Happy Birthday

It's the weekend! For my card today, I am sharing how I created this cute and simple birthday card using the Darling Daffodils stamp set and the I Really Dig You stamp set. I started with a 3.75 inch by 5 inch piece of solar white neenah cardstock and lined up the Darling Daffodils stamp in my misti to sit close to the bottom of the scene. I stamped this with black alcohol marker friendly ink and coloured them in with copic markers and also stamped and coloured the two butterflies just above the flowers.

I stamped the butterflies again on masking paper and fussy cut them out, placing the masking over the stamped image I ink blended some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink around the edge of my background piece making sure I didn't go over my stamped daffodils.

I then cut a length of green coloured cardstock using the grassy border from the Landscape Edge Die set and ink blended some Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide to create dimension and adhered this to the bottom of my background piece cutting off any excess.

I stamped and coloured the mole sticking his head out of the ground and adhered him to the bottom of my scene, popping him up with foam squares. I backed the whole card on a 4.25inch by 5.5inch kraft card base.
I hope you all love this card as much as I do! Thank you for reading my blog post, you can use my discount code T4TEMMA10 when you visit the Time for Tea Designs shop to get 10% off your order.

Easter Wishes

Happy Friday, crafty friends! DT Annalisa here sharing a spring Easter scene I created using dies, stamps and stencils from the new release. I absolutely love the little bunny holding the little chick, so adorable!

I used the Square Label Dies to cut out a piece of patterned paper from the Pastel Basics Digital Printable Papers. I used another smaller die in the same set to die-cut white cardstock. I ink-blended Shaded Lilack, Kitsche Flamingo and Spun Sugar Distress Oxides over the Mini Egg Pattern Stencil using my Beautiful Rainbow Blender Brushes. I added white splatter with a paintbrush, water and Copic opaque white.

I die-cut a white fence using the Fenced In Dies and used liquid glue to adhere it to the inked panel.

I stamped the bunny, chick and eggs from the Eggstra Special Birthday stamp set. The butterfly, flower and bee are from I Really Dig You. I stamped and Copic coloured all the images and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen

I used the large Easter Wishes Large sentiment die for the sentiment. I coloured it using Aqua Sky ink from Concord & 9th. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. I die-cut the sentiment two more times and adhered them all together with liquid glue.

I used liquid glue to adhere the sentiment and stamped images to the inked panel. I used double-sided foam tape to adhere this down to the card base that I covered with patterned paper.

Eggstra Special Easter Wishes

Hi crafty friends!!  It's Amanda here sharing an EGGSTRA special Easter card!  Only a few more days until Easter!  I don't know about you, but I am definitely ready for Spring and warmer weather!

To create this cheery Easter card, I started by creating my rainbow background using the NEW Eggstra Special Layering Stencil and did some ink blending.

Next, I stamped my cuties from the new Eggstra Special Birthday stamp set.  I colored them with alcohol markers and then die cut them out with the coordinating dies.

I used the Easter Wishes Large Sentiment Die to cut out my sentiment on black cardstock.  I added highlights with a white gel pen.

The last step is to prop everything up on my background with 3D foam squares!

Thank you so much for stopping by the Time for Tea Designs blog today!  I hope you have an absolutely fantastic Easter!  Crafty Hugs, Amanda

Thinking of EWE!

 Hey there Tea-timers...

It's DT Ashlee here with some more card inspiration using some of the fabulous new goodies from the latest release at T4T!

I used these Time for Tea designs products for this one :

To create this card I started with a piece of green card stock that I die cut the cover die from. I then added some ink blending and splatters to it to create a bit of interest.

I added a piece of blue card stock behind the green base so that it filled in the windows to look like sky. A die cut fence and a sentiment completed the base ready for the coloured images...

I stamped, coloured and die cut a whole bunch of the cute sheep and trees from the Ewe are the best set and adhered them onto the card using foam tape...

All images were coloured using Spectrum noir tri-blend markers!

Of course for my finishing touch I added a few sequins adhered using micro glue dots....

I'm totally loving this sweet new set, the little sheep are just too cute!! What do you think?! I hope you enjoyed my card today. Happy crafting, hugs Ashlee.

Skating By Penguins

Hi friends and welcome back to the blog.

DT Miriam here and I am delighted to be here for my first design team post for Time For Tea Designs. Where better to start my design team journey than with a Christmas card, it's never too early to make Christmas cards, right? Today it's all about penguins and snow ball fights, so lets get started.....

I started the card by creating a card base from hot pink cardstock to measure 4.25 x 5.5 inches. I then trimmed a piece of white card to be slightly smaller than the card base.

On the white panel I stamped out three images from the Skating By Penguins stamp set  - the ice skating penguin, the penguin throwing the snowballs and the penguin furthest to the right. Now for once of my favourite crafting things to do - masking!! I made masks for these three images, popped them into place and moved on to stamping the rest of the images. I removed the masks and everything was ready to colour.

To colour the images I chose to use Copic markers. Today I have used the following colours:

Yellows - Y000, Y00

Teals - BG49, BG45, BG01

Reds - R30, R85, R83, R81

Blues - B60, B0000, B000

Oranges - YR07, YR04, YR02

Purples - BV29, BV25, BV23

Greys - C3, C2, C1

Once the colouring was finished I drew in a few snow drifts and moved onto the background. I ink blended Distress Oxide inks - Tumbled Glass, Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire. I then used the grey Copic markers to create trees and branches over the ink blending. I drew lots of vertical lines and flicking lines off on angles. This does not need to be perfect at all, as the next step with cover an errors!

I mixed some white gouache with a tiny amount of water and flicked it all over the panel to create a snow effect. Once it was dry, I applied another layer of flicking, then filled in any gaps with white gel pen.

I then glued the panel to the card base. I stamped a sentiment onto hot pink cardstock with white pigment ink. Added white embossing powder and heat set until melted. I trimmed the sentiment and popped into place on the card with foam tape.

That completes the card for today. I hope you love the card as much as I do and that you may be inspired the get started on your Christmas cards. Don't forget to visit the Time For Tea Designs shop and use my code T4TMIRI10 for 10% discount.

Thanks again for visiting today x

Happy (Early) Easter!

Hi Tea Timers and welcome back to the blog! With Easter coming up soon, I am showcasing the new Eggstra Special Birthday stamp set and the new Eggstra Special Layering Stencil. Both pair so well with each other, can help you create super cute cards just in time for Easter and are currently on sale!

Sets used:
(dies available here)

I first took a piece of cardstock and blended the first layer of the stencil, the egg shaped part. The layering stencils are so help as it shows you which part is the the top part. I blended it with Saltwater Taffy, Scattered Straw, Twisted Citron and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxides. I then took the second layer and used Worn Lipstick, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn and Peacock Feather to add the details onto the egg. With the help of the A2 Panel die, I die cut out my background and set it to the side.

I then stamped out my 2 bunnies and fussy cut them out. I used E00, E31, E33, E35, E37 Copic Markers to color the bunnies.

With the alphabet dies, I cut out the phrase "Happy Easter" but made sure not to cut out the A's as I wanted the bunnies to replace them. I then heat embossed the rest of my sentiment onto purple cardstock making sure to mask off the letter N in the sentiment.

To complete my card, I spaced out how I wanted the letters and images to go. When I was satisfied with how it looked, I glued it down with liquid adhesive.

I hope you enjoyed this post today and will feel inspired to create your Easter cards if you haven't done so yet. Head to the shop for the sale on these sets and use the code T4TRANDY10 at checkout for some savings!
