Christmas Tweetings

Happy last Friday before Christmas! DT Annalisa here and I want to share my favourite Christmas card of the year featuring two adorable birds from the Seasons Tweetings stamp set visiting a lovely Christmas market.

I applied Evergreen Bough and Peacock Feathers Distress Paint to my glass mat and sprayed it with water to create the background panel. I then smooshed a piece of Distress Watercolor cardstock into the paint and heat-set it with my heat tool. I repeated this process a few times for added texture.

Next, I applied Weathered Wood Distress Oxide Spray to the panel, followed by white splatters made with acrylic paint, water, and a paintbrush. Once the panel was dry, I used double-sided tape to adhere it to a card base.

I die-cut several shapes from Distress Watercolor cardstock using the Open The Door Holiday Add-On Die Set. For colouring, I used Distress Watercolor Pencils, water, and a paintbrush to colour the trees (Evergreen Bough, Mowed Lawn), wreaths (Rustic Wilderness, Mowed Lawn), bows, lights, and pots (Picked Raspberry). I added white splatters to the trees and wreaths for additional detail.

I used silver and silver glitter cardstock for the stars, circles, and Christmas ornaments. I assembled the trees, wreaths, and lights, securing them to the card with liquid glue and double-sided tape. To enhance the design, I added a thin strip of patterned paper from the Winter Wonderland Paper Pad 6x6" to the top and bottom of the pots.

I stamped the two birds from Seasons Tweetings, cut them out with my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e, coloured them with Copic markers, and added highlights with a white gel pen.

Finally, I stamped two sentiments, fussy cut the word "tweetings," and used the smallest rectangle from the Simple Slimline Nesting Dies to cut out "Christmas." I attached these to the card base using double-sided foam tape. To complete the card, I added a white frame that I die-cut with the Smile Inverted Scallop Frame Dies.

You're Always On My Nice List

Happy Friday from DT Annalisa! I’m excited to share a fun Christmas card featuring the new stamp set, Santa’s Nice List, along with beautiful patterned paper from Time For Tea Designs.

I die-cut a 5 1/8-inch square of striped paper from the Winter Wonderland Paper Pad (6x6") using the Simple Square Nesting Dies. I adhered this square to a card base with double-sided tape.

Next, I trimmed another piece of patterned paper from the same paper pad using the Scalloped Circle Dies. I then ink-blended it with Lumberjack Plaid Distress Oxide, using my Midi Beautiful Blender Brush.

I used the Stitched Circle Dies to die-cut a lovely design from the Winter Wonderland Paper Pad for the background scene. I attached this background to the scalloped patterned paper panel with a tape runner. I used 1 mm double-sided foam tape to give the card some dimension to adhere both pieces of patterned paper to the card base.

I stamped the trees and heart from Seasons Tweetings, along with Santa and his reindeer from Santa’s Nice List. After colouring them with my Copic markers and adding accents with a white gel pen, I cut them out using my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e.

Using liquid glue, I attached the stamped elements to the card. I took the smallest die from the Simple Slimline Nesting Dies to trim around the sentiment and glued it onto the card as well.

I added Designer Enamel Dots from the Festive Fun and Clear Bubbles sets to complete the card.

Good Food, Good Friends, Good Times

It's Amanda here!

Did you see that there's a NEW RELEASE coming tomorrow?!  I am so excited about this whole release!  You're going to LOVE it!  There's a brand new little critter friend that I am obsessed with!!  I'll be back next Thursday with a card showcasing this adorable little guy!

For now, though, I get to share the classic Baked with More Love Stamp Set in this lovely card!  Do you love the layout of this card?  I love the peeking black and white stripes, don't you?!

I've also used the Winter Wonderland Paper Pad for this card.  I know, I know, it's not a winter card!  But this pink striped paper is just gorgeous on ANY card!

For my background, I'm using the Tiled Wall Stencil.

For my sentiments, I stamped them on black cardstock with Wow! Embossing Glue and then applied white embossing powder.  I love that Time for Tea Designs sentiments come with their own coordinating dies!  I cut these out using those dies and LOOK how perfect!  Ahh!

I colored my little cute critters in with alcohol markers and then added highlights and dots with a white Gelly Roll pen.

I used 3D foam tape to prop up my tiled wall.  I glued my pink patterned paper and black and white stripe paper directly to my white A2 card base.  I used 3D foam squares to adhere my stamped images and sentiments.  I added a few enamel dots as a finishing touch!

That's all for me today, friends!  I can't wait for you to see the whole new release tomorrow!  Have fun going gaga over the goodies!!
Xx, Amanda

Birthday Penguins

Hello everyone, DT Annalisa here today! For my card, I am sharing a winter birthday card that features the adorable It's Penguin-ing to Look A Lot Like Christmas stamp set. I love using this set to create not only Christmas cards but winter cards as well.

I used the Waves Cover Die to cut some patterned paper from the  Winter Wonderland Paper Pad 6x6". I used double-sided tape to adhere the resulting slopes down to a 4-by-5 3/4 inch card base, to which I added some stitched lines using a rectangle stitched die.

I stamped the 'it's your Birthday' sentiment from Beach Buds and cut it out with the coordinating die set.

I stamped and Copic-coloured the penguins and igloo from the It's Penguin-ing to Look A Lot Like Christmas stamp set. I die-cut them using the coordinating dies and then added white gel pen accents and Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter (I used a Quickie Glue Pen to adhere the glitter).

Christmas tags with Digis

DT Annalisa here sharing my last T4T project of 2022, some Christmas tags I created using the Digital Tag Collection. These images are so adorable; I am particularly fond of Santa. I love his smile and waving hand.

I decreased the size of the digis to 70% in Photoshop, and they fit perfectly inside the tag die from the Memory Keeping Essential Dies. I used the tag-die on some patterned paper from the Winter Wonderland Paper Pad 6x6" and some other paper from my stash. I love how this die-set also has the dies to create the tag hole and supporting pieces.

I used my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e to cut out around the frames surrounding the tag digis and then coloured them with my Copics. I added white gel pen accents using my Gelly Roll Pen.

I used foam tape to adhere the images to the tags after gluing down snowflakes that I cut with dies from the Falalala Scalloped Slimline Dies. I stardust added Stickles and some twine to the Santa tag and left the others plain.

I enjoyed creating and sharing my various T4T projects throughout the year. Many thanks for reading and following along with my creations this year. I am looking forward to sharing more in 2023.
