Happy Wedding Day!

Hey friends! It’s Safia here today sharing a fun wedding card I made for a very close friend. Who says you can’t bring a cactus to a wedding? For this card I started off my coloring in my kitty and cactus with some COPIC markers.

I then die cut a stitched circle and added my critter and my greeting which I embossed in white embossing powder onto black cardstock.

I finished my card by layering it onto some patterned paper and die cuts and then added some dots with my black pen. I hope you love this card! Let me know what you think in the comments!

More Rain or Shine Mice

Hi. Design team member Koren Wiskman here. I hope that I can inspire you to create something fun with all of these awesome T4TD supplies. Today I am using the Rain or Shine Mice Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies to create this project.

The card size is A2 (4.25in x5.5in.) The front panel is cut to 3.25in x 4.75in. This is my favorite size card to create. I have tried so many others but this size is the one that keeps my heart happy. My card bases are typically made using a neutral gray cardstock. These two details about my cards rarely change.

Background

This card doesn't have much of a background. One of my mice is stamped and colored directly onto the background. I've also added a few "water" patches with blue watercolor paint to create the scene. The line for the ground is just a thick line made by a Copic Multiliner and a ruler.

Focal Images

My images are from the Time for Tea Designs Rain or Shine Mice Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies. All stamped using waterproof black ink onto watercolor paper. I used my collection of watercolors to paint my mice on this card. I loved doing it a few weeks ago and wanted to go back for more.

Sentiment

The "splash" sentiment was heat embossed onto coordinating cardstock using white embossing powder. It was cut out using it's coordinating die. The "make a" portion of the sentiment was stamped directly onto the watercolor paper with the same black ink.

I hope that I've inspired you to create something today. Check out the Rain or Shine Mice Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies in the T4TD shop.

Space Adventures Together

Hi! Michelle from the design team here and for this week’s post, we have two little space explorers off on an adventure using a stamp set that you wouldn’t normally think of.

Supplies used:

Rain or Shine Mice

Planets & Cheese Moon - Simple Circle Dies, Home Is Where The Heart Is

Sentiment - Adventure Awaits

I am always thinking of ways to get the most out of my stamp sets and it was actually the cute little boots the mice are wearing that gave me this idea - why not turn them into space boots?

To make the card, I stamped out the mice and added the space helmets around their heads by drawing a circle with a black finer liner. I coloured with alcohol markers and added highlights with a white gel pen.

The galaxy background was ink blended with a mix of blues and a touch of pink, and then splattered with white acrylic paint to create stars. The planets and the delicious cheese moon were made by die cutting circles out of the 'Simple Circle Dies' and then tracing the inner part of the circle die with a black finer liner before adding details and coloured.

To help build the scene, I added some soft ink blended pink clouds to ground the mice and some stars to give it the fun, whimsy feel. I kept the sentiment simple by using white heat embossing powder on black cardstock.

For finishing touches, I adhered the mice on with foam pads to give extra dimension of them floating on the clouds as well as adding glitter for the extra shimmer.

This was a really fun card to make and I hope it has inspired you to look at your stamp sets differently.

🌵 Cute Cacti Critters 🌵

Hello Tea Timers. Happy Saturday! I’m back today with a new card featuring the ‘Cacti Critters‘ stamp and coordinating die set alongside the ‘Joyful Winter‘ 6×6 paper pad.

Making the Card:

To create this card, I cut out a piece of white card and created a green water stain and some splatter using the ‘Twisted Citroen’ and ‘Mowed Lawn’ Distress inks. I then stamped my chosen sentiment at the top using versafine Onyx Black ink. I chose a sheet of the ‘Joyful Winter‘ 6×6 paper pad and used the largest of the ‘A2 Layering‘ dies to cut it out. I used double sided tape to adhere both these layers to my card base.

To colour my images, I stamped them on to Crafters Companion Solar White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them with my Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers. I cut them out with their coordinating dies and arranged them onto my card. I then added some enamel dots from the T4TD ‘Clear Bubbles’ set.

Mixed Media Art Journal Ocean Scene

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here! I've been wanting to try art journaling for a while and finally decided to take the plunge. I'm excited to share a page from my new mixed media art journal, featuring the Love Is in the Air stamp set and Slimline Porthole Dies.

In my A5 Stamperia Mixed Media Journal, I used a paintbrush along with Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans, and Peacock Feathers Distress Paint to cover the entire page. Then, I employed a sponge with white acrylic paint to create a textured white border.

Next, I applied white Embossing Paste to the page using a palette knife and the Making Waves stencil.

I stamped several images from the Love Is In the Air stamp set, colored them with Copics, and then cut them out using the coordinating dies. I added accents with a white gel pen using a Gelly Roll Pen and also included elements from the Fintastic Friends and Sealed With A Kiss stamp sets.

For the background, I used Fossilized Amber and Pumice Stone Distress Watercolor pencils on watercolor paper and splattered it with Rusty Hinge. I used the Slimline Porthole Dies to cut out three circles. Next, I ink-blended Walnut Stain Distress Ink onto woodgrain white cardstock and die-cut it using the same die set.

