Hello Stars

Hi. Design team member
Koren Wiskman here. I hope that I can inspire you to create something fun with all of these awesome T4T supplies. Today I am using the Time for Tea Designs Let's Chat Stamp Set along with the Stars Stitched Cover Die to create this project.

The card size is A2 (4.25in x5.5in.) The front panel is cut to 3.25in x 4.75in. This is my favorite size card to create. I have tried so many others but this size is the one that keeps my heart happy. My card bases are typically made using a neutral gray cardstock. These two details about my cards rarely change.

Background

For this card I grabbed some interesting patterned paper that coordinates colorfully. I took my 3 1/4 by 4 3/4 card panel and placed it onto the T4TD Stars Stitched Cover Die before running it through the die cutting machine. I know my panel is smaller than the die. I love how it cuts off. I find imperfect things incredibly interesting. later, I adhered the different papers behind each star to allow it to be set back from the panel using foam squares.

Sentiment

Before popping up the patterned paper, I used the T4TD Let's Chat Stamp set to add "hello" and "thank you" to my card panel. I stamped them using waterproof black ink.

I hope that I've inspired you to create something today. Check out the Let's Chat Stamp Set or the Stars Stitched Cover Die in the T4TD shop

Let's Party with Stars and Stripes

Hi. Design team member Koren Wiskman here. I hope that I can inspire you to create something fun with all of these awesome T4T supplies. Today I am using the Let's Party sentiment die and the Stars Stitched cover die to create this project.

Background

I had some scrap strips of paper in various colors that I adhered to a piece of copy paper using a tape runner. I then cut the stars from the Time for Tea Designs Stars Stitched cover die. I also cut the stars from heavy weight white cardstock. The white stars are cut in half and then popped up on the the striped stars using thin foam adhesive squares. The where added the the front card panel using various widths of adhesive foam squares.

Sentiment

The T4TD Let's Party sentiment die was cut three times using heavy weight cardstock and layered on top of a layer cut from pink paper. I offset the pink paper at the back of the stack of layered die cuts to create a shadow effect. It also helps the sentiment stand out with all of the white. I told you that I like my white space, I warned you.

Embellishments

The asterisk like pieces decorating the background are from my stash. I am really interested in using what is in my stash right now. I have so much. I want to use it, even if you can't buy it anymore.

I hope that I've inspired you to create something today. Check out the Let's Party Sentiment Die or the Starts Stitched Cover Die in the T4TD shop.

Penguin Christmas Shaker

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here sharing my last Christmas card of the year, a colourful shaker featuring the It's Penguin-ing to Look A Lot Like Christmas stamp set from Time For Tea Designs.

I started with watercolour paper and die-cut using the Stars Stitched Cover Die. Then, I sprayed the die-cut panel with Mermaid Lagoon and Uncharted Mariner Distress Spray Stain and used my Heat It craft tool by Ranger to dry it. After that, I added some shimmer by spraying the panel with Cocktail Party Mica and Merry Mint Mica.

I used White Silver Neenah cardstock to cover the entire surface of the card base. Next, using double-sided tape, I adhered acetate to the back of the inked star panel. I placed 3mm double-sided tape on the back of the panel and attached it to the card base. Before securing the star panel, I sprinkled Candy Christmas sequins mix from Pawsome Stamps in the appropriate areas.

I stamped and coloured several images from the It's Penguin-ing to Look A Lot Like Christmas set using Copics, then cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. The Christmas tree and candies are from Gingerbread Family - Our House to Yours.

To add some sparkle, I applied small dots of glue to select areas on the stamped images using my Quickie Glue Pen by Sakura and dipped them into Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter. I then secured all the stamped elements to the card using liquid glue.

For the sentiment, I stamped "Happy Christmas" from the Simple Sentiments set onto black cardstock with VersaMark ink. I sprinkled Alabaster ultra-fine embossing powder by Brutus Monroe (in white) over the stamped sentiment and heat-set it. I used a small rectangle die to cut it out.

To finish the card, I added some clear dots from Pretty Pink Posh for an extra touch.

Cheers to 2024

Happy Friday, who is ready to start 2024? DT
Annalisa here and my project today is a Happy New Year's card featuring the You’re Engaged stamp and Happy New Year Sentiment Die.

I used the Stars Stitched Cover Die to cut white heavy stock and ink-blended the cutout cardstock with black soot, chipped sapphire, prize ribbon, broken china and tumbled glass Distress Oxides.

The stars were ink-blended with mustard seed and queezed lemonade Distress Oxide. I added white splatter with a paintbrush, water and Copic opaque white. I adhered both portions of the die-cut cardstock to an A2 card base with liquid glue.

I die-cut red patterned paper with the Happy New Year Sentiment Die and ink-blended it with lumberjack plaid Distress Oxide using my Beautiful Blender Brush. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen

I added dimension by die-cutting the same die three times with white cardstock and using liquid glue to stack up the layers. I stuck the sentiment to the card with liquid blue.

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) images from You’re Engaged (car, kitties, bubbly) and Let’s Party (balloon and sentiment) and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen

I added dimension to 'Let's Party' by die-cutting the outline three times with white cardstock and using liquid glue to stack the layers. I used liquid glue to adhere to the card base.

I used liquid glue for the balloon and foam tape for the kitties in the car. I added Festive Fun Designer Enamel Dots to complete the card.
