🐰 Hoppy Easter 🐰

Hello Tea Timers! Welcome back to the Time For Tea Designs blog! I hope you’ve all had a great week so far!

Today I’m sharing with you a super cute scene card, and I’m using the ‘Bunny Builder’ die set from Time For Tea Designs.

Time for Tea Designs Shop

Making the card:

To create the Bunny I cut all the pieces out of plain white card stock and used the ‘Tim Holtz Distress ink’ colours Pumice Stone to create the shadows and Spun Sugar to colour the pink areas of the bunny. I then glued them all together. To create the carrots I have cut out another piece of white card and used the Distress colours Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint for the leaves and Spiced Marmalade and Ripe Persimmon for the carrot.

To ground this sweet little critter I have used some white card and one of the the ‘A2 Layers’ die set. For the clouds and hills I have used the ‘6×6 Scene builder’ stencil alongside the Tumbled Glass, Mowed lawn and Forest Moss Distress inks. I have popped this up with some foam tape for added dimension.

For the background layer I have used a sheet of patterned paper from the ‘Pretty Pastels’ 6×6 paper pad.

For the sentiment I have taken the ‘White Velvet Alpha’ stickers and stuck them on to a thin piece of coral coloured paper and then popped this up with some foam tape.

For a finishing touch I added some T4TD ‘Festive Fun’ enamel dots.

Party Duck

Hello, and Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here. Today's project is a fun birthday card I created using the Lucky Ducks stamp set and several dies from Time For Tea Designs.

To make the background, I used alcohol inks on Yupo paper and the Tim Holtz Ink Air Blower. I combined Alcohol Blending Solution with alcohol inks in Amethyst, Indigo, and Mermaid to create a teal and purple background.

Once the background was dry, I die-cut it with the Stitched Quilted Cover Die and attached it to a card base with liquid glue.

Next, I used an Evergreen Bough watercolour pencil on watercolour paper. I soaked the pencil in water, scribbled it onto acetate, and then spritzed the acetate with water. After that, I pressed the acetate onto the watercolour paper repeatedly, heat-setting and spritzing with water as needed.

I die-cut the watercolored panel using the Stitched Circle Dies and adhered it to White Silver Neenah cardstock, which I had previously cut with the Scalloped Circle Dies. I then used double-sided foam tape to attach these pieces to the card base.

For the sentiment, I used the Let’s Party Large Sentiment Die on both White Silver Neenah and black cardstock. I layered them slightly offset with liquid glue and then adhered the sentiment to the card base.

I stamped one of the ducks from the Lucky Ducks stamp set and a balloon from the Birthday Fox stamp set. After colouring the images with Copics, I cut them out using their coordinating dies and attached them to the card base inside the circle panel with liquid glue.

To finish the card, I added silver stars that I die-cut with a small star die from my stash and included Clear Bubbles Designer Enamel Dots.

🐑 Thinking of Ewe! 🐑

Hello Tea Timers DT Emma here! As we are now in March I thought it would be nice to start the month off with a happy Spring card! Today I have created a super cute box card featuring the ‘Ewe are the Best’ stamp and coordinating die sets.

Time For Tea Designs

To colour my images, I stamped them on to Crafters Companion Solar White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them with my Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers.

To create the box card I have used an alternative die this time, but you can use your T4T ‘Box Clever’ Die Set and create a shadow style version or change it up and bit and use the hills at the top of the box to create something like mine. Very versatile!

To create the hills I have used a sheet of the green flower patterned paper from the ‘Pretty Pastels’ 6×6 paper pad. I have also used a sheet for the sky and the spots which are also from the same pad. I just love the Time for Tea paper pads! Soooo cute! ❤️

Slimline Coffee Catch Up

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here today, I’m excited to share a beautiful springtime slimline scene of friends catching up over coffee and croissants. I used the Café Critters stamp set and Skies The Limit Slimline Die from Time For Tea Designs.

First, I die-cut white cardstock using the Skies The Limit Slimline Die. Then, I ink-blended the clouds with Salvaged Patina and Stormy Sky Distress Oxide inks using my Beautiful Blender Brush. I applied Saltwater Taffy, Squeezed Lemonade, Cracked Pistachio, and Shaded Lilac Distress Oxides for the rainbow.