I also die-cut silver metallic paper to place behind the brown porthole sections. Using liquid glue, I assembled the porthole pieces and added critters to each one. Once the circles were complete, I attached them to the page with liquid glue.

Finally, I adhered the remaining stamped elements and sentiment to the page. To finish off the design, I used a white Posca pen to add bubbles above the fish.

Love our adventures together

Hey friends! It’s Safia here today sharing a fun card I made using the Adventure Awaits stamp set and dies. To start off I stamped my images and colored them using COPIC markers.

I then picked a really fun patterned paper that looks like the night sky and cut it with the rounded rectangle dies. Second largest one. For the snowy ground I used the same die to cut just a quarter size of white paper and then manually cut it in a swivel to make it look like a snowy road

To finish off my card I stamped my greeting on the snow and then glued everything down using my liquid glue. Thanks for stopping in today friends, I hope you've enjoyed this card!

Berry, Berry Sweet!

Hi. Design team member Koren Wiskman here. I hope that I can inspire you to create something fun with all of these awesome T4TD supplies. Today I am using the Fruitiful Friends and Squeeze the Day Stamp Sets and Coordinating Diesto create this project. If you follow me on social media you may remember me sharing a short video of a rather stunningly designed can of seltzer . If not, don't worry, you didn't miss anything but a well designed package. It was pale pink with pops of bright green and red. Plus, it was quite yummy to drink. Here is my card inspired by the berry vodk-arita can.

Background

I used a pale pink cardstock panel. I dripped just a bit of the green watercolor used on the rest of the images onto the background. I wanted to fill in a bit of the greenery.

Focal Images

For this card, I changed it up a bit. I stamped the images of fruit that I wanted to use from the Time for Tea Designs Fruitiful Friends and Squeeze the Day Stamp Sets. I stamped them onto watercolor paper using waterproof black ink. I then cut out my images using the Coordinating dies before coloring them. That's right, I watercolored them after they were cut out. I knew that I wanted a very abstract look much like the can I referenced above. So, to achieve this I just painted portions of the images using watercolors. I used bright green and red inspired by the can. I also added a few dots here and there.

The greenery was also cut out and then watercolored using the same colors.

Sentiment

I stamped and heat embossed the "You're Berry, Berry Sweet!" sentiment from the T4TD Fruitiful Friends Stamp set and cut it out with it's Coordinating Die.

I hope that I've inspired you to create something today. Check out the Fruitiful Friends and Squeeze the Day Stamp Set as well as the Coordinating Dies in the T4TD shop.

Supplies used:

Hey There Critters

Rounded Corner Stitched Rectangle Dies

The background has a lovely soft blend of yellow and pink with cloudy details, and I used matching colours for the big bold sentiment to tie everything together. The gingham border adds a sweet touch that makes the whole card feel extra cozy.

This card is perfect for someone who’s been on your mind. Whether it’s for encouragement, appreciation, or just to say hello, a friendly sunflower never goes out of style.

⚓️ Floating Friendships ⚓️

Hello Tea Timers. I’m back today with a new card featuring the ‘Boat Buddies’ stamp and coordinating die set alongside the T4TD ‘Rounded Corner Stitched Rectangle’ die set. I wanted to keep this card quite simple with just the images being the main focus.

Making the Card:

To create this card I cut out two pieces of white card stock. For the backgound layer I stamped the ‘anchor’ stamp all over with a light grey ink to create my own patterned paper. For the main layer I am using the ‘Rounded Corner Stitched Rectangle‘ die set. I created a water effect with some ‘Stormy Sky’ and ‘Chipped Sapphire’ Distress inks, dabbing the blender brush onto the paper rather than circular motions. For the sentiment, I chose one from the ‘Boat Buddies‘ set and stamped it with Versafine Onyx black ink.

To colour my images, I stamped them on to Crafters Companion Solar White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them with my Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers. I cut them out with their coordinating dies and arranged them onto my card with foam tape for dimension.

Ahoy! Sea You Soon

Happy Friday, Annalisa here! I wish I were on the sea like these two friends—it's one of my favourite places to be! Today's card features the Boat Buddies stamp set.

To create the card, I first inked the front of an A2 card base with Spiced Marmalade Oxide using my Beautiful Blender Brushes. Then, I painted horizontal lines on a piece of watercolour paper with blue watercolour and added white splatters for texture.

Next, I applied Spiced Marmalade Paint and Cocktail Party Mica Stain to another piece of watercolour paper. Once it dried, I used Anthony's Alpha Dies to cut out the letters "ahoy!" I also cut the same letters two more times from white cardstock and adhered them behind the orange letters with liquid glue for added dimension.

I stamped several images from the Boat Buddies stamp set, coloured them with Copic markers, and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I added accents with a white gel pen using a Gelly Roll Pen. The cloud image is from the Adventure Awaits stamp set.

Finally, I used glue and double-sided foam tape to attach the stamped elements and die-cut letters to the card base.

