Warm hugs!

 Hey Tea-timers...

DT Ashlee with you today sharing some T4T inspiration this time using the new warm hugs stamp set along with the warm hugs large sentiment die!

To create this card I started with a teal blue card stock that I added stencilling too using the movie star stencil. I then die cut the warm hugs sentiment twice. Once from black card and once from white that I had added some inking too so that it had a faded out colour look. These were then adhered together with liquid glue and stuck in place on the card base using foam tape....

I stamped, coloured and die cut the images from the warm hugs set before adhering to the card using varying levels of foam tape. These were all coloured using Spectrum noir tri-blend markers with added white pen highlights.

To complete the card a touch of pretty sequins....

Thanks for checking out my card today, I hope you enjoyed it! Happy crafting, hugs Ashlee.

What's poppin'

Hello hello everyone!

Ilona poppin' in to show you my latest card with one of my favorite treats: popcorn! I used the sweet cart critters clear stamp set together with some cute critters from the movie night clear stamp set. I thought the sleeping sloth would look absolutely adorable on top of the cart!

So I started by stamping the images and running them through my Scan 'n cut machine. Took my beloved Copic markers to give them some color and added highlights with a white gelpen. Drew the popcorn inside of the cart by hand with a Sakura micron pen.

To create a poppin' sentiment, I used Anthony's Alpha dies and die cut them out of red cardstock and again out of black cardstock. Adhered the black letters to the back of the red letters with just a millimeter difference, to create 'shade'. It makes the letters POP! Then I used black cardstock and white embossing powder with a stamped sentiment from the sweet card critters stamp set to finish the sentence.

The background didn't take too long to create. I die-cut an A6 panel from light blue cardstock and added stars using the Movie Star 6x6" Stencil and Salvaged Patina distress oxide. Trimmed a small black strip as a 'floor' and adhered it on top of the blue starred panel.

With the help of foam tape I adhered all my critters, the cart, popcorn and sentiment onto the card. And last but certainly not least, added a couple of bright yellow stars!

I hope you like this fun card as much as I do!

DIY Donut Frame: "You're So Sweet!"

Hi Tea Timers, welcome back to the blog. For this blog post, I wanted to mix one of the new sets with one of the older sets. I really like the image of the critter with the donut in the Warm Hugs stamp set and wanted to create a donut centric card.

Sets used:

(stamp and die bundle available here)
We Go Together Coordinating die set available here

I first stamped out my image of the critter with the donut and used the coordinating die set to cut it out. I then used Copic Markers to color the image.

With the donut image, I stamped it out 16 times and fussy cut them out. I then used Copic Markers to color them as well. I decided on using 4 total color combos for my donuts.

To create my frame, I took an A2 Panel and die cut out the middle using a rectangle die. I then adhered my donuts all around the frame and trimmed off any excess pieces.

Then took another A2 panel and blended the Confetti Stencil with  stencil Worn Lipstick, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn and Peacock Feathers.

With the sentiment, I heat embossed it onto aqua cardstock and then die cut it out with the coordinating die set. To assemble my card, I adhered my frame with liquid adhesive onto the background. I then adhered my image and sentiment using foam tape.

All of the items I used are linked above. If you purchase any items, don't forget to use the code T4TRANDY10 at checkout. Happy crafting!

Sweet ATC

Hello with a new project from DT Fabiola with the super sweet new release of the ATC Coin.

It was used Sweet On You Clear Stamp Set and Simple Circle Dies .

After having stamped and colored the chosen stamps with the alcohol markers and die-cut with the coordinated set, circles were die-cut as the basis for the ATC Coins and smaller circles to simulate the sweets for an ATC, i.e. the little mouse with the jar of candy

These last circles were also colored with markers.  Then chocolate bars were recreated using squares to match the subject of the cat with the chocolate bar.

The final result is very sweet for these mini cards.

