Fall Thank You

Happy Fall! DT Annalisa here today, and I am sharing a fall scene with happy squirrels playing in the leaves as they prepare for winter. This card features the Jumping With Joy Clear Stamp Set from Time For Tea Designs.

To create the background, I used a scene die from my stash to die-cut mixed-media paper and then coloured the die-cut pieces with Distress Watercolour Pencils. Specifically, I used Gathered Twigs, Frayed Burlap, Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo, and Brushed Corduroy for the trees; Twisted Citron and Peeled Paint for the grass; and Salvaged Patina and Mermaid Lagoon for the sky.

Next, I assembled the scene by using liquid glue to adhere the pieces to an A2 card base. I added some extra texture by splattering white Picket Fence Distress Spray Stain with a paint brush.

Once the background was complete, I moved on to adding details. I stamped several images from the Jumping With Joy Clear Stamp Set, coloured them with Copics, and cut them out with the coordinating dies. To finish the elements, I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. The heart flowers are from Ewe Are The Best, the tiny flowers are from Just Married, and the mushrooms are from You Got Mail.

I used liquid glue and double-sided foam tape to stick the images to the card. The sentiment is from the Brighter Days Sentiment Cards, White on Black.

Hey, Congrats

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here! The first day of Fall, or autumnal equinox, arrives tomorrow, so I am sharing a card with a fall feel. It features the Birthday Fox clear stamp set from Time For Tea Designs.

For the background, I ink-blended tumbled glass and salty ocean Distress Oxides with my Beautiful Blender Brush onto Distress White Heavy cardstock by Ranger. Using a paintbrush, I added splatters of water and uncharted mariner Distress Oxide. For the grass, I ink-blended twisted citron, mowed lawn Distress Oxides and added water splatters.

I die-cut the grass with the Slimline Hillside Scene Dies and stuck this to the sky panel with liquid glue. I then added this panel to an A2 card base.

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) the foxes from the Birthday Fox clear stamp set and cut them out with my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. I did the same process with the leaves from Jumping With Joy and Bee and Butterfly from I Really Dig You.

I used liquid glue to stick the leaves to the card and double-sided foam tape for the rest of the critters.

The hey letters were die cut from black cardstock using the Hey, Hello, Hi Dies. I die cut vellum using the word shadow die in this set. I used liquid glue to adhere the letters to the shadow area and then behind the letters and stuck this to the sky area on the card.

I stamped congrats from the You’re Engaged stamp set with VersaMark ink and heat embossed using white Ultra Fine Embossing Powder by Brutus Monroe. I die-cut the sentiment using the coordinating die set. I used liquid glue to stick the congrats to the bottom of the card.

Clean and Simple Fall Card: Hogs & Kisses

Hey everyone, Lien here. Today I am sharing this card on the Time For Tea Designs Youtube Channel. I am featuring the Hogs & Kisses stamp set from Time For Tea Designs. For this card, I tried to feature some fall/ autumn themed colors in a CAS card. I hope you like it xxx

You can click HERE to watch on the Time for Tea Designs Youtube channel.

I started by coloring one of the pigs from the Hogs & Kisses stamp set from Time for Tea Designs using my copic markers (listed below). Afterwards, I used the matching dies to cut it out.

For the background, I took an A2 sized panel, after masking off an area using purple tape, I used my distress inks to create a gradient background. Afterwards, I white heat embossed the sentiment on top of this gradient.

As everything was prepped, I adhered it all together on a card base. I finished the card of using some Teardrops and glossy accents. I hope you like the card!

Beary Sweet Fall Card - Using A Sketch for Inspiration

Hello everyone!!
I hope you're having a great crafty weekend.
Today I am sharing the card I made during our FB Live on Thursday. If you missed the live be sure to watch the edited version below to see how we made this sweet slimline card!

I think this card might be one of my most favourite cards in a while :)

I love all the super cute bears and their sweet treats sat in the patterned paper pumpkin patch.

The inspiration for the card came from a card sketch & colour inspiration from Pinterest.

I was really inspired by the colours, the fall theme and the sweet treats. Our Bearing Gifts Stamp set is perfect for this theme. I teamed it up with the Spooktacular stamp set which has the cool pumpkins and the Woodland Critters which has the piles of autumn leaves.

I could also have used the leaves in the Autumn Scene Cover Die or the Coordinating Dies for the leaves in the Woodland Critters set and just cut a series of leaves from colour cardstock or patterned paper.

I used the Slimline Scalloped Trios Circle Nesting Dies to cut several pieces of patterned paper. I then cut each piece with the Landscape Edge Dies to create a variety of  hills.

I used my Copic Alcohol Markers to colour my cute images and die cut the with the coordinating dies.

I added Glossy Accents to the donuts so they looked scrumptious & glazed.

In the video I talk through how we used the sketch to inspire our card but didn't follow it literally. I love using colour palettes and sketches as a starting point for my projects, especially when I'm struggling with my mojo!

The main elements we took from the sketch were the 3 circles - our 3 bears; the colour inspiration - fall colours; the sweet theme - cookie sweater textures, donuts and coffee; the sentiment at the bottom of our card.

I absolutely loved making this card and love how it turned out. I hope you do too!

Don't forget to join us every Thursday at 8pm BST on Facebook for our weekly Crafting Live with Jo.

A list of the products I used is below.

Happy Crafting

Jo
