Halloween Trio

Happy Halloween! 🎃 DT Annalisa here, and today I’m sharing my fourth and final handmade Halloween card of the season! This project features a bright alcohol ink background and the adorable Spooky Circle Tags from Time For Tea Designs.

To create the background, I used Ranger alcohol inks, Yupo paper, Ranger blending solution, 99% isopropyl alcohol, and the Tim Holtz Ink Air Blower. The colours I went with are Ranger Indigo, Flamingo, and Amethyst.

Once the Yupo paper was dry, I die-cut it using the Sweet Scalloped Dies and attached it to a card base with liquid glue.

Next, I coloured the Spooky Circle Tags and candy images with Copic markers, then added a few white gel pen accents for extra pop. The stars are from Santa’s Nice List, and the sentiment comes from the Haunted House stamp set. I adhered all the elements with liquid glue.

For a touch of sparkle, I used a Quickie Glue Pen along the edges of a few images and sprinkled on some Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter. ✨

Simply The Zest

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here! I am sharing a bright, fruit-themed card featuring Fruitful Friends and Squeeze the Day from Time For Tea Designs. Summer is the perfect time to enjoy delicious, fresh fruit! 🍓🍋🍉

I grabbed the Sweet Scalloped Dies to cut out some patterned paper from the Sweet Summer 6x6' Paper Pad, then used double-sided tape to attach it to my card base.

Next, I cut a panel from red and green patterned paper with the Rounded Corner Stitched Rectangle Dies. I ink-blended Abandoned Coral and Twisted Citron Distress Ink with my Beautiful Blender Brushes. I used a watercolour brush and some water to add Festive Berries and Mowed Lawn Distress Watercolour Pencil splatter. I added white splatter with a paintbrush and Picket Fence Distress Spray Stain. Once this was dry, I used double-sided tape to attach it to my card base.

I stamped several images from the Fruitful Friends and Squeeze the Day stamp sets, coloured them with Copics, and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. The worm with glasses is from Book Buddies, the sun and clouds are from Rain Or Shine Mice, and the flowers are from Ewe Are The Best.

I stuck the images to the card base using liquid glue or double-sided foam tape for dimension and added several Sweet Summer Designer Enamel Dots to complete the card.

Purple Let's Party

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here! I'm excited to share a colourful purple party card I created using several Time For Tea Designs stamp sets and Ranger alcohol inks.

To create the background, I used a variety of alcohol inks, Ranger blending solution, 99% isopropyl alcohol, and an alcohol ink applicator with a felt tip on Yupo paper. The colours I chose are Ranger Indigo, Glamingo, and Amethyst.

I die-cut this panel using the Sweet Scalloped Dies and adhered it to a card base with liquid glue.

For the sentiment, I die-cut the Let’s Party Large Sentiment Die once from silver glitter cardstock and twice from white cardstock. I glued these layers with liquid glue to add dimension before attaching them to the card base.

Next, I die-cut a circle from white cardstock with the Stitched Circle Dies and ink-blended it using Speckled Egg and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide for the sky section. I added splatter using Speckled Egg Distress Watercolour Pencil mixed with water and applied it with a watercolour brush.

I ink-blended with Lost Shadow for the ground section and added splatter using Pumice Stone Watercolour Pencil. I then die-cut vellum with the Scalloped Circle Dies and glued it to the ink-blended circle before attaching it to the card base.

I stamped images from the Birthday Fox, Let’s Party and Lucky Ducks, coloured them with Copics, and cut them out using their coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents for extra detail.

Finally, I used thin double-sided foam tape to adhere the images to the card and finished it off with Summer Haze Designer Enamel Dots.

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here and I'm excited to share a card I created using the Oops a Daisy stamp set from Time For Tea Designs. This adorable set features kitties and flowers, two of my absolute favourites!

I started by ink-blending Kitsch Flamingo onto white cardstock, which I then die-cut using the Sweet Scalloped Dies. To add some texture, I applied white splatters using Picket Fence Distress Spray Stain before attaching the panel to a card base with double-sided tape.

Next, I trimmed patterned paper from the Joyful Winter Paper Pad to fit within the stitched lines on the pink panel and secured it with double-sided tape.

For the heart design, I die-cut Ranger Distress Watercolour Cardstock with the Heart Nesting Dies. To add colour, I used Saltwater Taffy, Picked Raspberry, Tattered Rose, and Spun Sugar Distress Watercolour Pencils. I soaked the pencils in water, scribbled the colours onto acetate, and then spritzed the acetate with water. After that, I pressed the acetate onto the watercolour paper repeatedly, heat-setting and spritzing with water as needed. I also incorporated Mica Spray Stains in Cocktail Party and Sugary Gumdrop for extra shimmer.

Using liquid glue, I adhered the heart to the card base.

I then stamped images from three stamp sets: Oops a Daisy,  Fruitful Friends and Squeeze the Day. I colored these images with Copic markers and added accents with a white gel pen.

Finally, I used liquid glue to attach the stamped elements and sentiment, completing the card.