I hope it inspires you and see you next time,
Fabiola

Cozy sloth card with Kaja

Hi all,

It's Kaja from Kajcyika crafts and today I am back with a cute and colorful card.

Take a look:

I started out by creating the background for which I used the Wonky background stencil along with two colors of ink - blue and green. I alternated the colors so the background looks bright and fun. To add some additional focal point, I added some blue and white splatters.

When I was doing this, I made sure that the stencil is as centered as possible, so the card will have a focal point directly in the center.

Next, I stamped and colored the cute little sloth from the brand new Warm hugs stamp set. I colored it in using alcohol markers. For the cup I used yellow and red and for the sloth I went with a simple brown marker.

I finished the coloring off, by adding some white gel pen details.

Then, I stamped out the sentiment in black ink that reads 'you warm my heart' and can be found in Warm hugs stamp set. I positioned it to the top left part of the card base.

To make sure that the sloth stands out enough, I added a piece of vellum that I tore by hand and positioned it between the ink blended background and the sloth.

I glued everything on the card base using double sided foam squares and liquid glue.

Hugs,
Kaja

Full moon mole party

Hi time for tea-ers. It is Debby here and this beautiful Friday I want to show you another handmade card. I mix and matched a few Time for tea products, with as end result this slimline mole party scenery.

I knew right away when I saw the peeking mole from the “I really dig you” stampset that I wanted created this card.

After coloring all the stamps, with my copic markers, I rolled them to my Bigshot and gave the moles some highlights. I also gave the glasses some sparkle with “Wink of Stella”. I put the stamps aside and started with the base of the card. Therefore I needed three pieces of white cardstock which I all cut with my embossing machine in a slimline shape.  Two of those I run to my machine again, with a grass and hill die.  With distress ink I gave these two some color( I mentioned all colors below)

For the background I mask a circle with masking tape and after I placed this on the white slimline I blended some different colors distress into the paper. After I was happy about the night sky I removed the circle and placed the negative mask and gave the moon with distress ink a bright color.

I gave everything some watersplashes and after that was completely dry I put the card together. I finished the card with the “Hey Hello Hi sentiment die set” and the sentiment “it is Your birthday”.

I hope you like it and until next week.

X Debby

Colourful Easter Wishes

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here sharing a colourful Easter card using several Time For Tea Designs products. I love the colourful giant eggs featured on this card.

I used the Simple Square Nesting Dies to die-cut Neenah Metallic cardstock for the back panel, which I glued onto a 5 and 1/4-inch white cardstock base. I used the same simple square nesting dies to cut a 4 and 7/8-inch inner square panel that I ink-blended squeezed lemonade, tumbled glass and kitsch flamingo Distress Oxide over a cloud stencil using my Beautiful Blender Brushes. I added white splatter with a paintbrush, water and Copic opaque white, picked raspberry and peacock feathers Distress Oxide.

I used twisted citron, mowed lawn and rustic wilderness Distress Oxide for the grass.

I die-cut watercolour paper with the Eggstra Special Slimline Add-On Horizontal Die and used the large egg cutouts for this card. I used saltwater taffy, abandoned coral, worn lipstick and picked raspberry Distress Ink on the pink egg; squeezed lemonade and fossilized amber on the yellow egg; and salvaged patina and peacock feathers on the teal egg.

I pressed the Distress Ink pads onto my glass matt, sprayed the coloured ink with water and pressed the eggs into this to colour them. I added white splatter with a paintbrush, water and Copic opaque white.

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) several images from Sweet Cart Critters and cut them out with the coordinating die set. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen.

I sprayed Distress Mica Stain in Cocktail Party onto watercolour paper. Once this dried, I added white splatter and die-cut it using the Easter Wishes Large sentiment die. I cut three layers using this die from white cardstock and glued them together for dimension. I then glued this to the card.

I then added the coloured eggs and critters using a combination of double-sided foam tape and liquid glue.

JOY and sweets!

Hey there Tea-timers...

DT Ashlee here today with a new Time for tea designs creation!

