Sending Winter Hugs

Hello everyone and happy Friday! DT Annalisa here sharing a winter themed shaker card using several Time For Tea Designs products. Shakers take a bit of extra work but are so much fun to share with others. We have just gone into 'Stay-at-home' orders where I live in Canada so I think this sentiment is perfect to send to a friend during this difficult time.

To start, I created a colourful background panel using a stencil I made from an old triangles cover plate die that I have from Simon Says Stamp. I love being able to extend the use of my older craft goodies! I added some colour using Distress Oxides (Salty Ocean and Mermaid Lagoon) to my stencil with my Beautiful Blender Brushes. I added some white paint splatter once the ink was dry.

I stamped and coloured the cute bunnies from the A5 Cosy Winter Stamp Set and, after I cut them out, I adhered them to the background panel. I stamped the snow globe base using Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide. To create the snow globe, I used my Circle of Love Nesting Dies to cut out a circle frame from thick white cardstock. I added some foam tape to the back of the frame after I adhered some acetate to the back of it.

Next, I added some clear sequence (they show up as pink in one of the photos) down on top of the bunnies. I adhered the snow globe base to the panel and then added the circle frame on top.

To complete the card I white heat embossed the sentiment to some black cardstock, cut it out and adhered it to the card.

I have a 10% discount code for the T4T store which can be used If you are interested in purchasing any of the T4T products used in my project, use T4TANNALISA10 at checkout for a 10% discount which can be used on anything, anytime and has no time limit.
