Elephantastic Dad - Making Cards for Men Video Tutorial

Hi! I hope you're all having a wonderful Friday!

Jo here with a new card and video tutorial!

Be sure to watch the video below to find out how we made this card for an Elephantastic Dad!

Cards for men are notoriously hard to make, mainly because I want to make cute, pretty and more girly cards :)
I think this card is a good compromise.

I have chosen geometric shapes, bold colours and an image that is unisex!

I also got to do some pretty ink blending, add some enamel dot accents and with that my need for some girliness was fulfilled :)

This little guy is so cute too. I'm sure any dad would be happy to receive a card with his happy face on it!

I really enjoyed making this card. I hope you enjoy the video and find some inspiration to make your own masculine cards.

Fairy Garden Mini Gift Box

Hi DT Sharon here and today's project features the lovely Mini Gift Box die set and the Fairy Garden clear stamp set.

First I die cut the mini gift box die to make the complete box and then embossed it with the Magical Snowflakes stencil and a clear sparkle embossing powder.
Next I blended some distress oxide inks over the whole box and splashed a little water onto it to add some texture.
I then stamped the fairies and the elements and coloured them with alcohol pens.
I added glitter to their wings and some parts of the elements.
The sentiment was stamped onto the blended ink heart which comes as part of the gift box.
The images were adhered to the box with 3D foam pads and then I added the ribbon.

Rainbow Unicorn

Hello!
DT Anila here today.
I am sharing a simple CAS card today using the "Stay Safe Rainbow" digital image along with the Unicorns in Training stamp set.

I coloured the Rainbow image and adhered it to the card base. Stamped, coloured and die-cut the unicorn image. Foam mounted the image on the card.
Stamped the other details and the sentiment to complete the card.

All the products used will be available at Time for Tea Designs and avail extra 10% off your entire purchase across the website using my code T4TANILA10

Follow Your Dreams

Hi DT Sharon here and today I'd like to show you a card I made using lots of lovely Time For Tea products.

The unicorns are a real favourite of mine and when I saw the new clear drops embellishments I knew they'd go well together.
So first of all I made the background. I die cut the square with a die from Square Quilted nesting die set and I then stencilled the clouds using the Sunny Side Up stencil and broken china distress oxide ink. Using the Circle of Love nesting dies I created the framed circle. I stencilled the circle with the new Splish Splash stencil and the same oxide ink. I stamped and die cut the images and then coloured them with alcohol pens. I added lots of clear sparkle glitter pen to make them shine. These were adhered with 3D foam pads. I then added the gorgeous clear drops to add more detail to the card.

Elephantastic: Mixing Your Stamps Set to Create a Scene - Video Tutorial

Hi! Jo here with the second of the cards we made during our Crafting Live with Jo on Facebook Thursday.

If you missed it you can watch the full length replay on FB or your can see the edited version below.

This scene is so adorable and uses a number of elements from different stamp sets to create it.

I already had my background blended and I had the HUGS sentiment die cut from vellum & black cardstock.

These 2 elements were the inspiration for my scene.
The cute elephants from the Elephantastic set were suggested by viewers as our characters. These fun characters are back in stock so if you've been waiting to grab them check out the link below :)

Using accessories such as the little envelope from the You Snailed It stamp set is a great way to get the most out of your stash.

I hope you enjoy the video tutorial.

Hey Friend - Using Vellum: New Card Making Video

Hi everyone!! I hope you're having a great weekend.

Jo here with one of the cards we made during our last FB Live.

Please be sure to watch the edited video below if you missed it!

I had the pre-cut piece of cardstock, the vellum scalloped circle and the HEY die cut sentiment leftover from previous projects.

I loved the two vellum pieces together and the scalloped background worked well with the circle so I decide to bring them all together on this project.

The Butterflies Stamp set is so pretty and perfect for summer cards.

I added a bit of sparkle to some of the elements too just to finish.

Details of the items I used are listed below.

I hope you enjoyed todays card.

Please join us on Facebook every Thursday at 8pm for more Crafting Live shows with me and Ant :)