I used liquid glue to adhere the scene outline and inside pieces to a slimline card base.

For the background, I ink-blended Lost Shadow onto a half-inch strip of white cardstock with the Tiled Wall 6 x6" Stencil. After removing the stencil, I blended over the panel with the remaining ink on my brush to fill in the white areas with a lighter grey. I then used double-sided tape to attach the brick floor to the card base.

I stamped and coloured several images from the Café Critters set using Copics, then cut them out with their coordinating dies. To add some detail, I used a white gel pen for accents.

Additionally, I stamped the 'Hey' sentiment from the Hey There Critters set and cut it out with its coordinating die.

Finally, I used liquid glue to adhere all the stamped elements to the card.

💡 You Light up my Life! 💡

Hello Tea Timers! DT Emma here and I’m back today with another card using the ‘Let’s Spoon’ stamp set.

Time For Tea Designs

To make this card I have cut out a piece of white card, measuring US A2 size and I have stamped the small switch stamp all over the background with black and grey ink. I have also done a little bit of ink blending using the Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink from Tim Holtz and my blender brush to create a light effect.

To colour my little light bulb, I stamped him on to Crafters Companion Solor White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them with my Spectrum Noir Tri-blend markers.

I have cut out a circle of white card using the Simple Circle dies  and added my image with foam tape to the circle. I then stamped and cut out my sentiment. To make the light bulb shine I have added some Ranger Glossey Accents.

Hello Kitties

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here! Today, I'm excited to share a beautiful card featuring a watercolored background that I created using the Wonky Shapes Masking Stencil and Distress Watercolor Pencils.

To start, I soaked the Evergreen Bough and Chipped Sapphire Distress Watercolor Pencils in water. I then scribbled the colours onto the Wonky Shapes Masking Stencil and spritzed it with water. After that, I flipped the stencil over and pressed it onto Ranger Distress Watercolor Cardstock, holding it in place for several minutes.

While the stencil was pressed down, I traced the outline on one side of the stencil openings with a Victorian Velvet Distress Watercolor Pencil. I used a small paintbrush and very little water and brushed over the pigment, activating it, and spreading it out.

I lifted the stencil and heat set the panel with my Ranger Heat It craft tool. I trimmed the panel and used liquid glue to adhere it to an A2 card base.

I love the way the background turned out and will be trying this technique again!

Next, I stamped and coloured several images using Copics from the Kitty Capers, Purrfect Day (books, plants, and a cat lying down), Let's Chat (sentiment), and Home Is Where The Heart Is (telephone) stamp sets. I cut them out with their coordinating dies and added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen.

Finally, I adhered the images to the card base using liquid glue or double-sided foam tape for added dimension.

🍕 Pizza my Heart! 🍕

Hello Tea Timers, DT Emma here and I’m back today with this super sweet Valentine’s Day card.

For my card today I have used the Time for Tea Designs ‘Let’s Spoon’ stamp set and coordinating die set.

To create the love heart background I used the heart die from the ‘Be Kind Be You’ set and cut out a stencil from some scrap card. I used the colours Candied Apple and Festive Berries Distress inks to stencil the hearts all over the background.

I stamped the Pizza on to some Neenah Classic Crest card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them in with my Spectrum Noir Tri-blend markers.

For a finishing touch I added some T4TD Festive Fun enamel dots.

For the sentiment, also from the Let’s Spoon set, I stamped it with my Versafine Onyx Black ink. This ink always creates a crisp looking sentiment.

Sweet On You Shaker Slimline

Happy Valentine's Day! DT Annalisa here today and I’d like to share a slimline Valentine's Day shaker card I created using the Sweet On You and Warm Hugs stamp sets from Time For Tea Designs.

To create the background, I began with Ranger Distress Watercolor Cardstock and used Saltwater Taffy, Picked Raspberry, Tattered Rose, and Spun Sugar Distress Watercolor Pencils. I soaked the pencils in water, scribbled them onto acetate, and then spritzed the acetate with water. After that, I pressed the acetate onto the watercolour paper repeatedly, heat-setting and spritzing with water as needed. I also used Mica Spray Stains in Cocktail Party and Sugary Gumdrop.