This one uses the new Sweet on you stamp set (along with co-ordinating dies) from the latest release at T4T.

To make this card I die cut the base using the Wonky windows cover die from p    ink card stock and then backed it with a piece of white card that I had added pink distress oxide ink too...

I die cut the sentiment JOY and adhered that to the first square of the card base. Using the Sweet on you set I stamped a bunch of the images before colouring them with Spectrum noir tri-blend markers. These were die cut using the co-ordinating dies and adhered to the card base using foam tape to add dimension!

To complete the card I added some white highlights to the images along with a touch of pretty sequins...

I hope you like my new card today, thankyou for stopping by. Happy crafting, hugs Ashlee.

Sweet, sweeter, sweetest

Hello sweet crafty friends!

I got to play with the warm hugs stamp set critters! These are actually the digistamps so I took my coloring paper to the office, printed them when my colleagues weren't looking 😉 and after returning home I cut them out using my Scan 'n cut machine. Using digistamps was a first for me, and I do like how they turned out!

I wanted to use natural colors for the critters and only use two bright colors for the cups and sweets on this card. So I chose browns and greys and I love combining these tones with pink and blue. After I had finished the coloring it was time for me to start making the background.

Using my die cut machine, I cut an A6 panel and a window cover frame from white cardstock. With the help of the frame and masking tape, I divided my panel in three parts to be able to blend my Distress Oxides, creating depth within all the windows of the frame. The colors used are spun sugar and kitsch flamingo.

Now all I needed was a sentiment! I die cut SWEET from colored cardstock and added peacock feathers distress oxide at the bottom of the letters. Then I used the sentiment from the sweet cart critters clear stamp set with white heat embossing powder on black cardstock to finish the sentence.

First I adhered the window cover frame to the panel. Using foam tape (1mm) I then adhered the critters and sentiment onto the panel. Last, but not least, I added some 'sprinkles' a.k.a. Nuvo crystal drops.
And then, ofcourse, I got myself a cup of coffee with a donut, as looking at the critters for quite some time got me peckish 😋

"I'm a Sucker for You!"

Hi Tea Timers, welcome back to the blog. I am back with another card using the newest Sweet on You stamp set. This time I am focusing on only one of the critters, specifically the critter holding the lollipop and the sentiment that perfectly matches the image.

I wanted to create a card in which the critter was creating displays for the lollipops in a candy shop.

Sets used:

(stamp and die bundle available here
(stamp and die bundle available here)

I first stamped out my images and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I then used Copic Markers to color them.

I took an A2 panel and using low tack tape, taped off the bottom 1/4 of the panel. With the Tiled Wall stencil, I blended it with Worn Lipstick and Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxides.

I then die cut out the word "hello" from gold cardstock. For the rest of the sentiment, I heat embossed it onto pink cardstock and die cut it out as well using the coordinating die set.

I then assembled my card by first placing where all the elements were going to go. With liquid adhesive and foam tape, I adhered the sentiments first. I then adhered the baskets and added the lollipops, three to each basket.

I finished the card by adding the critter in the middle with foam tape.

I hope you enjoyed this quick blog post today. All of the items I used are linked above. If you are going to purchase any of the items in the shop, don't forget to use the code T4TRANDY10 at checkout for extra savings. Happy Crafting!

Llama Tell You Circle Card

He i picchi.

Fabiola

Bunny birthday card with Kaja

Hi there,

It's Kaja from Kajcyika crafts and today I am sharing my very first card as a part of the Time for tea design team!

For this special occasion I decided to make a sweet and colorful card. This is what I came up with:

First, I stamped out a bunny image from Eggstra special birthday stamp set along with a bunny holding a cup and a spoon from Warm hugs set. To be able to create a little scene, I then stamped out two clouds from Love is in the air stamp set.

I colored everything in using alcohol markers. I used gray for the bunnies, brown for the spoon and the foam and then I added yellow and green for the cup.

