Sweet Days Shaker

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here
sharing a sweet pastel shaker card I created using several Time For Tea Designs supplies. I love the fun and beauty of a cute shaker card!

I ink-blended salvaged patina and peacock feathers Distress Oxides onto white cardstock using my Beautiful Rainbow Blender Brushes. I added white splatter with a paintbrush, water and Copic opaque white and then die-cut this panel with the Sweet Scalloped Dies. I created a card base from white cardstock and adhered the panel down to it with double-sided tape.

I ink-blended shaded lilac, kitsch flamingo and spun sugar Distress Oxides onto white cardstock over the Scattered Hearts Stencil. I removed the stencil and ink-blended the same colours with a lighter hand and with the left-over ink on my brushes.

I added white splatter with a paintbrush, water and Copic opaque white and then die-cut this panel with the Sweet Scalloped Dies. I then used Heart Nesting Dies to create an opening for the shaker and adhered acetate to the back with double-sided tape.

I added two layers of double-sided foam tape to the back of the smaller scalloped panel. I poured Candy Christmas Sequin Mix from Pawsome Stamps onto the teal card base and then stuck down the pink panel to contain the shaker elements.

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) several images from Sweet On You and Warm Hugs and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. The sentiment is from Sweet Cart Critters and I cut it out with the coordinating die set.

I adhered the images to the card base using liquid glue to complete the card.

you GUAC my world!

Hello Tea Timers!

It's Miki here and today I'm back with new inspiration using the new release. I am in love with the Let's spoon stamp & die collection, partially because I love avocados, partially for the sassy sentiments hehe!

For today's card I also have a reel so please make sure to head over to the T4TD Instagram page to see each step.

To start with, I ink blended an 3.75" x 5" panel in Kitsch Flamingo and used a stencil with the Picked Raspberry oxide for a tone on tone effect. I then used the nesting hearts dies and cut one of the hearts 5 times from white cardstock. I ink blended the same stencil design on one of the hearts in Kitsch Flamingo and glued them together for added dimension.

Next I stamped the avocados, coloured them in and used the matching dies to cut them. I also embossed the you GUAC my world sentiment in white embossing powder and cut it out using the sentiment die. I so appreciate that the matching dies also cut out the sentiments, makes such a huge difference! I added the images and the sentiment to my heart using foam tape and glued them to the panel.

I used a corner rounder on the bottom right and top left corners of both my panel and the card base for added detail. I then added the panel to my card base using foam tape and lastly I added some white highlights to my avocados.

This card was super easy to make and so much fun, I hope you give it a go too!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you next week. If you shop on the T4TD website, please remember to use the code T4TMIKI10 for 10% off your order!

Let's Have Coffee!

Hi friends!

Welcome back to the blog. It's Miki here and today I have a new T4TD card to share with you. Do you remember my card from last week? I used the die cut heart from that panel to create today's project and I hope you like it.

You can go back to last week's post to find out how I made that stenciled panel, link here.

For today's card I took the Boho Tiles Stencil and dry embossed an A2 card panel. I then cut it down to 3.75'' x 5'' and glued it on an A2 card base, leaving a white border around. I then used the nested heart die to cut it from white cardstock 3 times. I glued them together at the back of my stenciled heart to add some dimension and glued it to my embossed panel towards the top.

Next, I used the All Occasions Critters and stamped the little guy with the donut. I coloured him in using my Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers, die cut him using the matching die and added some white highlights. I thought he'd need a coffee so I decided to add a coffee sentiment. I stamped the let's sentiment from the all occasions critters set and embossed it in WOW! Opaque Bright White and cut it using a matching die. I then created some coloured cardstock - I took a scrap piece of paper and added some Kitsch Flamingo distress oxide on top. I used the Coffee sentiment die and die cut the word coffee in pink and then 2 more times from white. I glued them together for added dimension. I then die cut the shadow from vellum and glued my sentiment on top.

I added the critter and sentiment strip to my panel using foam tape and glued the word coffee in between. To finish off the card I added some sequins from the Spring Garden mix from Lucy's Little Things.

I hope you like today's card, I love the critter and I think it goes really well with the sentiment. If you shop on the T4TD website, please remember to use my code T4TMIKI10 for 10% off your whole order.

Sending Paper Hugs Shaker Card

Hello tea timers!

It's Miki here and today I'm back with some new inspiration for Time For Tea Designs. It's been a while since I made a shaker so that's what I'm sharing with you today.

To start with, I cut a panel to 3.75'' x 5''. I used the Boho Tiles Stencil with a couple Distress Oxides create my background. These are the colours that I went for:

  • Kitsch Flamingo
  • Fossilized Amber
  • Twisted Citron

  • Next, I took one of the nesting heart dies and cut it from the middle of my panel - or as close to it as I could hehe. I love this set and I've already used it for more projects which I'll share with you soon. I saved the die cut heart for another project and used the panel to create the shaker. I added foam tape on the back of it, filled it with some Lucy's Little Embellishments sequins and glued it to an A2 card base, leaving a white border around it.

I then stamped one of the critters from the Happy Mail set, coloured him in with my Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers and used the matching die to cut him. I then added some white highlights and added him to my shaker card using foam tape.

I used the Sending and Paper Hugs sentiments in the same set and embossed them in WOW! Opaque Bright White Regular embossing powder on black cardstock and cut them to size. I added those to my shaker using foam tape for added dimension.

I hope you like today's card, I really enjoyed making something different after months of creating Christmas cards and using some of my all time favorite T4T stamp set.
