pen accents for an extra touch.

For more dimension, I die-cut the sentiment from white cardstock twice and adhered the layers together using liquid glue. I attached the sentiment to the card with more liquid glue.

To finish off the card, I added Summer Haze Designer Enamel Dots.

Easter Wishes - Greeting Card

Hey Friends, My name is Safia, and I am a new member of the Time For Tea Design Team group. It is such an honor to be here!

Today I am sharing my first card that I made using Time For Tea Design products. I am so in love with these products! I started off by using some blue colored cardstock and blending some darker blue ink onto it. I splattered with the same ink pad and some white acrylic paint when I was done ink blending

I then used the Geometric Snowflakes Cover Die to cut out my blue background. Once this was done, I used the Let's Chat Stampset to stamp and color in some cute critters. For this I did use Copic Markers. I then cut the Easter Wishes die twice in black and prism cardstock and layered it together to form a black shadow.

Last but not least I blended some Light Yellow ink onto my card base along with some black splatter and the glued my background peice on top using liquid glue. I also used some foam squares for my greetings and my critters.
I hope you have enjoyed this card. Let me know what you think in the comments! Have a fabulous day!

Let's Party with Splatters

Hi. My name is Koren Wiskman and I am a brand new member of the Time for Tea Designs Design Team. I hope that I can inspire you to create something cool with all of these awesome T4T supplies.

Today I am sharing an A2 size card (4.25in x5.5in.) The front panel is cut to 3.25in x 4.75in. This is my favorite size card to create. I have tried so many others but this size is the one that keeps my heart happy. My card bases are typically made using a neutral gray cardstock. I'm using the Time for Tea Designs Let's Party Sentiment Die to create this card. I should warn you, I enjoy my "white-space". My card designs can be all over the place, much like my personality. I hope you enjoy.

BACKGROUND

To create the background I used various inks to spritz, splatter, and drip some color onto the panel. Some pink, black, and gold to be specific. It is popped up using craft foam and tear tape adhesive.

SENTIMENT

The sentiment is the star of the show. The Let's Party Sentiment Die was cut out a total of four times using a tabletop die-cutting machine, and then layered together using liquid adhesive. The first three layers are thick white cardstock and the last layer is brushed rose gold metallic cardstock.

EMBELLISHMENTS

I added three gold butterflies from my stash using glue dots. My stash is large, to say the least. I need to start using some of these products that I've acquired over the years. So, YAY! I used my stash!

I hope that I've inspired you to create something today. Check out the Let's Party Sentiment Die in the T4TD shop.

💐 Happy Mother’s Day 💐

Hello Tea Timers! Happy Saturday! I’m back today with this super quick, clean and simple Mother’s day card. If you still haven’t had chance to make yours yet, then today’s inspiration can help.

Just using the Time For Tea Designs Puffy Alpha Stickers and one stamp, in my case I have used the cute little strawberry from the T4TD ‘Treat Yourself’ set, you can create this simple design.

Making the card:

To create this card I have cut out a piece of Crafters Companion Solar White card. I have used the Time For Tea Designs Puffy Alpha Stickers – ‘Watermelon margarita‘ set to create my sentiment in the centre of the card. After completing the sentiment I stamped my little strawberry, from the T4TD ‘Treat Yourself‘ set, multiple times, in a random fashion, with MFT Cement Grey ink. I then coloured them in with my Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers for that no-line look.

To create the background layers I have used one sheet from the T4TD ‘Joyful Winter‘ 6×6 paper pad. I adhered this with double sided tape, but for my main layer I popped it up on some foam tape.

SIMPLE YES! 😉

Watercolour Easter Wishes

Hello and happy last Friday in March! DT Annalisa here sharing a watercolour Easter card featuring the Mini Egg Pattern Stencil and Eggstra Special Birthday stamp set.

To create the background, I soaked the Evergreen Bough, Chipped Sapphire, and Wilted Violet Distress Watercolor Pencils in water to soften them. Then, I scribbled the colors onto the back of the Mini Egg Pattern Stencil and spritzed it with water. After pressing it onto Distress Watercolor Cardstock by Ranger, I let the stencil sit for a while before removing it and heat-setting it.

Next, I added splatters using the same watercolor pencils and adhered the panel to a card base with double-sided tape. I then glued a frame made from white cardstock that I had die-cut with the Five Windows Cover Die over the watercolor panel.

I die-cut black cardstock using the Easter Wishes Large sentiment die for the sentiment. I also die-cut the sentiment in white cardstock two additional times. I used liquid glue to stack the layers together, creating dimension. I attached the sentiment to the card base with liquid glue.

I stamped and colored several images from the Eggstra Special Birthday set using Copic markers. After cutting them out with their coordinating dies, I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. Additionally, the bird is from the Ewe Are Moovellous set.

To finish the card, I used thin 1mm double-sided foam tape to adhere the stamped elements.

Lucky To Have You as a Friend

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here! Spring is finally here, and I'm excited to share a bright mini slimline card to celebrate. I created it using the Good Luck Critters and Mini Slimline Scallop Dies.

For the sky background, I sprayed Distress Spritz in Peacock Feathers and Distress Spray Stain in Salvaged Patina onto acetate. I then sprayed water on top and pressed it onto watercolour cardstock.

For the grass, I soaked Crushed Olive and Peeled Paint Distress Watercolor Pencils in water, scribbled them onto acetate, and spritzed the acetate with water. Next, I pressed the acetate onto watercolour paper, heat-setting it and spritzing it with water as needed.

I trimmed the sky and grass sections and used liquid glue to attach them to the back of the Mini Slimline Scallop Dies, which I die-cut from white cardstock.

I added double-sided foam tape to this panel and adhered it to a 6 1/2 by 3 1/2 inch card base.

For the focal points, I stamped and coloured several images from the Good Luck Critters set using Copics, and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added accents with a white gel pen using a Gelly Roll Pen.

The flowers are from the Ewe Are The Best set, and the butterfly is from the Kitty Capers set. I used foam tape to adhere the stamped elements other than the flowers, which I used liquid glue to adhere.

Lots Of Luck Shaker

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here! Saint Patrick's Day is on Monday, so I am sharing a lucky green shaker card. It features the Lots of Luck Large Sentiment Die and Good Luck Critters stamp set from Time For Tea Designs.

I used Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn Oxide Sprays and Peacock Feathers Distress Spritz on watercolour cardstock and added shimmer black watercolour paint splatters for interest. Once the panel was dry, I cut it out using a stitched rectangle die and then die-cut into it with the Lots of Luck Large Sentiment Die, making sure to save the inner parts of the letters.

I used double-sided tape to adhere acetate to the back of the green panel. I then used liquid glue to stick the inside of the letters of the 'Lots of Luck' sentiment onto the acetate.

Using a Beautiful Blender Brush, I ink-blended Squeezed Lemonade onto a piece of yellow patterned paper from the Gorgeous Gingham 6x6' Paper Pad. I secured this to a card base with double-sided tape.

I placed sequins on the yellow patterned paper and secured the green panel on top using double-sided foam tape.

I stamped several images from the Good Luck Critters stamp set and coloured them with Copic markers. I added white gel pen accents and then die-cut the images with the coordinating dies.

Finally, I used liquid glue to stick the stamped images to the card.