Hi. Design team member Koren Wiskman here. I hope that I can inspire you to create something fun with all of these awesome T4T supplies. Today I am using the Time for Tea Designs Fruitiful Friends Stamp Set and Coordinating Die Set to create this project. I've also used the T4TD Sweet Scalloped Dies. Enjoy. 

The card size is A2 (4.25in x5.5in.) The front panel is cut to 3.25in x 4.75in. This is my favorite size card to create. I have tried so many others but this size is the one that keeps my heart happy. My card bases are typically made using a neutral gray cardstock. These two details about my cards rarely change. 

Background 

I used some red gingham patterned paper to make a picnic table like background using the Time for Tea Designs Sweet Scalloped Dies to create the shape. Then I cut the scalloped heart charm in that same set to use as my "mouse home". I ink blended a few clouds and some green at the base. The table cloth piece is popped up using foam adhesive onto the base. 

Sentiment 

I stamped the Sentiment from the T4TD Fruitiful Friends Stamp Set directly onto the base panel using waterproof black ink. 

Focal Image

These images were colored using alcohol markers. I'm finding that many of my alcohol based markers are drying up. Coloring with them is fun but paying for them is not. I also used a gray colored pencil to add in some shadows. 

Embellishments

The ivy twine is from my stash, as well as the small black enamel dots. This is the first time using that twine on a card I'm not sure if I like it or not. It's cute though.

Ewe Are the Best Spring Card

Hello and happy Friday from DT Annalisa! Today, I’m excited to share a beautiful spring scene featuring the Ewe Are The Best stamp set from Time For Tea Designs.

I started by die-cutting some white Distress White Heavy cardstock from Ranger using the Sweet Scalloped Dies. Then, I ink-blended Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide using a Beautiful Blender Brush through a cloud stencil. I added splatters of Stormy Sky Distress Oxide and water by flicking a wet paintbrush.

Next, I ink-blended another piece of Distress White Heavy cardstock with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink using a blender brush. I also created splatters on this panel using water and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide. After that, I die-cut this panel with a grass die and again used the Sweet Scalloped Dies.

I glued the grass section to the sky panel with liquid glue and then attached both to a card base.

For the focal images, I stamped images from the Ewe Are The Best, Ewe Are Moovellous and Oops a Daisy stamp sets, then cut them out using their coordinating dies. I colored the images with Copic markers and added accents with a white gel pen.

I used liquid glue and double-sided foam tape to adhere the images and sentiment to the card. Finally, I added some sparkle to various elements on the card using a Wink of Stella brush.

Plaid Easter Wishes

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here! April has arrived, and Easter is just around the corner! I'm excited to share a spring Easter card featuring the Easter Wishes Large sentiment die and the Eggstra Special Birthday stamp set.

To start, I trimmed a piece of the Pretty Pastels 6x6 Paper Pad to fit an A6 card base and secured it using double-sided tape.

Next, I die-cut white cardstock with the Sweet Scalloped Dies and A6 Simple Nesting Dies to create a thin scalloped frame. I attached this frame to the card base with liquid glue.

I then stamped several images from the Eggstra Special Birthday stamp set, colored them using Copics, and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I added accents with a white gel pen using a Gelly Roll Pen.

For additional elements, I die-cut vellum using the Stitched Circle Dies and Cloud Dies, adhering them to the card base with vellum adhesive.

For added dimension, I used double-sided 1mm foam tape to attach the stamped images.

I applied Gina K Designs Dusty Rose ink to a piece of white cardstock, allowing it to dry before die-cutting it with the Easter Wishes Large sentiment die. I then added white gel pen accents for an extra touch.

For more dimension, I die-cut the sentiment from white cardstock twice and adhered the layers together using liquid glue. I attached the sentiment to the card with more liquid glue.

To finish off the card, I added Summer Haze Designer Enamel Dots.

Happy Friday, from DT Annalisa! I am sharing a Valentine's Day card I created using three die sets from Time For Tea Designs and Distress Water Colour Pencils.

I started by using the Stitched Quilted Cover Die and the Sweet Scalloped Dies on white cardstock to create two white panels. I adhered the stitched piece to a card base with double-sided tape.

Next, I added some splatter using Spun Sugar and Salvaged Patina Distress Watercolor Pencils, water, and a watercolour brush. I secured this splattered panel to the card base with double-sided foam tape.

For the hearts, I used the smallest heart die from the Heart Nesting Dies to cut out nine hearts from Distress Watercolor Cardstock. I coloured the hearts using the following Distress Watercolor Pencils: Spun Sugar, Saltwater Taffy, Peacock Feathers, Salvaged Patina, and Lumberjack Plaid.

For each heart, I first coloured the entire shape with one colour and then heat-set it using the Ranger Heat Tool. I layered on a second and third coat of the same colour, heat-setting in between layers.

By heat-setting throughout the process, I was able to control the water and keep the pigment in place.

Finally, I used liquid glue to adhere the hearts to the card base. I chose the 'love ya lots!' sentiment from the Brighter Days Sentiment Cards | White on Grey, attaching it with double-sided foam tape for added dimension.

