Big Birthday Wishes

 Good afternoon everyone,

Happy Sunday, Lyndsey here and today I'm sharing some inspiration from our new summer release that went live on Thursday. If you haven't seen it yet (why not!?!) you need to check it out. Jo has once again worked her magic with an amazing selection of adorable images and fabulous die sets. This cute card has been made with the fabulous Birthday Bear stamp and die set.

To start as always I stamped and coloured my images using my Spectrum Noir markers (colours listed below in order of lightest to darkest)

Bear Body - EB1, EB2, GB8, GB10

Bear Stomach and Nose - GB10, EB3, EB8,

Balloon (red) - CR7, CR9, CR11, DR7

Balloon (blue) - TB1, TB3, TB4, TB5

Balloon (yellow) - CT1, CT2, CT4, GB5

Butterflies - PP1, PL2, LV1

So I decided to make a little scene card and this little fella if off to surprise his friend with a bunch of brightly coloured balloons.

I used the 2nd largest of the A2 Layering Dies to cut a piece if white card, and used the Slimline Scene Builder Stencil and Peacock Feathers distress ink to create my background.

I cut some grass strips from green card using the Landscape Edge Dies and added the cute little picket fence from the Windmill Add On Dies.

The Big Birthday Wishes Die was cut from black card 4 times for dimension and added towards the top section of the card.

I finished off adding a few flying critters in the sky.

Hey Friend!

Good afternoon everyone and happy Sunday,

DT Lyndsey here and today I want to share with you this sweet card using the adorable Lucky Ducks stamp and die set. I am totally in love with this gorgeous set and can see plenty of cards in my future with it.

I created a little scene with the ducks and did a bit of masking to add the flower clumps behind the ducks, and then added the pond in with my markers. I coloured the ducks up as Mallards (proper ducks) for something a bit different and love how they turned out!

The whole image was coloured using my Spectrum Noir markers (colours listed below in order of lightest to darkest)

Face - LG2, LG3 LG5

Belly - TN7,  TN9,  TN8

Body - BG1,  BG3,  BG5

Beak- CT1,  CT4, GB5

Bullrush - EB6, EB3, EB7

Grass - CG1,  CG2,  DG4

Pond - TB2, TB3,  TB4 , TB8

I cut out the scene using the 3rd largest A2 Layering Die and then used the same sized A2 Nesting Frame Die to cut a frame from white card, adding it to the image with foam tape.

I stamped the "Hey!" sentiment in the top right hand corner as I thought it just matched the scene perfectly. Now I do have a little chuckle when I look at this card, just because the sentiment reminds me of the Duck Song, and I dud have it stuck in my head for ages afterwards 🤣.

If you've not heard of the song, here's a snippet of the lyrics!

The duck walked up to a lemonade stand

And he said to the man, running the stand
"Hey! (Bum bum bum) Got any grapes?"
The man said
"No we just sell lemonade. But it's cold
And it's fresh
And it's all home-made. Can I get you
Glass?"
The duck said,
"I'll pass".
Then he waddled away.
(Waddle waddle)
'Til the very next day.
(Bum bum bum bum ba-bada-dum)
I trimed a 6x6 card blank  down to 12cm wide and added a piece of patterned paper to the front, cut slightly smaller than the card. The panel was added to the centre of the card and I finished off with a few clear drops.
Thank you for joining me here on the blog today, I hope you enjoyed my card.

Celebrate with Dies

 Good afternoon everyone,

Yesterday we had our new monthly Challenge start here on the blog and so today I want to share a little inspiration using one of new release dies the Large Scalloped Frame Die. This die consists of 2 large Scalloped Frame Dies and the 'CELEBRATE' sentiment too!.

I wanted to create an actual Frame for my card, so I took the the largest Scalloped Frame Die and the 3rd largest A2 Nesting Die and cut out from white card to create a frame.

On a piece of copy paper I added a selection of multicoloured card strips about 1cm wide to create a rainbow panel, which was then cut to size and added behind the frame.

The 'Celebrate' was cut 3 times from white card and once from gold glitter card to give it some dimension and added to the centre of the panel. A secondary sentiment was stamped and embossed on black card and added underneath the Celebrate.

I trimed a 6x6 card blank down to 12cm wide and added a piece of patterned paper from the Brighter Days 6x6 Pad cut slightly smaller than the card.

The frame panel was then added to the card using foam pads, before finishing off the card with coloured sequins matching the colour of the strip behind it.

Thank you for joining me here on the today,  we would love for you to join in the challenge and share your creations.

You can also get 10% off your order in store by using my code T4TLYNDSEY10 😀

Paper Hugs Enclosed

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here sharing a shadowbox card featuring some older Time For Tea Designs products, as well as the new Brighter Days 6x6' Paper Pad. This is such a beautiful paper pad with so many terrific patterns.

To start, I used my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e to cut a card base design from Lori Whitlock's SVG Shop (shadowbox card front flap hedgehog), which I adapted to create my card. I used several Time For Tea products for the inside of the card, including Up, Up & Away, Treat Yourself, Windmill Add On die, Happy Mail Critters, Mum & Dad Coordinating Die set.

I stamped, coloured (with Copics) and die cut the critters and other elements. For the fence and pots, I used some grey paper (fence), patterned paper (from the new release) and Distress Oxide in Mowed Lawn (green bush top). I assembled the inside of the card first, starting with adding the fence, grass (which I stamped the sentiment on) and pot, which I adhered to the card using liquid glue. Next, I added the hot air balloon bunnies, followed by the mouse, worm, flowers and die-cut heart. To finish off the inside, I added the clouds, the bee and the butterflies.

I cut out the beautiful pink bee patterned paper with the A2 Nesting dies and placed it on top of the blue card base for the front of my project. I stamped and coloured the bunny in the hot air balloon (with some masking to remove the second bunny) from the Up, Up & Away Clear Stamp Set. I cut it out and glued it to the patterned paper as well as some white puffy clouds. I also used the other bee from the All Occasion Critters Clear Stamp Set.

I die cut the Paper Hugs Sentiment Die from some white card stock and used liquid glue to adhere the 'paper' sentiment to the patterned paper. To complete the front of the card, I stamped and die cut the 'Hugs enclosed' sentiment using the Be Kind Be You Clear Stamp Set and the coordinating dies.
