Coffee Hugs

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here today, sharing a mixed-media, coffee-themed card I created using several products from Time For Tea Designs. I absolutely love the rich texture achieved with crackle paste and Distress Watercolour Pencils.

To start, I used a palette knife to apply Opaque Distress Crackle Paste through the Coffee Stains 6 x 6" Stencil onto Distress Watercolour paper. Once the paste was completely dry, I added colour using Distress Watercolour Pencils in Seedless Preserves, Stormy Sky, and Ground Espresso. The way the pigment settles into the grooves of the crackle paste creates such a beautiful, dimensional effect.

Next, I used a Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper to round a 1/4" corner on all four edges of the inked panel. I then adhered the panel to an A2 card base using liquid glue.

For the focal elements, I used the coordinating die set to cut the cups from Pumpkin Spice A4 Printed Cardstock and attached them to the card with 1 mm foam tape for added dimension. The coffee beans and spoon are from the Warm Hugs stamp set; I coloured them with Copic markers, die cut them with the coordinating dies, and finished them with white gel pen accents. These elements were adhered with liquid glue.

Finally, the sentiment is from the Be Kind Be You clear stamp set. I die cut it using the coordinating dies and adhered it with 1 mm double-sided foam tape to complete the card.

A fun way to use your washi tapes!

 Happy Monday, Tea Timers!

It is Natalia with you here today.

Just like with patterned paper, I find washi tape hard to use in my projects, but I always challenge myself to try - and I always love the final results!

For this 4x4" card, I used a selection from the new Designer Washi Tape collection: Yellow Abstract Triangles, Green Rainbows, Ombre Sunset and Blue Hearts together with the smallest of the dies from the new Memory Keeping Essential Dies.

I started off with a small piece of white cardstock, where I stuck down the washi tapes in different orders. From that piece of cardstock, I then die cut as many little hearts as they fit, and repeated the process until I had 9 hearts. I made sure to move the die cut around so that each heart had a different pattern on it.

I then die cut 9 hearts from fun foam so stick behind each heart for dimension.

The sentiment I used is from the Be Kind Be You sentiment set, which I love. I used the coordinating die as well. And finally I added some white and transparent gems and sequins to my little card.

What do you think? Will you give your washi tapes a go? I hope you do!

Sending hugs,

Bunny Hugs Enclosed

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here, for my latest card, I have used several Time For Tea Designs goodies that were released this past winter and spring. With so many beautiful new stamps being released, I enjoy giving some love to my older sets!

To start, I cut a panel from some white cardstock with my A2 Layering dies. I stamped the Plaid Background Clear Stamp Set with some dark teal ink onto this panel. I stamped it several times using my MISTI to get a good impression as this is a larger stamp.

I then stamped the clouds from Paper Plane Pals, the bunnies from Blooming Bunnies and the little envelope from the Happy Mail Critters Digi Stamp Add On Collection - I love that T4T has digis that are free for everyone to use. I cut out the images after colouring them with my Copics.

I stamped the sentiment from the Be Kind Be You stamp set and coloured the word 'hugs' using Prismacolor coloured pencils. I then adhered the elements of the scene using liquid glue. To complete the card, I glued some white fun foam to the back of the panel and glued this to an A2 card base.

I hope you like this card and would love it if you could use T4TANNALISA10 for 10% off your order the next time you purchase anything from Time For Tea Designs.

Thank you Bee

Hello everyone! Annalisa here sharing a thank you card featuring the Bee Happy stamp set and the coordinating dies for my DT card. I love how you can create bright and happy cards with this stamp set.

This card fits right in with the August T4T Summer mood board Challenge! Bee (I just had to!) sure to submit your card on the Challenge Blog for your chance to win! For each challenge, we will select a random winner to receive a £25.00 gift certificate to use at T4T! We will also select one winner to Guest Design for us the following month.

To start, I die cut some heavy white card stock with the Dotty Hearts Panel Die. I added this to a card base and set it aside to create the rest of the card.

I die cut a circle from black card stock using the Simple Circle Dies. I then used an older T4T stencil to create a honeycomb background with some Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide. I cut another circle from this cardstock with the same die set. I of course used my Beautiful Rainbow Blender Brushes to apply the Distress Oxide to the card base, they allowed me to get a softer feel on the edges.

I glued both circles to the dotty hearts panel with liquid glue. I then stamped, coloured (with my Copics) and die cut the bee and other elements. I added some highlights to all of the images with my white Gelly Roll Pen.

I used liquid glue to attach all of the elements, except for the bee, instead, I added an action wobbler to the back of the bee. I just love how this made the bee 'buzz' with movement.