Dies Only Coffee Card

Happy Friday, everyone! DT Annalisa here and I’m excited to share a card I created using only dies from Time For Tea Designs. While I typically prefer using stamps, I think these four die sets are terrific, and I wanted to make a card featuring them.

I added several drops of Dried Marigold Distress Paint onto my glass mat and sprayed it with water. I then pressed watercolour cardstock into the paint multiple times to create a vibrant orange background. After heat-setting the panel, I added Carved Pumpkin and Lumberjack Plaid Distress Oxide Spray.

Once the panel was dry, I die-cut it using the Snow Flurry Cover Die and adhered it to a panel of black cardstock that I had die-cut with the Sweet Scalloped Dies using liquid glue.

For the sentiment, I applied Salvaged Patina Distress Spray Stain to watercolour cardstock, heat-set it, and then die-cut it with the Warm Hugs Large Sentiment Die. I also die-cut the sentiment from White Silver metallic cardstock by Neenah. I used liquid glue to adhere the two die-cut sentiments with a slight offset before attaching them to the card base.

Next, I used the Takeout Coffee Cup Dies to cut the elements from watercolour cardstock and coloured them with Distress Oxides, inks, and sprays. Below are the colours I used for each part of the coffee cup:

- Milk Foam: Tea Dye Oxide Spray and Ink

- Coffee Cup Base: Lost Shadow Distress Oxide Spray and Hickory
Smoke Distress Ink

- Sleeve: Tea Dye Oxide Spray

- Heart: Salvaged Patina Distress Spray Stain

- Cup Lid: Lost Shadow Distress Oxide

I assembled the coffee cups with liquid glue and attached them to the card beneath the 'Warm Hugs' sentiment.

I added three Designer Enamel Dots from the Sweet Summer collection, to complete the card.

Caffeinated Hugs

DT Annalisa here, happy first day of November! The days are getting cooler and shorter, and many of us need caffeine to help keep us energized. For me, an afternoon cappuccino does the trick!

I created a card using the Stitched Quilted Cover Die to die-cut teal cardstock. I then inked it with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide using my Beautiful Blender Brush and adhered it to a card base with double-sided tape.

Next, I ink-blended another piece of teal cardstock and used the Hey, Hello, Hi Dies to die-cut the word “hi.” I also die-cut “hi” from black cardstock and glued the two pieces together, slightly offset, to create a shadow effect.

After that, I die-cut some Distress White Heavy Cardstock by Ranger using the Sweet Scalloped Dies. I applied tea dye through the  Coffee Beans 6 x6" stencil, and after removing the stencil, I used the leftover ink on my brush to fill in the white areas of the cardstock. I then ink-blended the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide and added a spritz of Tea Dye Distress Oxide spray.

I used double-sided tape to attach the coffee bean panel to the card base and applied liquid glue to secure the letters "hi" to the card.

Next, I stamped and coloured several images from the Warm Hugs set with Copics, then cut them out using their coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. Additionally, I stamped the sentiment "sending warm hugs in a mug" and die-cut it using its corresponding die. I adhered the images to the card base using either liquid glue or double-sided foam tape for added dimension.

I added three Designer Enamel Dots from the Summer Haze collection to complete the card.

Lime All Yours - New Release!

Happy new release day! I am sharing my first card featuring the latest stamp and die sets from Time For Tea Designs! I used two new stamp sets and two new dies for today's card. I LOVE this new release; it is perfect for all your summer cards!

For the background panel, I ink blended squeezed lemonade Distress Ink onto white cardstock that I had die-cut using the Sweet Scalloped Dies. I added mustard seed Distress Oxide splatter with a paintbrush and water.

I used the second-largest die in the  A6 Simple Nesting Dies to die-cut purple patterned paper to 5 and 5/16 inches by 3 and 5/8 inches. I glued this down to an A6 card base with double-sided tape.

I used double-sided tape to stick the scalloped panel to the card base.

I added twisted citron Distress Paint on my glass mat and sprayed it with water. Next, I pressed watercolour cardstock into the paint multiple times to create a background. I die-cut the letters 'lime' from this background with Anthony's Alpha Dies.

I die-cut a small scalloped circle from the same lime green panel using the brand-new Scalloped Circle Dies. I die-cut a small circle using the new Simple Stitched Circle dies and ink blended it with squeezed lemonade Distress Ink. These two nesting die-sets will be a valuable addition to your die collection!

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) the bunny from the new 'Fruitful Friends' stamp set and the limes (lemons or oranges - depending on how you colour them!) from 'Squeeze The Day' and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen.

I used liquid glue to stick the stitched circle to the scalloped circle and then double-sided tape to stick them down to the card base. I used liquid glue to stick the stamped elements to the circle.

I used slim double-sided tape to stick the letters to the card base and the 'all yours' sentiment.

I die-cut the purple patterned paper with the Flirty Flowers Cover Die and used three heart cut-outs on the card.  

I added three beautiful lime enamel dots from the Sweet Summer Designer Enamel Dots to complete the card.
