Thinking Of You Sloths

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here, and today I'm sharing a thinking-of-you card for someone going through a hard time. It features a sweet sloth stamp set, a frame die set, and a stencil from T4T.

To begin, I ink-blended Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink through the Scene Builder 6x6 Stencil using a blending brush. I then added splatters with the same Distress Oxide Ink to create extra dimension and interest in the background. Once it was dry, I adhered the sky panel to an A2 card base with liquid glue.

Next, I used the Smile Inverted Scallop Frame Dies to die-cut a frame from white cardstock. I adhered the frame to the card base with liquid glue, leaving a small section free of adhesive where the focal images would be placed so I could tuck them underneath the frame.

I stamped the images from the Be Slothy Clear Stamp Set and die-cut them using the coordinating die set. After colouring them with Copic markers, I added highlights with a white gel pen before adhering them to the card with liquid glue.

To finish the card, I stamped a "thinking of you" sentiment and added three red die-cut hearts for a simple pop of colour.

Make a Splash

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here, and I’m excited to share another card featuring products from the new release. I created this vibrant card using the Rain Or Shine Mice and the coordinating dies!

To make the background panel, I used a raindrop stencil from my stash, watercolour paper, and Distress watercolour pencils. I began by adding water to the tip of my Stormy Sky Distress watercolour pencil, then I scribbled it onto the back of the stencil. After spritzing the stencil with water, I pressed it firmly onto the watercolour paper. Next, I colored inside the raindrop areas with the Salvaged Patina Distress watercolour pencil. To finish the background, I added splatters using the Stormy Sky watercolour pencil over the entire panel.

I adhered the completed background to a card base with double-sided tape and added a frame using the Smile Inverted Scallop Frame Dies, attaching it with liquid glue.

Next, I stamped several images from the Rain Or Shine Mice stamp set, colored them with Copics, and cut them out using the coordinating dies. I also added accents with a white gel pen using a Gelly Roll Pen. For additional elements, I stamped clouds from the Adventure Awaits and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

Finally, I used liquid glue to adhere the stamped images to the card and spelled out the word "splash" with Pineapple Daiquiri Puffy Alpha Stickers to complete the design.

Christmas Tweetings

Happy last Friday before Christmas! DT Annalisa here and I want to share my favourite Christmas card of the year featuring two adorable birds from the Seasons Tweetings stamp set visiting a lovely Christmas market.

I applied Evergreen Bough and Peacock Feathers Distress Paint to my glass mat and sprayed it with water to create the background panel. I then smooshed a piece of Distress Watercolor cardstock into the paint and heat-set it with my heat tool. I repeated this process a few times for added texture.

Next, I applied Weathered Wood Distress Oxide Spray to the panel, followed by white splatters made with acrylic paint, water, and a paintbrush. Once the panel was dry, I used double-sided tape to adhere it to a card base.

I die-cut several shapes from Distress Watercolor cardstock using the Open The Door Holiday Add-On Die Set. For colouring, I used Distress Watercolor Pencils, water, and a paintbrush to colour the trees (Evergreen Bough, Mowed Lawn), wreaths (Rustic Wilderness, Mowed Lawn), bows, lights, and pots (Picked Raspberry). I added white splatters to the trees and wreaths for additional detail.

I used silver and silver glitter cardstock for the stars, circles, and Christmas ornaments. I assembled the trees, wreaths, and lights, securing them to the card with liquid glue and double-sided tape. To enhance the design, I added a thin strip of patterned paper from the Winter Wonderland Paper Pad 6x6" to the top and bottom of the pots.

I stamped the two birds from Seasons Tweetings, cut them out with my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e, coloured them with Copic markers, and added highlights with a white gel pen.

Finally, I stamped two sentiments, fussy cut the word "tweetings," and used the smallest rectangle from the Simple Slimline Nesting Dies to cut out "Christmas." I attached these to the card base using double-sided foam tape. To complete the card, I added a white frame that I die-cut with the Smile Inverted Scallop Frame Dies.

Spooky In Pink

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here, sharing a cute ghost Halloween card that features the Too Cute To Spook sentiment dies and  Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection. I love the size of this sentiment die.

For my project, I used non-traditional colours and ink-blended spun sugar, kitsch flamingo and picked raspberry Distress Oxide inks over a piece of the Halloween 2022 Digital Paper Collection. I added black soot Distress Ink along the edges of the paper to darken it up. I trimmed the patterned paper to 4 1/8 inches by 5 3/4 inches and used double-sided tape to adhere it to a white card base.