For the sentiment, I used the 'thanks' from the "Thanks A Whole Bunch" which is an older T4T stamp set but you could certainly use the Be Kind Be You stamp set. I like using the older stamp and die sets with newer ones to get the most bang out of my supplies! I die cut the sentiment out with the Pandamonium Party coordinating die set.

Take the Scenic Route

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here. The heat and humidity where I am have been brutal lately, so for this week's Time For Tea Designs card, I decided that these two critters should go for a drive with the top down to cool off.

To create this card I used the Hillside Village, Car Critters, Be Kind Be You and Treat Yourself stamp sets.

I stamped the houses onto some white card stock, which I cut to be 8 1/4 by 3 1/4. While the ink was still wet, I stamped the image onto some masking paper and then fussy cut it out. I masked the houses and then stamped the trees on top of them. I stamped the birds, sun and cloud onto the slimline background. Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Be Kind Be You sentiment stamp set. Once the background stamping was complete, I coloured the scene in with my Copic markers.

Next, I stamped the mouse, masked him out and stamped the car and bunny on top. I coloured the trio with my Copics and then fussy cut them out. To cut out my slider, I used the coordinating die set from the Hooray Hamsters stamp set.

I assembled the interactive element and then placed it down onto some blue card stock, cut to 8 1/2 by 3 1/2. There is a great video by Jo over on YouTube showing how to make the interactive element with a hamster. This car doesn't spin around (thankfully!), but the principle is the same.

I hope you like this card and would love it if you could use T4TANNALISA10 for 10% off your order the next time you purchase anything from Time For Tea Designs.

Paper Hugs Enclosed

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here sharing a shadowbox card featuring some older Time For Tea Designs products, as well as the new Brighter Days 6x6' Paper Pad. This is such a beautiful paper pad with so many terrific patterns.

To start, I used my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e to cut a card base design from Lori Whitlock's SVG Shop (shadowbox card front flap hedgehog), which I adapted to create my card. I used several Time For Tea products for the inside of the card, including Up, Up & Away, Treat Yourself, Windmill Add On die, Happy Mail Critters, Mum & Dad Coordinating Die set.

I stamped, coloured (with Copics) and die cut the critters and other elements. For the fence and pots, I used some grey paper (fence), patterned paper (from the new release) and Distress Oxide in Mowed Lawn (green bush top). I assembled the inside of the card first, starting with adding the fence, grass (which I stamped the sentiment on) and pot, which I adhered to the card using liquid glue. Next, I added the hot air balloon bunnies, followed by the mouse, worm, flowers and die-cut heart. To finish off the inside, I added the clouds, the bee and the butterflies.

I cut out the beautiful pink bee patterned paper with the A2 Nesting dies and placed it on top of the blue card base for the front of my project. I stamped and coloured the bunny in the hot air balloon (with some masking to remove the second bunny) from the Up, Up & Away Clear Stamp Set. I cut it out and glued it to the patterned paper as well as some white puffy clouds. I also used the other bee from the All Occasion Critters Clear Stamp Set.

I die cut the Paper Hugs Sentiment Die from some white card stock and used liquid glue to adhere the 'paper' sentiment to the patterned paper. To complete the front of the card, I stamped and die cut the 'Hugs enclosed' sentiment using the Be Kind Be You Clear Stamp Set and the coordinating dies.

LOVE you & Hugs enclosed

Happy Easter Monday everyone! 🐤

It is Natalia here today, sharing with you my very first set of cards as part of the T4TD DT team - I am buzzing!

I must admit, I wasn't sure which sentiment I wanted to use, I just love them all, and this is why I ended up with two cards - that was not the original plan. I am glad I did though, because I really like them both!

For these cards I used the T4TD Be Kind Be You Clear Stamp Set and Be Kind Be You Coordinating Die Set. I think this is a really versatile set as there's so many not only stamp sentiments but word die cuts too! The most amazing thing is that you can buy these as a set under the Limited edition collections section over at the shop and save some money - yay!

Now, let's get into the details on how I made these two cards!

Firstly, I picked my Distress Oxide inks for the cards. I chose a rainbow palette as I thought they would make the cards bright and happy:

  • Abandoned coral
  • Ripe persimmon
  • Dried marigold
  • Squeezed lemonade
  • Twisted citron
  • Broken china
  • Kitsch flamingo
  • Wilted violet
Initially I was not sure on the card sizes so I inked blended a section big enough for my coordinating dies twice from the same colour on scrap paper.

Let's talk about the blending brushes I used! There are some brushes that arrive slightly blemished but work perfectly fine. They are a whooping 60% off the regular price and you can find them here.

Once my ink blending was dry and safe to do some heat embossing on, I applied some anti-static powder onto it, stamped the LOVE and Hugs Enclosed sentiment with VersaMark ink and used WOW regular embossing powder on them. I did the same with the envelope stamp, but on black cardstock.

