Hugs and Holiday Cheer Wreath

Hello everyone, Annalisa here sharing a card that was featured in Papercraft Essentials Magazine in October 2021. This is the first set of my cards (there were five in total) that have been published in a magazine and I am quite proud of it. Below is a list of the materials I used followed by the instructions on how to create this card.

Materials Used:
A5 Winter Wishes Wreath Stamp Set and coordinating dies
- T4T Quilted Square Nesting Dies
(no longer sold, but you could use another square die set, or cut this yourself with a paper trimmer)
- Neenah 80lb card stock and Ranger Distress Heavy Cardstock
- Printer paper
- Shimmer Spray - Silver Sparkle and a small paint brush
- Heat tool and anti-static powder tool
- Brutus Monroe Sterling embossing powder
- Ink On 3 Blackout Detail Ink (alcohol ink friendly)
- White Art Glitter liquid glue
- Copic Sketch Markers
- Stamping platform - MISTI from My Sweet Petunia
- Ranger Inkssentials Glossy Accents
- Ranger Inkssentials Enamel Accents (White)
- Tombow removable adhesive
- Foil Paper (Metal Prismatic Foil by Colorbok)
- Sookwang double-sided tape (3/8 inch)
- Zig Wink of Sella Brush

Instructions:

1. Use a square die to cut a 5-inch square from Ranger cardstock. Use T4T blender blush to apply teal oxide to this panel.

2. Create a mask using printer paper and a circle die. Add removable adhesive to circle and mask off the center of the cardstock, and add a splatter of shimmer spray using a paintbrush. Remove mask and let dry.

3. Dust circle panel with anti-static powder tool, stamp “hugs & holiday cheer” in embossing ink, cover with sterling embossing powder and heat set.

4. Use a stamping platform (to get full coverage with the ink) to stamp the wreath with black ink onto Neenah 80lb card stock.

5. Colour the wreath with Copics and then die-cut the wreath with the coordinating die.

6. Die cut wreath two more times from white card stock and glue all three wreaths together with liquid glue to add dimension.

7. Glue down the wreath to the teal square card panel with liquid glue.

8. Die cut a 5 ½ square from the foil paper and use double-sided tape to adhere it to a card base of the same size.

9. Add the teal panel to foil paper and card base using double-sided tape.

10. Add glossy accents, glitter pen and white pen to the wreath.

11. Add dots of white enamel accents around the sentiment.

TIP: use a stamping platform to stamp larger stamps such as the wreath in this set so that you can stamp it several times to get a crisp and dark impression

Warm Winter Wishes Bookmark

Hi Tea Timers! Welcome back to the T4TD blog! It's Miki here and today I'm back with some new inspiration. This time I used the Warm Winder Wishes stamp set to create a magical bookmark. I love reading and I have many friends who do too so I thought this would be great for a hand made Christmas gift.

To start with, I used the smallest die in the Slimline Scallop Nesting Dies set and paired it with a smaller rectangle to die cut a window in my panel. I cut this combination from white card stock 5 times. I then took one of my frames and ink blended it using Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide. To create the shaker, I cut some acetate to go behind my blue frame and glued it down. I then glued 3 of the white frames on the back of that. I picked some cute sequins and added those into my window. Mine are a bit flat, so 3 layers of card stock was enough for them to move around but if your sequins have more dimension, you should add more layers to your bookmark. Once my sequins were in I glued another sheet of acetate to the back of the bookmark. This creates the window. To make sure none of that glue was visible form the back I then glued my last frame on top of the acetate, at the back.

Next, I focused on the scene. I die cut another piece of card stock using that small Slimline Scallop die and then die cut it twice again using one of the Landscape Edge Standalone Die - the aim here is to create two "hills" with that scallop pattern around the edges. To add some interest, and let's be real for some fun sparkle, I chose to add embossing powder all over my hills. I took my Versafine embossing ink and applied it all over my two hills - any embossing ink will work here. Then I applied a generous layer of WOW Embossing Powder in Sparkling Snow - isn't that a fitting name? and heat set it. Please make sure you get rid of any excess powder before heat setting. I didn't and ended up covered in glitter - not that it's a bad thing haha! Once my hills were nice and sparkly I glued them on the front of my bookmark, at the bottom.

Moving on to the images. I thought long and hard about what my scene should be and in the end I settled on the cute penguin decorating his Christmas tree. I stamped the penguin and the tree along with some bulbs and colored them in using my Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers. I then die cut them using the matching dies and added some white highlights. I arranged them as a scene and glued them together. I then used some foam tape and added those to the front of my bookmark.

I couldn't figure out a way to add a tassel to my bookmark so I didn't add one, but if you have a Crop-A-Dile Hole Punch I'm pretty sure it would be fine to pierce your acetate without all your sequins flying out.

Sending Winter Hugs

Hello everyone and happy Friday! DT Annalisa here sharing a winter themed shaker card using several Time For Tea Designs products. Shakers take a bit of extra work but are so much fun to share with others. We have just gone into 'Stay-at-home' orders where I live in Canada so I think this sentiment is perfect to send to a friend during this difficult time.

To start, I created a colourful background panel using a stencil I made from an old triangles cover plate die that I have from Simon Says Stamp. I love being able to extend the use of my older craft goodies! I added some colour using Distress Oxides (Salty Ocean and Mermaid Lagoon) to my stencil with my Beautiful Blender Brushes. I added some white paint splatter once the ink was dry.

I stamped and coloured the cute bunnies from the A5 Cosy Winter Stamp Set and, after I cut them out, I adhered them to the background panel. I stamped the snow globe base using Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide. To create the snow globe, I used my Circle of Love Nesting Dies to cut out a circle frame from thick white cardstock. I added some foam tape to the back of the frame after I adhered some acetate to the back of it.

Next, I added some clear sequence (they show up as pink in one of the photos) down on top of the bunnies. I adhered the snow globe base to the panel and then added the circle frame on top.

To complete the card I white heat embossed the sentiment to some black cardstock, cut it out and adhered it to the card.

Sending Winter Hugs

Happy New Year to you all!

It's DT Shabneez with my first post of 2021 and what a start it's been with yet another lockdown!  To make you feel better I have a card that is sending you winter hugs because I feel we all need them!

I have used the Winter Wishes Wreath Stamp in a different way by breaking the wreath up on my card and I think it looks quite effective don't you?

The wreath was stamped twice onto my card base which I die cut using the Slimline Scalloped Trio Circle Nesting Dies.  I stamped the sentiments around the wreath and coloured in the images using my Chameleon pens.

Luxurious Warm Winter Wishes

Happy Wednesday!

It's Shabneez here sharing news of the final new release of the year which is in store today!  Among the wonderful new products is the Warm Winter Wishes Stamp & Die Set which I have decided to showcase today.

It's a beautiful stamp set that can be used all year round using different sentiments and images for the centre.  I chose to heat emboss the wreath on black card with gold embossing powder.  I think you'll agree it gives a warm and luxurious feel to the card.

Once I heat embossed the image, I set about colouring it with my Chameleon pencils.  To finish I stuck the image on a piece of square gold backing card.

As ever you can can 10% off anything in store including this new release using my code T4TSHABNEEZ10.

Happy Crafting!