I used the Smile Inverted Scallop Frame Dies and the Too Cute To Spook sentiment die to die-cut dark blue card stock. Once die-cut, I sprayed the die-cut blue cardstock with Distress Mica Stain in Shiny Bauble to add shimmer. I love the shimmer and shine you can see in the right light.

Next, I stamped and coloured (with Copics) the ghost Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. The leaves, acorn and pine cone are from Jumping With Joy and Stinkin’ Cute – these sets are great for all your fall cards. I used my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e to cut the images out.

I adhered the images, sentiment and vellum outline to the card base using liquid glue or double-sided foam tape for dimension.

Just married

Hey there Tea-timer friends...

DT Ashlee here today to share some inspiration using another set from the brand new Time for Tea designs release!!

This card uses these T4T products :

To create this card I started with a piece of blue card stock for my card base. I then die cut some pieces of card to use for the road and grassy hills. The hills I added some ink blending and ink splatters to using CPD inks. I layered all those pieces together and adhered them using foam tape so I could have different depths of dimension to the scene that I could add the elements into. Using some grey card stock I die cut the frame and adhered that to complete the base!

Using the Just married set I stamped, coloured and die cut a whole bunch of the images. These were all coloured using Spectrum noir tri-blend markers. I added a touch of white highlights and then put all the pieces in place....

To finish the card off I added the just married sentiment and a touch of sequins adhered using glue dots.

I love how this little scene turned out, do you?! This new set is so sweet and fun to create with thats for sure....

Thanks for stopping by the blog today, I hope it inspired you to make a card too! Happy crafting, hugs Ashlee.

Penguin JOY

 Hey there Tea-timer friends...

DT Ashlee here today sharing a new card I made using the "It's penguin-ing to look a lot like Christmas" stamp and co-rdinating die set from the latest Time for Tea designs release....

To create this card I started with a white card base that I added a snowy mountain scene to using the "Mountain scene builder die". I then framed the scene by adding a die cut "Smile inverted scallop frame" die cut from grey cardstock...

Using the "JOY stitched sentiment die" I added the sentiment to the scene.

Three penguins were stamped, coloured and die cut along with some little accessories for them then adhered onto the card using foam tape creating a fun festive scene!!

The images were all coloured using Spectrum noir tri-blend alcohol markers...

To complete the card I added some T4T "clear bubbles enamel dots"...
These enamel dots are so cool, they just add that little something extra!!

What do you think of this card, I think the penguins look like they are having a great time don't you?!

Thanks for stopping by the blog today I hope you enjoyed the new inspiration.

Happy crafting, hugs Ashlee.

YIPPEE, we knew you could do it!

 Hey there Tea-timers...

DT Ashlee here, Who's ready for some new inspiration featuring the Hooray hamster set?!

These little guys are so cute and super duper fun so I thought they would be perfect for a celebration card!!

I used these T4T products for this card :

To create this card I started with a grey card stock base that I inked some stars onto using the movie star stencil and Simon Hurley ink in the shade WOOF.

I then added an inverted scallop frame die cut from a gorgeous teal/blue shade of card stock and mounted it onto the inked background using foam tape.

The word YIPPEE was die cut using Anthony's alphas from yellow card stock and then die cut from black card stock so that it could be adhered together slightly offset creating a shadow. I adhered these to the card base with foam tape also, I love the dimension using foam tape gives to a card!!

A sub sentiment was stamped underneath the Yippee...

The wide frame was die cut from the same teal/blue card stock and adhered on an angle. I stamped, coloured and die cut the wheel and two hamsters before adding white highlights and adhering them to the card...

It was all completed with a touch of yellow sequins!!

What do you think about this card? I really hope the receiver is happy with it...

Thanks for checking out my post today, Happy crafting.
Hugs Ashlee.

Happy Thursday, Tea Timers!  It's Amanda here!  Today, I am showing you Part 2 of my 2 for 1 Cards!
If you missed Part 1, you can see it here!
If you remember last week, I started with one sheet from the Pawsome Rainbows Paper Pad and the Stitched Window Cover Die.

For Part 2, I'm using the inside pieces of the frame! On a piece of white cardstock, I  used the Movie Star Stencil and Buttercream ink.
I'm also taking the "smile" sentiment from the Smile Inverted Scallop Frame Dies.  For my other sentiment, I am using the Brighter Days Sentiment Cards.

I've stamped my images from the Hey There Critters Stamp Set and colored them with OLO Markers.  I've also die cut them with the coordinating dies.

Lastly, I've propped up my papers and images with 3D foam squares!

Here are both cards together:

I hope you loved seeing these 2 cards being put together!
See you back here next week!
