Birthday Herd

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here sharing a spring birthday card I created using the Ewe are Moovellous A4 Printed Cardstock from Time For Tea Designs. These beautifully colored images, printed on high-quality cardstock, make it easy to create eye-catching cards.

I started by ink-blending Salvaged Patina Distress Ink over the Scene Builder 6x6 Stencil onto an A2 card base, then added blue ink splatter for extra interest.

Next, I die-cut white cardstock using the Wonky Window Cover Die and ink-blended it with Mowed Lawn, Peeled Paint, and Twisted Citron Distress Inks. To add texture, I splattered on Rustic Wilderness Distress Ink and Picket Fence Distress Spray Stain. I adhered this panel to the card base using liquid glue.

I then used the Ewe Are Moovellous coordinating dies dies to cut out images from the Ewe are Moovellous A4 Printed Cardstock. Using a combination of double-sided 1mm foam tape and liquid glue, I adhered the images and sentiments to the card.

To finish, I added clear Wink of Stella to the images for a subtle shimmer.

Time To Relax!

Hello Team Timers!

Michelle from the Design Team here and today’s card is all about treating yourself or someone special. This cute little spa scene felt like the perfect way to capture a relaxing moment, complete with bubbles, bath time and a happy little kitty enjoying some well deserved pampering.

Supplies used:

Queen For The Day

To start, I created a soft blue tiled background using Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide and a brick stencil to give the card that classic bathroom feel. The adorable kitty soaking in the tub is the star of the card, surrounded by lots and lots of floating bubbles and a couple of little hearts that add to the cozy spa vibe.

To bring the scene together, I added a few bath time accessories like bottles, a brush and a hand mirror along the bottom. The colourful bubbles scattered throughout the card help create movement and make the whole design feel light and cheerful.

The “Relax, pamper yourself” sentiment heat embossed onto bright pink cardstock ties everything together and makes this a perfect card to send as a little reminder to take some time for yourself.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Lots Of Luck Shaker

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here, sharing a fun green shaker card just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. For this project, I used stamps, dies, and a stencil from Time For Tea Designs.

I began by applying Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Spray over the Flirty Flowers Stencil. After carefully removing the stencil, I heat-set the ink. Next, I sprayed Twisted Citron onto the background to fill in the remaining white areas. Once that layer was dry, I finished the background with splatters of Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide.

To add texture and interest, I die-cut the green panel using the Stitched Quilted Cover Die, then cut the sentiment from the panel with the Lots of Luck Large Sentiment Die. I adhered a piece of acetate behind the sentiment opening using liquid glue to create the shaker window.

I created an A2 card base from cardstock and adhered a piece of silver dotted patterned paper so it would show through the sentiment opening. Then, I added 3mm double-sided foam tape to the back of the green panel and attached it to the card base, filling the shaker area with green, silver, and gold sequins.

The stamped images are from the Good Luck Critters, set, which I die-cut with the coordinating dies. I coloured them with Copic markers and added white gel pen accents. For extra sparkle, I applied a little Quickie Glue Pen along some edges and sprinkled on Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter.

Finally, I adhered the images to the card with liquid glue to complete the design.

Wishing You Lots of Luck!

Hello Everyone!

Michelle from the Design Team here and today’s inspiration is bursting with bright colour and a little bit of lucky charm! With rainbows, clovers and two adorable kitties!

Supplies used:

Good Luck Critters

To make the card, I started by building the background with a soft cloudy sky (Mustard Seed Distress Oxide) and bright green grassy hills (Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover Distress Oxides) to give the card a fresh outdoor feel. In the centre, I added a pot of gold with a sparkling rainbow stretching up into the sky. To make it extra festive, I scattered lots of clovers flowing out of the pot and across the scene.

The two sweet cats help bring the whole card to life. One is holding a large lucky four leaf clover while the other is dressed up with a tiny hat and bow tie, ready to celebrate the occasion. I added a little shimmer to parts of the rainbow and the clovers for a bit of magical sparkle!

The “wishing you lots of luck” sentiment heat embossed onto green cardstock finishes the card perfectly and makes it great for St Patrick’s Day or for sending someone a little extra luck and happiness.

Colourful Party

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here, and today I’m sharing a colourful birthday card I created using Distress Watercolour Pencils along with stamps and dies from Time For Tea Designs.

I started by die-cutting a piece of Distress Watercolour Paper with a stitched rectangle die to create an A2-sized panel. For the background, I used Distress Watercolour Pencils in Saltwater Taffy, Fossilized Amber, Seedless Preserves, Walnut Stain, and Wild Honey. This beautiful patterned technique is inspired by Jenn Shurkus’ Mixed Media in Season class. I learned so much from this course and highly recommend it to anyone interested in exploring mixed media techniques.

Once the background was complete, I heat-set the panel and added white splatter for extra interest and texture. I then adhered the finished watercolour panel to an A2 card base using liquid glue.

The bear is from the Birthday Bear set, and the mouse is from the Sweet On You set (the coordinating dies are still available). I stamped the images, coloured them with Copic markers, and added highlights using a white Gelly Roll pen. To give the images dimension, I adhered them to the card with 1 mm double-sided foam tape.

For the sentiment, I used the Let’s Party Large Sentiment Die to cut silver cardstock. I die-cut two additional layers from cardstock and adhered all three pieces together with liquid glue to create extra dimension before attaching the sentiment to the card.

To finish the design, I added tiny pink and white embellishments from the Lots of Love Shaker Embellishment Mix for a final touch of sparkle.

A Purrfect Spring Day!

Hello Everyone!

Michelle from the Design Team here and today I’m sharing a bright and cheerful card that feels like a little slice of springtime - with playful kitties, fluttering butterflies and a garden full of colour!

Supplies used:

Ginger Cat - Kitty Capers

Grey Cat - Love Is In The Air

Flowers - I Really Dig You

Butterflies - Cacti Critters

Fence and Tree - Ewe Are Marvellous

I built the design in layers to create that sunny outdoor feel. The lower half features a white picket fence and a vibrant flower bed packed with colourful blooms and butterflies. I added lots of bright shades to make everything feel lively and fresh, just like a real spring garden.

Up top, the sweet kitties sit on a wall enjoying the day with soft clouds in the background and a tree adding a touch of balance. The little butterflies floating around them help tie the whole card together and add a sense of movement.

The “Hope your day is purrfect” sentiment heat embossed into green cardstock finishes the card perfectly and adds a fun pun that makes it even more smile-worthy. This would be such a lovely card to send to brighten someone’s day with a bit of springtime happiness.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