For the word YOU I die cut that 4 times from black cardstock and the shadow from vellum. I then die cut each rectangle and square two times per sentiment to give the card some dimension - so each of my sentiments had 3 layers on them. Same for the envelope stamp.

For the Love You card, I used an A2 card base, and cut a smaller panel to arrange my sentiments and leave a border all around. For the Hugs enclosed card I used a square 5x5" card base and cut a panel slightly smaller only horizontally to leave some border on both sides.

To arrange all the sentiments on my cards, I used two T-rulers - I can tell you, not even then I got them 100% straight! Who would have said I did technical drawing for years 😂

I hope you like these!

Shaker Card Video Tutorial

Hi crafty friends! I hope you're all having a good week.

I am sharing a fun video tutorial today where I show you how I make my shaker cards.

I love to make shaker cards and fill them up with sequins they are really fun to receive too. For my card today I used the Baked With Love Stamp Set for my critters. I seriously love these stamps and the pieces of cheese are really cute! In my video I will also show you how I copic coloured the stamps.

For my card panel I die cut one of my favourite cover plate dies using the Stripes Cover Plate Die. I ink blended this using a Beautiful Blending Brush along with some Speckled Egg Distress Ink. I then ink blended the back panel using Kitsch Flamingo Distress Ink. I then adhered a piece of acetate to the back of the stripes die. I applied some foam tape and filled this up with sequins before adhering the panels together.

The shaker part of your card is now complete. I then stamped my images and coloured them in, using the Baked With Love Coordinating Dies I ran them through my die cutting machine.

For my sentiment I stamped the Hugs Enclosed from the Be Kind Be You. I used a copic marker to colour the hugs stamp. I then used the Be Kind Be You Coordinating Dies to die cut my sentiment out. Once everything was ready I adhered the images to my card using foam tape.

Your shaker card is now complete. I loved how this turned out and it's sure to put a smile on someones face.

Don't forget you can also save 10% off your Time For Tea Designs purchase using the code: T4TVICKI10 at the checkout.

Thank You Piggy Card

Hello DT Vic popping in today with an easy Thank You card. This card is also great to make in batches as you can never have to many Thank You cards.

For my thank you card I wanted to have a soft card with some cute critters. I started with a light grey card base and trimmed a piece of white card down for my card panel. Using this white I piece I used the Small Hearts XOXO Dies. I used the heart with stitched and embossed the die onto my card a number of times.

I adhered this piece onto my card using foam tape. Next I used the Thank You Sentiment Die and using some light pink card I die cut the Thank You out three times and adhered them together. I added three layers to add some dimension to the words but you can just die cut this once and add foam tape to the back.

Once I adhered this to the middle of my card I stamped out my images. I used the Workout Pigs Stamp and Dies. I love these cute pigs so much and I thought it would be super fun to add them to my card. I coloured the pigs in with my copic markers and then using the coordinating dies I run them through my die cutting machine. I then adhered them onto my card using foam tape.

To finish my card off I added some hearts using the Scattered Hearts Cover Plate Die. I always keep some of the hearts that the die cuts out as they are the perfect size to add to your cards so if you have this die make sure to save some of the hearts for your next card. I then stamped my sentiment using the Be Kind Be You Stamp Set. I used a light pink ink to blend with the rest of the card.

I hope you have fun making your own thank you cards. Don’t forget you can catch Jo live tonight at 8pm on our Facebook page.

Pig Love

Hello DT Vic here today and I have a sweet card to share with you using the Workout Pigs Stamp Set and the Be Kind Be You Stamp Set

I wanted to make my own background using the little pizza's. I started by stamping the pizza's onto a piece of white card and stamped the images using some brown ink. Next I used the Mini Frame and Banner Die and placed the heart on my card. I run this through my die cutting machine five times moving the heart die each time.

Once the die cutting was complete I added foam tape to the back of my card and adhered this down onto a piece of pink card.

I then stamped my images and coloured them in with my copic markers. I trimmed the images out and placed them onto my card using foam tape.

For my sentiment I used the Love stamp from the Be Kind Be You Stamp Set. I heat embossed the greeting onto a piece of black card and trimmed this out. I then adhered this down in the middle of my card base using some more foam tape. To finish the card off I die cut some hearts using the Scattered hearts cover plate die and added them to my card.

Your card is now complete. I loved making this card and using the dies to add something a bit different to your cards.

Sending Paper Hugs

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here sharing a slimline card filled with hearts - perfect for sending to a friend for Valentine's Day. It features the brand new Happy Mail Critters stamp set from the Time For Tea Designs January collection that was released last week.

