Celebrating A New Home

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here, today’s card is perfect for celebrating someone who has recently purchased a new home. I still remember when my husband and I bought our first home over 20 years ago; it was such an exciting milestone, but also a little scary!

To create the card, I adhered blue cardstock to a 5¾" × 4⅛" card base using liquid glue. Next, I die-cut a frame using the Stitched Window Cover Die and adhered it to the front of the card with liquid glue.

I stamped several images from the Sweet Village Stamp Set and cut them out using the coordinating dies. After colouring the images with Copic markers, I added white gel pen accents for extra detail and dimension before adhering them to the card with liquid glue. This is one of my all-time favourite T4T stamp sets! I absolutely adore the sweet little trees, treats, cat, and dog; they add so much charm to this delightful village scene.

To finish the card, I die-cut the sentiment from black cardstock using the New Home Sentiment Die Set. After adding a few white gel pen highlights, I adhered the letters and heart to the card with liquid glue for a clean, finished look.

New home

Hey there Tea-timer friends...

DT Ashlee here, I hope you are all well and getting in lots of crafty time!

Today I'm sharing a new card using just die cuts, yep I didn't use any stamps on this card just a range of Time for Tea designs dies....

I used these T4T products for this card....

To create the card I die cut the base using the wide stitched frame dies and a piece of light grey cardstock. I then die cut the open door pieces and adhered them all together. I added a little bit of brown inking around the edge of the door. This was then added to the card base using foam tape to start adding dimension. I die cut steps from a darker grey card and adhered those with foam tape too....

I die cut all the sentiment layers from different colours of cardstock and adhered those over the door using foam tape. To complete the card I added a touch of pretty pink sequins!

I like how this card turned out with using just dies, how about you challenge yourself and make one too?!

Thanks for checking out my card, I hope you liked it! Until next post happy crafting, hugs Ashlee.

Welcome to the Neighbourhood

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here, my Time For Tea Designs project is a card that would be perfect to welcome someone new to the neighbourhood. These adorable houses from Sweet Village are so fun to colour; I love the tiny elements in the stamp set (bushes, sweets, coffee and ice cream).

I created a slimline card base (8.5 by 3.5 inches) and used the Concord & 9th inks Aqua Sky and Sprout to ink blend on the sky and grass with my Beautiful Rainbow Blender Brushes. I used a cloud stencil in my stash for the sky and used low tack tape to mask it while I ink-blended the grass.

I added splatter in both colours using a paintbrush and some water for added interest.

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) several images from the Sweet Village stamp set and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen.

The small grouping of flowers, birds and the bee are from the stamp sets Just MarriedLove Is In the Air and Oops a Daisy respectively.

I adhered the images to the card base using liquid glue or double-sided foam tape for dimension.

The congrats sentiment is from You’re Engaged I stamped and die-cut it with its coordinating die.

I used the New Home Sentiment Dies to cut into black cardstock. I used foam tape to adhere the letters to the card. I added white gel pen accents to all the letters with a Gelly Roll Pen.

New Home

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here sharing a card for someone who has just purchased a new home! The Sweet Village stamp and coordinating die set were perfect for this card. I LOVE the tiny kitty and bushes in this set.

I glued the cloudy sky-patterned paper from the Brighter Days 6x6' Paper Pad to an A6 card base. I die-cut the frame using the Stitched Window Cover Die and used double-sided foam tape to stick this down to the card base.

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) several images from the Sweet Village stamp set and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. The bow on one of the houses is from Santa Paws Clear Stamp Set (retired - but you could use any small bow here), I used the coordinating dies after I coloured it pink.

I die-cut the New Home Sentiment Dies into patterned paper in my stash and the frame from vellum. I glued the letters onto the vellum and used double-sided foam tape to stick this to the base of the card.

I used liquid glue to adhere the remaining stamped elements to the card to complete it.

New Home A2 card

Hi Tea Timers!

How are you enjoying the new release? I had a blast making the samples and I can't wait to share all my projects with you!

Today I'm taking you through how I made this New Home A2 card.

For my background I used the Sweet Summer and Joyful Winter paper pads. They are super versatile and work in many combinations. I went for the wood effect for the wall paper and a stripy one for the floor. I mounted the pattern paper on an A2 card base, leaving a thin white border all around.

Next, I stamped the couch, lamp and window from Home is where the heart is stamp set and coloured them in. I used the matching dies to cut them and added some white highlights. I added them to my card base using foam tape.

For the sentiment I used the New Home Sentiment Die and cut the shadow in white card stock. For the sentiment I used a yellow cardstock and die cut it 3 times. I glued them together and then used the negative from the sentiment die to help me glue them on the shadow in the right places.

I glued the sentiment at the top of the card and used a white gel pen to add some extra details.

I hope you like today's card and I can't wait to see what you create with the new release. If you've not had a chance to get your hands on any of the new products yet there's still time and I also have a 10% discount code - T4TMIKI10.

Until next week!

Hugs,

Miki
