Good Luck Critters

Hey all! Jill (@tinytreasureworkshop) here sharing another card featuring the Time for Tea Designs "Good Luck Critters" stampset. I first used the "Rounded Rectangle" die set to cut one panel in white cardstock and one in red.

I ink blended the white cardstock with "Tumbled Glass" Distress Oxide around the edges. I added some blue splatters for added interest.

I cut in the rainbow and cat image from the stampset and colored in with alcohol markers and finished it off with a sentiment

Happy Birthday Cailin!

Hi. Design team member Koren Wiskman here. I hope that I can inspire you to create something fun with all of these awesome T4TD supplies. Today I am using the Thinking of You Sentiment Dies and the Puffy Alpha Stickers to create this project. This card was personalized for my daughter Cailin. She is turning 24 on the day of this post. It was inspired by her.

The card size is A2 (4.25in x5.5in.) The front panel is cut to 3.25in x 4.75in. This is my favorite size card to create. I have tried so many others but this size is the one that keeps my heart happy. My card bases are typically made using a neutral gray cardstock. These two details about my cards rarely change.

Background

I used a stencil from my stash to ink blend my daughter's favorite color into a watercolor like background. I used several shades of the same teal color to try for a gradient effect.

Sentiment

I used the Time for Tea Designs Thinking of You Sentiment Dies to cut "thinking of you" out of the center of the ink blended panel. To create the shiny effect on the sentiment I covered it with two coats of glossy accents. My glossy accents is rather old and it dried with a very yellow tinge to it. I might need to think about buying a new one. Anywho, I then used the T4TD Puffy Alpha Stickers to personalize the card with her name at the bottom of the sentiment. The card panel with the background and the sentiment itself is popped up using foam adhesive it give it dimension. I let the gray of the card base come through behind the letters.

Embellishments

I then embellished the card with some hearts from my stash in a beautiful pink color. The "24" is also from my stash of number and alpha stickers.

I hope that I've inspired you to create something today. Check out the Thinking of you Sentiment Dies and the Puffy Alpha Stickers in the T4TD shop.

Purrfect Day!

Hello Tea Timers!

Michelle from the Design Team and today I have a cosy card that’s full of books, plants, and purrfect little pals.

These two cats are clearly the queens or kings of this calm and colourful corner, and I loved building this sweet indoor scene.

Supplies used:

Purrfect Day

Home Sweet Home

For the soft blue wallpaper background, I used a striped stencil and ink blended with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide. For the floor, I used Brushed Corduroy Distress Oxide. Next, I added pops of colour with the books and potted plants. Each piece was stamped, coloured with alcohol markers, and arranged to feel like a peaceful little reading nook - complete with framed art on the wall and a stack of books ready for a catnap.

For the sentiment, I heat embossed this with ink and white powder onto bright pink cardstock. I thought this colour would help balance the pink book and the sentiment says it all - Hope your day is purrfect. Whether it’s for a friend, a birthday or just because, this card is sure to bring a smile.

Thanks so much for visiting today.

I’ll be back soon with more crafty cuteness to share!

Fall Thank You

Happy Fall! DT Annalisa here today, and I am sharing a fall scene with happy squirrels playing in the leaves as they prepare for winter. This card features the Jumping With Joy Clear Stamp Set from Time For Tea Designs.

To create the background, I used a scene die from my stash to die-cut mixed-media paper and then coloured the die-cut pieces with Distress Watercolour Pencils. Specifically, I used Gathered Twigs, Frayed Burlap, Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo, and Brushed Corduroy for the trees; Twisted Citron and Peeled Paint for the grass; and Salvaged Patina and Mermaid Lagoon for the sky.

Next, I assembled the scene by using liquid glue to adhere the pieces to an A2 card base. I added some extra texture by splattering white Picket Fence Distress Spray Stain with a paint brush.

Once the background was complete, I moved on to adding details. I stamped several images from the Jumping With Joy Clear Stamp Set, coloured them with Copics, and cut them out with the coordinating dies. To finish the elements, I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. The heart flowers are from Ewe Are The Best, the tiny flowers are from Just Married, and the mushrooms are from You Got Mail.

I used liquid glue and double-sided foam tape to stick the images to the card. The sentiment is from the Brighter Days Sentiment Cards, White on Black.

Good Luck Critters

Hey all! Jill (@tinytreasureworkshop) here with today's card features some adorable Time For Tea Designs products!

To create this card, I inkblended Distress Oxides in Blue and Pink for the background. I cut out a frame in white cardstock using the "Five Windows Die" and mounted it on top of the ink blended panel with foam tape.

I colored in images from the "Good Luck Critters" stsnpset with alcohol markers and arranged them in the windows.

I love how it turned out! I hope you do too!

Hey

Hi. Design team member Koren Wiskman here. I hope that I can inspire you to create something fun with all of these awesome T4TD supplies. Today, I am using the Hey, Hi, Hello Die Set as well as both the Fruitiful Friends Stamp Set and the Squeeze the Day Stamp Set to create this project.