Next, I followed the same process on another piece of watercolour paper using Salvaged Patina and Tumbled Glass Distress Watercolor Pencils. Additionally, I applied Peacock Feathers Distress Spritz, Wonderland Distress Mica Stain, and Salvaged Patina Distress Spray Stain.

I used the Slimline Scalloped Trio Circle Nesting Dies to cut out both the pink and blue panels. For the pink panel, I die-cut three hearts using one of the Heart Nesting Dies. I then glued the blue panel to a slimline card base.

To assemble the shaker element, I adhered acetate to the back of the pink hearts panel using double-sided tape. I placed 3mm double-sided tape on the back of the pink panel and attached it to the blue card panel. Before securing the pink panel, I sprinkled a mix of Candy Christmas and Mermaid Tail sequins from Pawsome Stamps in the appropriate areas.

Then, I stamped and coloured the images from the Sweet On You and Warm Hugs stamp sets using Copics. I die-cut them out with the coordinating dies and added white gel pen accents using a Gelly Roll Pen.

Finally, I used liquid glue to adhere the images and the "I'm Sweet On You" sentiment to the card. I finished by adding Glossy Accents to certain areas of the images for added dimension and shine.

📚 To my Favourite Bookworm! 📚

Hello Tea Timers! DT Emma here and today I’m sharing with you a super cute scene card. For my image I’m using the sweet little Bookworm from the ‘Book Buddies’ A6 clear stamp set. Isn’t he just the sweetest!

To colour my image, I have stamped him on to Crafters Companion Solar White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured him in with my Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers

To frame this sweet little critter I have used one of the Scalloped Circle dies alongside the Simple Circle dies to cut out the aperture. For the hills I have cut 2 other circles in white card and distressed them with Tim Holtz Distress Inks in the colours Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint.

I have used 2 sheets of patterned paper from the Pretty Pastels 6×6 paper pad (one main and one for the sky background) and some of the green enamel dots from the ‘Festive Fun’ set.

For the sentiment I have taken the ‘To my Favourite Bookworm’ also from the ‘Book Buddies’ Set and stamped it on to some white card with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Heart Shaped Valentine

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here! With Valentine's Day just around the corner, I am sharing a heart-shaped card I created with watercolour pencils and the Sweet On You stamp set from Time For Tea Designs.

I used the Heart Nesting Dies to cut watercolour cardstock. I coloured red and pink hearts, starting with the smartest and ending with the largest, with Distress Watercolour pencils.

I used the following colours of Distress Watercolour pencils: Lumberjack Plaid, Festive Berries, Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar. I added splatter using spun sugar and worn lipstick Distress Watercolour pencils.

I learned this technique from an online course by Jenn Shurkus - "Distress Techniques, Watercolour Pencils - part 2" and I love how it turned out.

I die-cut a large heart from teal cardstock and adhered it to the watercoloured heart panel with double-sided foam tape. I used a Gelly Roll Pen to add stitched lines to the teal cardstock.

Next, I stamped and used Copics to colour images from the Sweet On You stamp set. I die-cut them out with the coordinating die set. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen.

I stuck the images and sentiment to the card base using double-sided foam tape for dimension.

To complete the card, I added dots glitter with Cotton Candy Stickles and heart stickers in my stash.

🤗 Hugs Enclosed 🤗

Hello Tea Timers! Can you believe it’s the 1st February already!

Today I’m sharing with you a sweet simple card, and I’m using the cute little Squirrel from the ‘Jumping with Joy’ stamp set.

Time for Tea Designs Shop

To colour my image, I have stamped him on to Crafters Companion Solar White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured him in with my Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers

I have used a sheet of patterned paper from the Pretty Pastels 6×6 paper pad and some of the Clear Bubbles enamel dots for some cute interest. I’m sooo addicted to using these dots!

To frame this sweet little critter I have used the smaller die from the Smile Inverted Scallop Frame Dies alongside some white card stock.

For the sentiment I have taken the ‘Hugs Enclosed’ from the ‘Be Kind Be You’ Clear Stamp Set and stamped it on to some white card with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

Love Ya Lots!

