Summer Gardening Scene

Happy first day of Summer 2025! DT Annalisa here and I’m excited to share a fun gardening-themed card featuring the new Cacti Critters from Time For Tea Designs. I absolutely love the bunny with his watering can!

To create the background, I sprayed Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Spray onto the Flirty Flowers Stencil and then pressed it onto watercolour paper. After removing the stencil, I spritzed the panel with water and added splatters using Mowed Lawn Distress Watercolour Pencil.

Next, I die-cut white cardstock with the Five Windows Cover Die to create a white frame, which I adhered to the green panel using liquid glue. I then attached this to a card base.

For the soil area, I used Ground Espresso, Walnut Stain, and Scorched Timber Distress Watercolour Pencils on watercolour paper. I glued a slim strip of this paper to the bottom of the largest window frame.

I stamped several images, colored them with Copic markers, and added white gel pen accents. The sets I used, along with their coordinating dies, include Cacti Critters, Boat Buddies, Hey There Critters, Fruitful Friends, Ewe Are The Best, and Ewe Are Moovellous.

Finally, I used liquid glue and double-sided foam tape to attach the images to the card base, and I added Stickles to some of them to complete the card.

Welcome Baby

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here. I am sharing a mixed-media baby card I created using the Loads of Love stamp set, the Five Windows Cover Die, and the Tiled Wall 6 x 6" Stencil from Time For Tea Designs.

For the mixed-media background, I applied Ranger Distress Crackle Paste with a palette knife through the Tiled Wall 6 x 6" Stencil onto Distress Watercolour Cardstock by Ranger. Once the paste dried, I used Distress Watercolour Pencils in the colours Speckled Egg, Broken China, Weathered Wood, and Stormy Sky. I dipped the pencils in water to soften the pigment and then used them to apply colour to the paper.

After the panel dried, I adhered it to a card base using liquid glue. I die-cut white cardstock with the Five Windows Cover Die and attached it to the card as well.

For the floor area, I ink-blended Lost Shadow and Weathered Wood onto woodgrain cardstock. I trimmed this paper to fit inside the largest opening and secured it with liquid glue.

Next, I stamped multiple images from the Loads of Love stamp set and cut them out using the coordinating dies. I colored the images with Copics and added accents with a white gel pen.

To finish the card, I used liquid glue and various thicknesses of double-sided foam tape to adhere the images to the card base. I added the 'baby' sentiment using Watermelon Margarita Puffy Alpha Stickers.

I hope you like it!

Watercolour Easter Wishes

Hello and happy last Friday in March! DT Annalisa here sharing a watercolour Easter card featuring the Mini Egg Pattern Stencil and Eggstra Special Birthday stamp set.

To create the background, I soaked the Evergreen Bough, Chipped Sapphire, and Wilted Violet Distress Watercolor Pencils in water to soften them. Then, I scribbled the colors onto the back of the Mini Egg Pattern Stencil and spritzed it with water. After pressing it onto Distress Watercolor Cardstock by Ranger, I let the stencil sit for a while before removing it and heat-setting it.

Next, I added splatters using the same watercolor pencils and adhered the panel to a card base with double-sided tape. I then glued a frame made from white cardstock that I had die-cut with the Five Windows Cover Die over the watercolor panel.

I die-cut black cardstock using the Easter Wishes Large sentiment die for the sentiment. I also die-cut the sentiment in white cardstock two additional times. I used liquid glue to stack the layers together, creating dimension. I attached the sentiment to the card base with liquid glue.

I stamped and colored several images from the Eggstra Special Birthday set using Copic markers. After cutting them out with their coordinating dies, I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. Additionally, the bird is from the Ewe Are Moovellous set.

To finish the card, I used thin 1mm double-sided foam tape to adhere the stamped elements.

Have A Mice Cheesemas - NEW RELEASE

Happy New Release Day! DT Annalisa here, and I’m excited to share my first Christmas card of the year, featuring the brand new adorable Merry Cheesemas stamp set from Time For Tea Designs.

I sprayed Weathered Wood Distress Oxide Spray through the Tiled Wall 6 x6" Stencil onto watercolour cardstock and then pressed it onto watercolour paper using my fingers. I soaked up the excess liquid with a paper towel and set the panel aside for another project.

Next, I lightly sprayed the inked stencil with water and pressed it onto a 5 3/4 inch by 4 1/8 inch watercolour panel. After heat setting it with my Heat It Craft Tool by Tim Holtz, I sprayed it with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Spray and heat set it again. I then adhered this panel to a card base using liquid glue.

I die-cut white cardstock with the Five Windows Cover Die and used double-sided tape to attach the frame to the card base.

I stamped and coloured several images from the 'Merry Cheesemas' stamp set and coloured them with my Copics. I used my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e to cut out the images. The bell and Christmas stocking came from the 'Santa's Nice' stamp set, while the small heart is from the 'Seasons Tweetings' set.

To add some sparkle, I applied a Quickie Glue Pen along the edges of some images and sprinkled on Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter.

I adhered the images to the card base using liquid glue or double-sided foam tape for added dimension.

Finally, I trimmed the sentiments using the smallest dies from the A2 Layers Die set and attached them to the card with double-sided foam tape.

Bookshelf Bookmark

Hello, DT Annalisa here. I love finding creative ways to use my supplies beyond their intended purposes. For my bookmark project, I did just that with the Five Windows Cover Die.

First, I die-cut white cardstock using the Stitched Quilted Cover Die. Then, I placed the Bookmark Dies diagonally over this panel and ran it through my die-cutting machine again, which left me with a beautiful quilted pattern on my bookmark.

Next, I ink-blended Squeezed Lemonade and Scattered Straw Distress Oxides onto the bookmark using my Beautiful Blender Brushes. I used Black Soot Distress Oxide and some masking tape to create the floor area.

I also ink-blended a Neenah Desert Storm cardstock with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide and die-cut it with the Five Windows Cover Die. I only used three of the four small boxes and trimmed off the larger rectangular area, creating a bookshelf for my bookmark.

I attached the bookshelf to the bookmark using double-sided tape.

After that, I stamped and coloured images from three stamp sets - Purrfect Day, Sweet Cart Critters, and Book Buddies - and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents using a Gelly Roll Pen. I also stamped the "one more chapter" sentiment and cut it out with its coordinating die.

Finally, I used liquid glue to attach all the elements to the bookmark and tied a decorative ribbon in the opening at the top to complete the project.

Thank You Berry Much Sweet Friend

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here sharing my second card that features the new release. I used the Five Windows Cover Die; a terrific stand-alone die with many possibilities! I also used two of the latest fruit-themed stamp sets.

I made an A6 card base out of heavy white card stock. I blended wild honey Distress Oxide ink onto the card base through the Dancing Dandelions 6 x6″ Stencil, once I removed the stencil, I ink-blended squeezed lemonade Distress Oxide with my Beautiful Blender Brush. I added splatter with a paintbrush, water and squeezed lemonade Distress Ink.

I die-cut the Five Windows Cover Die from white card stock and used double-sided tape to stick it down to the card base.

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) several images from Fruitful Friends and Squeeze the Day and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen.

The sentiments are from Fruitful Friends and I die-cut them with their coordinating dies. I used 1mm double-sided foam tape to stick most elements to the card base. I used liquid glue to stick down the cherries and the large strawberry.