Background

I started by stamping some of the images from both the Time for Tea Designs Fruitiful Friends Stamp Set and the Squeeze the Day Stamp Set onto the white background panel. I focused on stamping the images toward the bottom third of the panel because I knew that I was going to be layering additional panels on top of it. They images are stamped with black pigment ink. If you wanted to add a bit more shine to your card, you could also heat emboss them with clear embossing powder. I DID NOT take that extra step. I was happy with the black and white contrast.

The pink layer is simply a hot pink cardstock ripped to give it an imperfect textured element to the card, with a pop of color. I popped this layer up using foam tape.

The top layer is heavyweight white card stock cut long enough to show enough of the pink panel and also give a nice place for my sentiment to live. I was NOT measuring much on any of these layers. I was winging it. This panel is also popped up with foam tape.

Sentiment

The sentiment on this card is cut from the T4TD Hey, Hi, Hello Die Set. The shadow layer is black cardstock and the "hey" is cut from heavyweight white cardstock and layered four times using liquid adhesive. I then used the same liquid adhesive to stick it to the top panel.

I hope that I've inspired you to create something today. Check out the Hey, Hi, Hello Die Set as well as the Fruitiful Friends and Squeeze the Day Stamp Sets over in the T4TD shop.

Let's Shellebrate!

Hello everyone!

Michelle here from the Design Team with a splashy birthday card featuring two adorable otters celebrating in style. These little critters are floating in the cutest pond, surrounded by mountains, trees, and plenty of shells for the ultimate birthday bash!

Supplies used:

Beach Buds

Trees - Seasons Tweetings

Mountain Scene Builder Dies

To create the peaceful outdoor scene, the sky in the background was ink blended with Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide. For the mountains, I die cut them using the Mountain Scene Builder Dies from grey and white cardstock.

The grassy area was ink blended with Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover Distress Oxides. The water was die cut a couple of times from a wave die and ink blended with Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide before being splattered blue metallic watercolours. I added glittery accents to the water to make it shimmer like the sun’s shining down.

The otters were coloured with warm tones and tucked in the water, looking so content as they enjoy their big day. I hand drew the rocks and boulders to help fill out the scene as it was looking a bit empty.

The punny sentiment says it all: let’s shellebrate! I think it’s a perfect way to send some birthday joy to a friend who loves the outdoors or sea life.

Thanks so much for stopping by! May your day be as fun and relaxing as these otters!

Adventure Awaits New Driver Card

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here! It is time for another congratulations card, as another of my beautiful nieces has gotten her driver's license! Once again, the Adventure Awaits stamp set was perfect to create a card to help celebrate the occasion.

On a panel of watercolour, I used Squeezed Lemonade, Picked Raspberry, Peacock Feathers, and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink Re-inkers with water and a paintbrush. I added splatter using Picket Fence Distress Spray Stain. Once the panel was dry, I die-cut it using the Simple Square Nesting Dies and adhered it to a dark grey card base with liquid glue. I added white stitched lines with a Gelly Roll Pen for interest.

I stamped several images from the Adventure Awaits stamp set onto watercolour paper, coloured them with Distress Watercolour Pencils, and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen and used liquid glue to adhere the images to the card.

Not Another Vintage Phone Card

Hi. Design team member Koren Wiskman here. I hope that I can inspire you to create something fun with all of these awesome T4TD supplies. I had to make more phone cards, I love it and I have more planned. Today I am using the Hey, Hello, Hi Dies as well as the Let's Chat Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies to create this project.

Background

Today's background is actually just a piece of patterned paper cut down to about 3 x 4 3/4 inches and then a added some fringe to make the panel 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 with the 1/2 inch fringe added. This panel was put onto the card base using craft foam and tear tape adhesive.

Focal Image

The only image on the card that isn't patterned paper is from the Time for Tea Designs Let's Chat Stamp Set. I love this phone. I used coordinating dark green cardstock. I heat embossed it using clear sticky ink and white embossing powder. Once heated and completely cooled I used the Let's Chat Coordinating Dies to cut out the phone image.

Sentiment

I used the T4TD Hey, Hello, Hi Dies to cut out the "hello" using both the hello die from the set and it's shadow. The "hello" was cut out of patterned paper that I thought coordinated well with the background. The shadow was cut from a coordinating piece of mustard cardstock. The sub-sentiment "i'm only a phone call away" is also from the Let's Chat Stamp Set. I also heat embossed this onto coordinating dark blue cardstock. The coordinating dies for this set are so fun because it comes with sentiment dies.

Embellishments

To add to the fun, I added a pink and white speech bubble from my scrapbooking stash. The phone cord was made using dark green twine and liquid adhesive. I coated the twine in adhesive and wrapped it around a thin plastic micro-brush. Once dry, it was curled like the phone cords of old. I used large glue dots to adhere the phone cord. Everything else was popped up using foam squares.

I hope that I've inspired you to create something today. Check out the Hey, Hello, Hi Dies as well as the Let's Chat Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies in the T4TD shop

Shaker Fintastic Friends!

Hello everyone!

Michelle here from the Design Team with a bubbly little shaker card that’s swimming in cuteness. This undersea crew is sending hugs and good vibes to a fintastic friend, complete with sparkle and splash!