For the background I decided to make a grassy hill using green ink that I decorated with some grass which I made using green alcohol marker. Then, I added blue ink-blended sky and some blue splatters to bring everything together.

I finished the scene off by adding the sentiment that reads 'it's your birthday you deserve a treat' that you can find in Warm hugs stamp set.

The card was almost finished, the only thing I added was a piece of rainbow paper from Brighter days paper pad. I cut it to be slightly smaller than the card base.

Then, I glued everything together on a gray card front and this cute bunny birthday card was all finished!

Thank you so much for joining me! Hope to see you again next time!

Hugs,
Kaja

Sending Warm Hugs in a Mug

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here, sharing a coffee-themed slimline card featuring the new Warm Hugs stamp set. I absolutely love the kitty hugging the coffee cup and that spoon, talk about adorable!

I used the Slimline Scalloped Trio Circle Nesting Dies to trim down Neenah Metallic cardstock for the back panel. I used double-sided tape to adhere this to a slimline card base.

I used the same die to trim a panel of watercolour cardstock that I had ink blended with abandoned coral, saltwater taffy and scattered straw Distress Oxide using my Beautiful Rainbow Blender Brushes. I added white splatter with a paintbrush, water and Copic opaque white.

I ink-blended salvaged patina Distress Ink onto a card panel and splattered it with salvaged patina ink spray. I used liquid glue to stick this in behind the circle trio panel; next, I added foam tape and stuck it down to the card base.

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) several images from the Warm Hugs stamp set and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. The green leaves are from Sweet Cart Critters. I used liquid glue to stick the stamped elements to the card base.

I added blue Designer Enamel Dots from the Sweet Summer collection to complete the card.

Big SWEET birthday wishes!

Hey there Tea-timers...

DT Ashlee here and today I'm sharing a card using brand new products from the new Time for tea designs release, Yippee!!

I used these T4T products :

Sweet on you stamp and co-ordinating die collection

Sweet scalloped dies

Big birthday wishes large sentiment die

To create this card I die cut the scalloped dies of both sizes. One from blue card and one from white before layering them together creating my card base. I then added a bit of distress oxide ink to the bottom portion of a piece of blue card before die cutting the sentiment from it. I then die cut the birthday wishes sentiment from black card also so that it could be adhered together off set creating a shadow sentiment. I adhered that in place with foam tape.

I stamped, coloured and die cut the cute critters then added those to my card before completing it all with a touch of pretty yellow sequins!

Aren't these sweet on you critters just adorable...
I totally understand why they are going for the treats!!

Thanks for checking out my card today, I hope you like this sweet birthday card!

Happy crafting, hugs Ashlee.

Have a sweet day!

Goodday everyone! Ilona behind the keyboard today, showing you my sweet sweet card with the Sweet Cart Critters clear stamp set from the latest release.

I thought it would be fun to make a slimeline card, using two carts next to each other, as if there was a sweet market in critter town. I started by stamping the images with my stamping tool en cut them out using my Scan 'n Cut. Took a bunch of Copics to color them in, which is so much fun to do! I decided to use 'cool' colors for the cart and critters this time, to be able to use 'warm' colors for the sweets, matching the background, as I do like myself some contrast ;-)

Picking the background colors was easy for me this time as I imagined the market to be in the countryside at sunset. I took the second largest slime line die cut to cut a panel out of white watercolor cardstock. I then used scattered straw and saltwater taffy Distress Oxides for the background, and abandoned coral for the trees. Purposly chose a very dark pink cardstock for the grass to emphasize the sunset color scheme.

Splattered with gold and white paint and then had to wait until it dried (which is so hard!!). After it dried, it was time for me to assemble the card. I used 2 different sizes of foam tape (0,5 mm and 1 mm) to adhere the stamped images to the background. I then die cut a panel from white cardstock with the largest slimeline die and used double sided to tape to assemble. Added some dots with Nuvo glitter drops as a finishing touch. Have a sweet day!