Calling to say..

Hey friends! Sorry for the late post today it’s summer and I’m just out on a rollercoaster with the kids and summer holidays. It’s Safia here today and I’m sharing a cute card using the Lets Chat stampset and dies.

I started off my stamping my images and coloring them in using my COPIC markers. I then found a cutout scrap on my desk and decided to use it as a stencil to color in my background with some distress oxide ink and blending brushes.

I found some paper in my stash that matched these colors perfectly and so I ended my card by arranging them as background pieces. I also matted my card on some black card stock.

I finished by adding some black dots using a marker and stamping my greeting. Thanks for visiting our blog. If you have any questions feel free to reach out in the comments!

Sea You Soon

Hi. Design team member Koren Wiskman here. I hope that I can inspire you to create something fun with all of these awesome T4TD supplies. Today I am using the Time for Tea Designs Boat Buddies Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies to create this project. My favorite place in America is Cape Lookout National Seashore in North Carolina. My parents are lucky to live only a short drive away from it. I however live 400 miles away. So, I made this card in hopes that I will see it again soon. Oh yeah, and it lights up! If you press gently on the rocks below the lighthouse, the EZ Lights will turn on.

Background

I started with a piece of heavyweight blueberry colored cardstock. I ink blended some darker blue and black ink towards the top. Clearly, Cape Lookout misses me too. It's pretty dark and gloomy there, according to my card. I punctured a square hole in the ink blended panel exactly where the lighthouse was going to sit. This is where I will mount my EZ Lights underneath. I used a ray of light stencil that I had in my stash to ink blend the light rays coming from the lighthouse.

I cut the rocks from dark gray cardstock using an abstract background die and I embossed some circles on it. After a little ink blending, it totally looks like rocks! Or at least the best I could do.

The waves were cut from a wave die using dark teal cardstock. I tried to ink blend white pigment ink on the tops of the waves but it wasn't what I was looking for. So I heat embossed some puffy white embossing powder on the tops of the waves instead.

The cloud, well, it's just a black cloud with a little white ink blending.

Focal Image

I stamped the imaged of the lighthouse from the Time for Tea Designs Boat Buddies Stamp Set using black alcohol marker friendly ink. I then added a few lines in the design to make it look more like Cape Lookout. Alcohol markers where used to color the image. I used various dimensions of foam squares to adhere everything in place onto the ink blended panel.

The Light

The battery and the light are adhered on a second panel mounted with glue dots under the ink blended panel. Strips of foam tape connect the two panels giving the battery and switch the space it needs.

Sentiment

The sentiment was heat embossed onto black cardstock using white embossing powder. I love that the sentiments have coordinating dies as well in the T4TD Boat Buddies Coordinating Dies.

I hope that I've inspired you to create something today. Check out the Boat Buddies Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies in the T4TD shop.

Thinking of You Mice

Hello Tea Timers. I’m back today with a new card featuring the ‘Rain or Shine Mice’ stamp and coordinating die set from the newest Time for Tea Designs release. I’m using this alongside the T4TD ‘Rounded Corner Stitched Rectangle’ die set and the T4TD ‘Thinking of you‘ sentiment die.

Making the Card:

To create this card I cut out two pieces of white card using the ‘Rounded Corner Stitched Rectangle‘ die set. For the ‘Thinking of You‘ sentiment I cut it out of a piece of scrap white card and then used my distress inks to create an ombre effect. I used Chipped Sapphire, Stormy Sky and Tumbled Glass. For the sentiment, I chose one from the ‘Rain or Shine Mice‘ set and stamped it with Versafine Onyx black ink.

To colour my images, I stamped them on to Crafters Companion Solar White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them with my Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers. I cut them out with their coordinating dies and arranged them onto my card with foam tape for dimension.

Thinking of You

Happy Friday from DT Annalisa! I'm excited to share a mini card featuring the adorable Rain or Shine Mice along with the Thinking of You Sentiment Die.

To create the back panel for this card, I die-cut patterned paper from the Pretty Pastels 6x6 Paper Pad using the Rounded Corner Stitched Rectangle Dies. I adhered this to a card base using liquid glue.

Next, I die-cut watercolour paper with the Rounded Corner Stitched Rectangle Dies and created a watery-looking background using Peacock Feathers Distress Ink and water. I then attached this piece to the card base with liquid glue.

For the sentiment, I die-cut paper from the Gorgeous Gingham 6x6' Paper Pad using the Thinking Of You Sentiment Die. I used vellum for the outlined portion of the sentiment and adhered the two pieces together with liquid glue before attaching them to the card base.

I stamped images from the Rain Or Shine Mice stamp set, coloured them with Copics, and cut them out using the coordinating dies. I added accents with a white gel pen using a Gelly Roll Pen. The bee is from the Fruitful Friends set, the flowers are from Ewe Are The Best, and the small bird is from Ewe Are Moovellous.

To assemble the card, I used liquid glue and double-sided foam tape to adhere the stamped elements to the card base. I finished the card with three Sweet Summer Designer Enamel Dots.