Supplies used:

Fintastic Friends

Beach Buds

The background was ink blended in ocean blues (Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean Distress Oxides) and layered with waves to create a fun little scene. I filled the shaker with a mix of sequins in blues, greens and yellows to match the tropical colours of the fish.

Each character was stamped and coloured with alcohol markers. White gel highlights were added and then arranged to float around the frame.

I love how the octopus takes centre stage, surrounded by fishy friends, a happy crab and a smiley turtle. The whole card just feels joyful and full of movement!

If you're looking for a fun way to add some shimmer to your next project, shaker cards are always a good time. Thanks for popping by!

Holey Moley!

Hello Tea Timers! Today I’m sharing with you a sweet simple card, and It’s featuring the ‘I Really Dig You‘ A4 Printed Card-stock Pack, alongside the ‘Scene Builder‘ 6×6 stencil and the ‘Pretty Pastels‘ 6×6 paper pad.

Now with this set you will get these sweet little characters coloured and pre-printed on to 200gsm cardstock. They are really good quality, but don’t take my word for it, get them and see for yourself.  There are 2 A4 sheets included along with free digital stamps so you can print and colour in your own medium as often as you like. What’s not to love about that!

Making the card:

To create the Sky and Mole hills, I have cut out a piece of white card and cut it down into a square shape. I then masked off a square section and I’ve done some ink blending using the T4TD ‘Scene Builder‘ 6×6 stencil, Salty Ocean and Gathered Twigs Distress inks from Tim Holtz and my blender brushes. Nothing to difficult, nice and simple! I adhered this to my card with double sided tape.

As these images are Pre-coloured all I needed to do was to fussy cut them out, or you can use the coordinating dies, and then I set them out to create my cute little scene.

For the Background layer I have used a sheet of the T4TD ‘Pretty Pastels‘ 6×6 paper pad and cut it down to a square. I adhered this to my card base with double sided tape.

Just Married Kitties

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here! Today’s card was a request from a friend whose niece is getting married in September. I combined the Just Married A4 Printed Cardstock and Just Married stamp set to create a personalized card in their wedding colours, navy and lavender.

I ink-blended Shaded Lilac Distress Ink on the edges of an A2 card base and set it aside.

I pressed Shaded Lilac Distress Ink onto the Cosy Sweater 6x6 Stencil, then sprayed it with water, and finally pressed Distress Watercolour Cardstock into it, letting it sit for a few minutes.

I spritzed the paper with more water, once I removed the stencil, so the colour could run. I heat set this with my Ranger Heat tool. Next, I pressed Uncharted Mariner Distress Ink onto my craft mat, spritzed it with water, and pressed the watercolour panel into it. I then added splatters of Watercolor Distress Pencils in the matching ink colours.

I ink-blended the edges of the panel with Uncharted Mariner and Shaded Lilac Distress Ink, die-cut it with a stitched rectangle die, and used double-sided tape to stick it to the card base.

I stamped the car and the balloons from the Just Married stamp set, and coloured them with Copic Markers. The rest of the images and the sentiment were from the Just Married A4 Printed Cardstock. I die-cut all of the images with the coordinating dies. I love being able to mix and match the printed images and stamped images to fit your needs!

I used liquid glue and double-sided foam tape to adhere the images to the card and added Summer Haze Designer Enamel Dots to complete the card.

Big Birthday Wishes

Hey all! I'm here sharing an adorable card featuring Time for Tea Designs.

I love using big word dies as a focal point for a card. For this card, I took the "Big Birthday Wishes" die and cut it out in white cardstock. I used "Seedless Preserves" Distress Oxide to do an ombre ink blend on the word dies.

I attached it on a card panel and I used the same ink to ink blend the edges of the card.

I added a few critters from the "Treat Cart" stampset to add touches of adorable-Ness to this card!

Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks for Listening

Hi. Design team member Koren Wiskman here. I hope that I can inspire you to create something fun with all of these awesome T4TD supplies. Today I am using the Let's Chat Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies as well as the Speech Bubble Dies to create this project.

Background

This scene was easy to create. I grabbed an old cloud edge stencil from my stash and several shades of ink to mimic a gorgeous sunset. I used these to create a card panel with ink blended clouds. I really wanted to work with pink. Not just any pink, hot pink. So, I grabbed some hot pink cardstock from my stash and cut a scalloped circle. On top of the scalloped circle is a circle of ink blended clouds. On top of that is some grass, cut using very bright green.

Focal Images

My two critters are from the Time for Tea Designs Let's Chat Stamp Set. I stamped them on alcohol marker friendly paper using alcohol marker friendly ink, so that I could color them with my alcohol markers. I cut them out using the coordinating dies.

Sentiment

I used the T4TD Speech Bubble Dies to create a little bit of a conversation between my two critters. I heat embossed "thanks for listening" from the Let's Chat Stamp Set using white embossing powder onto that same hot pink cardstock and cut it out using the coordinating dies. The "heart emoji" is a small glossy enamel heart from my stash.

Everything is popped up using foam squares.

I hope that I've inspired you to create something today. Check out the Let's Chat Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies as well as the Speech Bubble Dies in the T4TD shop.