Happy Friday, from DT Annalisa! I am sharing a Valentine's Day card I created using three die sets from Time For Tea Designs and Distress Water Colour Pencils.

I started by using the Stitched Quilted Cover Die and the Sweet Scalloped Dies on white cardstock to create two white panels. I adhered the stitched piece to a card base with double-sided tape.

Next, I added some splatter using Spun Sugar and Salvaged Patina Distress Watercolor Pencils, water, and a watercolour brush. I secured this splattered panel to the card base with double-sided foam tape.

For the hearts, I used the smallest heart die from the Heart Nesting Dies to cut out nine hearts from Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I coloured the hearts using the following Distress Watercolor Pencils: Spun Sugar, Saltwater Taffy, Peacock Feathers, Salvaged Patina, and Lumberjack Plaid.

For each heart, I first coloured the entire shape with one colour and then heat-set it using the Ranger Heat Tool. I layered on a second and third coat of the same colour, heat-setting in between layers.

By heat-setting throughout the process, I was able to control the water and keep the pigment in place.

Finally, I used liquid glue to adhere the hearts to the card base. I chose the 'love ya lots!' sentiment from the Brighter Days Sentiment Cards | White on Grey, attaching it with double-sided foam tape for added dimension.

Hope your day is sweet

Hello crafters,

Daisy ( DaisCreaPlace) here with my last card as a design team member of T4TD.

Unfortunately, due to new regulations, it is not possible to promote this brand properly from the EU. My adventure at T4TD was short, but I really enjoyed inspiring you with these beautiful items.

Today, one last card for you. A cheerful, sweet card. Of course, I will continue to use the T4TD items and you can find the creations on my personal account.

For the base of this card I used the Five windows cover die. I colored it with Distress Oxide ink in the colors Dried Marigold, Saltwater Taffy and Candied Apple.

Over this I used the Scattered hearts stencil.

The stamps are from the Fruitful friends set. I colored them with Copic alcohol markers.

I made the word Sweet with the Antony's alpha dies.

I wish you all lots of hobby fun!

Love Dais

Lots of Luck

 Hi Tea Timers!

So happy you're reading the Time For Tea Designs blog again! Today, DT Myrthe is back with a fun shaker card. I absolutely love the Lucky Ducks clear stamps, they’re just so cute! I colored them using my Copic markers with these combinations for the ducks: yellow Y18, 15, 13, 11 and orange YR68, 15, and 12.

For the base of the card, I used the Wonky Windows cover die. Before attaching the shaker part, I added some background color using Ranger Oxide inks. The sky turned out blue with some cute cloud shapes created with a stencil, and the grass got a fresh green shade. For the shaker elements, I picked soft colors and clear sequins, so everything blends together nicely.

Instead of using a stamped sentiment, I opted for a die-cut sentiment this time, the Lots of Luck large sentiment die. I’m so happy with how it turned out—so cheerful and fun! I’d love to know if you like it too.

Oh, and if you’re looking to grab some fun supplies from the Time For Tea Designs shop, don’t forget to use my discount code T4TMYRTHE10 for a special treat!

See you next time! Creative hugs, Myrthe

Holy Moley!

Hello my lovelies! Today I’m sharing with you a sweet simple card, and It’s featuring these cute little Moles from the ‘I Really Dig You‘ A4 Printed Cardstock Pack. Now with this set you will get these sweet little characters coloured and pre-printed on to 200gsm cardstock. They are really good quality, but don’t take my word for it, get them and see for yourself. 🙂 There are 2 A4 sheets included along with free digital stamps so you can print and colour in your own medium as often as you like. What’s not to love about that!

Time for Tea Designs Shop

To create the Sky and Mole hills in the background, I have masked them off and I’ve done some ink blending using the Tumbled Glass and Rusty Hinge Distress inks from Tim Holtz and my T4T blender brushes. Nothing to difficult, nice and simple!

As these images are Pre-coloured all I needed to do was to fussy cut them out, or you can use the coordinating dies, and then I set them out to create my cute little scene.

For the border I have cut out some plain white card with the Smile Inverted Scallop Frame Die set and popped it up on to some foam tape for a little dimension.
