Cozy sloth card with Kaja

Hi all,

It's Kaja from Kajcyika crafts and today I am back with a cute and colorful card.

Take a look:

I started out by creating the background for which I used the Wonky background stencil along with two colors of ink - blue and green. I alternated the colors so the background looks bright and fun. To add some additional focal point, I added some blue and white splatters.

When I was doing this, I made sure that the stencil is as centered as possible, so the card will have a focal point directly in the center.

Next, I stamped and colored the cute little sloth from the brand new Warm hugs stamp set. I colored it in using alcohol markers. For the cup I used yellow and red and for the sloth I went with a simple brown marker.

I finished the coloring off, by adding some white gel pen details.

Then, I stamped out the sentiment in black ink that reads 'you warm my heart' and can be found in Warm hugs stamp set. I positioned it to the top left part of the card base.

To make sure that the sloth stands out enough, I added a piece of vellum that I tore by hand and positioned it between the ink blended background and the sloth.

I glued everything on the card base using double sided foam squares and liquid glue.

Hugs,
Kaja

Get Whale Soon

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here sharing a get well soon card featuring the Get Whale Soon stamp set and the Wonky Background Masking Stencil. I have been under the weather for the past week, so I thought it would be fitting to share this. Thankfully I am on the mend, as it is hard to be crafty when your head is congested!

I ink-blended Tumbled Glass, Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink over the Wonky Background Masking Stencil onto some white cardstock using my Beautiful Rainbow Blender Brushes. I added splatter with a paintbrush, water and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink. I also added metallic silver watercolour splatter with a paintbrush.

Once dry, I die-cut the panel with the A2 Layering dies. I used the same die set to cut grey card stock that I glued to an A2 card base. I love how these dies make it so easy to create a layered card like this without having to measure!

I stamped the images from Get Whale Soon with Lawn Fawn Jet Blank Ink and coloured them with my Copics. I added white gel pen accents and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

I stamped the 'sending you hugs' to the bottom of the ink-blended panel using Versafine Onyx Black. Next, I added double-sided foam tape to the back of the panel and stuck it down to the card base.

I used liquid glue to stick down the pills and heart to the card base for the rest, I used double-sided foam tape. I added Glossy Accents for shine and added dimension, to some of the elements. I added blue Designer Enamel Dots from the Sweet Summer Enamel Dots, to complete the card.

Happy (Almost) Valentine's Day

Hey friends! It's Amanda Fitterer here today to share with you a bullet journal planner layout!

In case you're not following me on Instagram yet, you can follow me @craftyandcreativevibes

Today, I'm sharing a Valentine's card with you!  I used the Sealed with a Kiss Stamp Set and the Wonky Background Stencil to create this super quick and fun card!

For the background, I ink blended Catherine Pooler's It's a Girl, Party Dress, and Rockin' Red inks.  Then, I spritzed it with water and let it dry.

I stamped my seals with black ink and then colored them in with OLO alcohol markers. I die cut them with the coordinating dies.  I propped my panel onto a piece of patterned paper and then adhered to my white card base.

I hope you have a Happy Valentine's day, Tea Timers!  Enjoy your weekend!  Crafty hugs!  Xx, Amanda