I created the base panel by die cutting some blue card stock with the largest die from the Slimline Scalloped Trio Circle Nesting Dies. Next, I cut some white card stock using the Scalloped Slimline Die for the middle panel. For the top panel, I used the dotted heart in the same die set and cut it out three times. I coloured the card stock using Spun Sugar Distress Oxide and my Beautiful Blender Brush. I stamped the little heart from the Be Kind Be You stamp set several times onto the pink panel with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink.

I adhered the white scalloped frame down to the blue panel using liquid glue and then added some Lawn Fawn patterned paper on top of this. I stamped the sentiment 'sending paper hugs' using Versafine Onyx Black ink. I love this ink for sentiments as it stamps so crisply. I then adhered the pink panel with some foam tape on top of this.

Then it was time to add all of the adorable critters and accessories - all from the Happy Mail Critters stamp set except for the little mouse who is from the Treat Yourself Clear Stamp Set. I did some mirror stamping for the little bird with the envelope but if you prefer not to do this you could use the little bird from the Happy Mail Critters Digi Stamp Add On Collection which is still free (for a limited time)! I stamped, coloured (with my copics) and cut out all of the images. I then either used liquid glue or foam tape to adhere the elements down to the top panel.

This card makes me smile and I really enjoyed making it. Please be sure to use T4TANNALISA10 for 10% off your order. This really helps me to continue to be on the T4T design team which I love so much!

I Miss You Face!

Hello DT Vic here today and I am sharing a very cute slimline card with you today using the gorgeous Workout Pigs Stamp Set. These stamps are just the CUTEST!!! I had so much fun creating this card today.

For my card today I used the Slimline Scalloped Trio Circle Nesting Dies and die cut a rectangle onto some dark pink card then using the trio circles I die cut another piece of card using a light pink card. I adhered these onto my card base. Next I stamped up the gorgeous pigs using some copic friendly paper and I coloured in the pigs. I then trimmed the images out and placed them onto my card using some foam tape.

I then added some hearts by doing this I saved some pieces from the Scattered Hearts Cover Plate Die and adhered them onto my card using PVA glue.

I then used the Wavy Hello Sentiment Die and run this through my die cutting machine twice, once with white card then I used a blue card. I adhered these together with the blue card underneath the white card peeking out. I then added some heart envelopes using the Be Kind Be You Stamp Set. I adhered the hello sentiment onto my card along with the envelopes. Next I used some black card and stamped the I Miss Your Face sentiment which I then embossed using some white Embossing Powder. I trimmed this down and adhered the sentiment onto my card.

To finish my card off I added some gems. I really loved how this card turned out and the pigs are sure to put a smile on someones face.

Paper Hugs

There are so many people that I could send this card to. It is such a hard time at the moment for everyone and I love how this cute new stamp set Happy Mail Critters is just perfect for sending some socially distanced love. I coloured these cuties up with Spectrum noir tri blend markers and added an extra envelope that comes in the Be Kind Be You stamp set. For the background I used the Rainbow pack Beautiful Blender Brushes with distress inks and the Brick Wall stencil for the pavement and the Scene It stencil for the clouds in the sky. To finish it off as always I added a sprinkling of Nuvo drops to add sparkle and texture.

You can use my code T4TAMY10 to get 10% off of these cuties and more in the Time For Tea Designs store.

Huge hugs

Adorable Piggy Shaker Card

Hello DT Vic here with you today. I am sharing a fun video tutorial for you today. In my video I’m using the brand new Workout Pigs Stamp Set aren’t they the cutest!

I will also show you how I made my embossed background using dies. Please note that the sandwich I used is for the sizzix big shot machine so if you are using a different machine you will need to check which plates to put in your machine as they will be different to the sizzix and may even damage your machine if you don’t check.

I go through all the steps in my video including how I made the cute shaker heart. I first started by adding some ink to my card panel using the Heart Grid Masking Stencil. I added some pink distress ink to my stencil. Next I embossed the Scattered Hearts Cover Plate Die. You can see how I done this in the video. Once this was complete I made a shaker heart using the Small Heart XOXO Die.

I used a piece of vellum as my window instead of acetate as I love the effect it gives. I then stamped and coloured my images using copic markers and they are all listed on the screen of my video. Once I put my shaker card together I adhered everything down. I then heat embossed my sentiment which is from the Be You, Be Kind Stamp Set. This is such a fantastic stamp set as there is so many lovely greetings on this.

I then added a few sequins to my card to finish the card off. I love how this turned out and I love embossing my dies as it gives you so many different embossed backgrounds it’s a great way to stretch your dies.

Don’t forget you can save 10% off your order using the code: T4TVICKI10 at the checkout. I hope you all enjoyed the release this month there is so many beautiful products to choose from. I know you will all love crafting with them and I can’t wait to see what you make!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
