Just Chillin!

Happy Saturday Teatimer’s the weekend has rolled around so fast! I’ve been busy playing with the new products again. I wanted to create a scrapbook feel but with the critters so created this super fun hamster selfie card with the new Memory Keeping Essential Dies. I have a whole series full of critter Polaroids planned in my head so be sure to keep an eye out for those!
To make my card I began by cutting out the Lots of Love Vertical Cover Plate Die in white and a couple of shades of red and pink. I laid the die cut onto my card base and then adhered the hearts randomly on.
Then it was time to create the selfie I cut out the die out of some Copic paper and took the inside rectangle out. I began by stamping the first hamster from the Hooray Hamster Clear Stamp Set in the middle at the bottom and then stamping it on some masking paper and fussy cutting it out. Sticking this on top makes sure that you don't get ink where you don't want it when you keep repeat stamping. I used all the hamsters and just kept inking and masking as I went. It's so satisfying when you peel the paper off and see the full image underneath.
After this was finished I coloured them up using a range of browns and greys and taped it back into the frame stamped my sentiment and adhered it to the card base.
To finish it up I cut out the lol and heart from the new die set and adhered them onto the card and that was it finished up. I love how super cute it turned out and I hope you do too! You are Elephantastic!

Hi everyone its DT member Natalie here and the weekend is here again! I'm so ready for my Saturday off. The weather is miserable so a day in and catching up on crafting and time with the boy.
I have been enjoying getting out my older sets and I finally got time to colour up the sweet elephants from the Elephantastic Clear Stamp set. Its the first time I've made a vellum shaker card and I love the soft look it gives.
To make my card I began by stamping out my elephant onto copic paper. I coloured it up using warm greys and R11 for the cheek and inside of the ears. Then R27 for the love heart with a touch of R29 for some shading. Not much colouring today which is a change for me but it was a nice change from scene cards for once.
The base of the card is made up using the new Smile Inverted Scallop frame Dies which I cut out twice using some 360gsm smooth white card stock. Using one of the inner panels I blended Dried Marigold and Kitsch Flamingo distress oxide inks. I didn't bother too much about adding texture as you cant really see it so well behind the velum. Then with the other panel I cut out I took the Lots of Love Slimline Dies and cut that out from it. This just adds some added interest in the background. I stuck the blended panel and one of the frames together at the back using double sided tape. Then layered the heart inside it using liquid glue then my base for the shaker was ready. I added fun tape around the edge of the frame and took the paper off first and then added the sequins. I find if I do it this way if I do get my fingers stuck to the tape the sequins don't bounce out and get stuck to the tape.
Once the sequins were added I just used a mix of yellows and pinks I found in my drawer I added the vellum on top. Then popped the other frame on top of that to give it that finished look.
For the sentiment I cut out the Thank You Die out of the smooth white cardstock twice and layered it together and popped it onto my card. Adding the are elephantastic underneath in white embossing with the same oxide colours blended on top. Then added my elephant and that was my card finished up.
I hope you like it and as always you can get 10% off in the shop using code T4TNATALIE10.
Have a great weekend and I will see you all next week with another super fun card to share.

Spring Blooms Mother's Day Card

Not long to go till its Mother's Day have you got your card made up? I have some inspiration for you if not using the new Spring Blooms kit. Again I love how well the Valentines release combines with this one. It's quite a quick card to make as there's no colouring involved just some simple die cutting. I kept my colours quite simple pink obviously for the hearts a little subtle lilac and a pop of contrast from some greens and yellows.
I made a card base slightly larger than the Lots of Love Horizontal Cover Plate  Die and popped some pink card on top then layered on the horizontal hearts die cut out of white. I re-cut the same die then out of pale and dark pink. The hearts were then randomly layered onto the card base there was no pattern but I tried to make it even.
The big die cut sentiment is the new Got it from my Mama die I cut out the back in the pale pink and some white fun foam and layered them together. The sentiment was cut using the out of the same darker pink card and layered on top. It cuts in several pieces but it's pretty easy to line up.
Once this was all put together I could use it to figure out the rest of the layout. I stamped the smaller sentiment from the Mum and Dad clear stamp set onto the paler pink with a pink oxide ink making sure it's dry before cutting it out with the Mum and Dad Coordinating Dies
Then it was just the flowers and fauna to cut out again using the Spring Blooms Dies I tried to balance out the colours the flowers I made opposite on each side.
Once everything was laid out how I wanted it I stuck it down with some liquid glue and that was my card finished up. I hope you like it and don't forget you can get 10% off in the shop using code T4TNATALIE10  Have a good weekend and happy crafting!

Mother's Day card using the Spring Blooms new Release

Hello and welcome to another awesome Time For Tea Designs' new release! DT Annalisa here, and today I am featuring two of the new beautiful die sets from the Spring Blooms mini-release - the Spring Blooms Die Set and Mum Sentiment Die. I also used a sentiment from the new Mum & Dad Sentiments Stamp Set and its' coordinating die. All of these elements work so well together, especially for creating soft floral mother's day cards like this one.

Not only is the new release available today, but also, the very first Paper-crafting Kit from T4T is now available! The kit is filled with so many goodies - stamp set & coordinating dies, stand-alone dies, patterned paper, envelopes, pastel cardstock, embossing powder, Stickles, Distress Ink - giving you a great opportunity to try items that you may never have used before. The kit is in very limited supply, so if you are interested, be sure to jump on this quickly to grab these items at a savings of 50% (if you were to buy these items separately).

To start, I die cut the background heart panel with the Lots of Love Horizontal Cover Plate Die from some white card stock. I adhered the main panel to a card base and then stuck all of the hearts back in place. Next, I die cut the 'mum' sentiment letters as well as all of the floral elements from coloured cardstock. I stamped the 'happy mother's day' sentiment with black ink and die cut it out with its' coordinating die.

To assemble the card, I glued the leaves down and then the flowers, some of which I popped up with some foam tape. I glued the foliage behind the 'mum' sentiment letters and its' outline and then added foam tape behind the whole piece and adhered it to the card. I used liquid glue to stick down the 'happy mother's day' text.
