Coffee hugs

Hi there! Silvia’s here today with a new coffee themed card.

I started die cutting a panel using one of the "Square Label" dies and I created my own pattern on it using the amazing "Coffee Beans" stencil. I used the stencil to create different layers: I started with tea dye Distress Oxide ink and then I go on with vintage photo and ground espresso Distress Oxide inks. For the latest layer I used vintage photo Distress embossing glaze....I really love its glossy effect! I also added some splatters with clean water and with the above brown inks to add some extra texture.

I stamped images from "Snappy Before Coffee" stamp set, I colored them with alcohol markers and I cut them with coordinating dies.

I die cut the "Hugs Sentiment" three times from brown cardstock, I glued one above the other and I added to my card with the super cute alligators.

I matted the square panel with one of the sheets from the "Sweet Summer" paper pad and that's all.

Thank you so much for passing by today, I hope you'll enjoy the card. And don't forget you can get a 10% off your Time for Tea order with the code T4TSILVIA10.

Have an amazing day! Hugs, Silvia.

Favourite Technique

 Hi everyone!

It's Jane here today sharing a card I made for the recent Instahop using my favourite technique and style of card.

Have you guessed my two favourites? The technique is masking and the style is CAS (clean & simple).

I just love how a stamp is able to shine out when left uncoloured, but almost surrounded by a block of blended colours. And its's so simple to achieve.

Simply stamp and mask the image then mask a box around it, allowing some of the stamped lines to extend outside the box.  Then add your favourite colours of ink.

I used one of the mega cute elephants from You're Elephantastic which is a perfect stamp for this technique.

Thank you so much for looking today. Maybe you could give this technique a try?

Stay safe and keep crafting!

Jane

Have a brew-tiful day

Hello dear friends, Claudia here with a card that smells like coffee!!! This time our friends decide to take a walk and have a good hot coffee in the park.

For this card I used the set snappy Before Coffee  and I created the stone effect on the floor with copics, for the rest of the background I shaded the distress. For the frame I used the die  Smile Inverted Scallop Frame   and to create the border of my card I used one of the fantastic cards from the Sweet Summer paper pad    I hope you like it!!!

I wish you a wonderful week and do not forget to use the code T4TCLAUDIA10 to get a 10% discount in the shop!!

Follow Your Dreams with Unicorns in Training

Hi crafty friends!  Its Elaine here today with my final Guest Designer card.  I absolutely adore anything and everything unicorns so I had to use this Unicorns in Training set.

I stamped lots of images from the Unicorns in Training stamp set on to copic friendly cardstock.  I used some fun pink and purple copic markers to colour the mains and tails of the unicorns and for the body I used some light cool greys to give the image depth.  Here are the copic colours I used:

RV19, RV17, RV10, B66, B63, B60, V15, V12, V01, RV10, RV00, Y15, Y13, Y11, C3, C1, C00

I used the Unicorns in Training co-ordinating dies to cut out all the images and set them aside to work on the background.

Taking a piece of heavyweight white cardstock measuring 3.25" x 8.25" I began blending on Distress Ink in the shades Picked Raspberry, Blueprint Sketch and Dusty Concord in sections on the card.  I used the Time for Tea Designs Blending brushes to apply the ink and a very light hand to ensure a smooth blend.  To give the background a distressed look I splattered on some clean water with a smooth paint brush and dabbed the card with paper towel to leave some white spots.  I also added some ink splatters in the same Distress Ink colours over the co-ordinating areas to look like stars in a unicorn utopia!

I ran the distressed panel through my die cutting machine with the Slimline Scalloped Trio Circle Nesting Dies to created the three scalloped windows  I also second largest nesting rectangle to trim down the panel.  To create the panels behind the windows I blended on Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry, Blueprint Sketch and Dusty Concord on to small pieces of card slightly larger than the window openings.  I concentrated more colour at the top of the panel to give a gradient effect.

I used the largest rectangle die in the Slimline Scalloped Trio Circle Nesting Dies to cut a base from white card and adhered the two panels together.  I made my cardbase by cutting a piece of white heavyweight card to 7" x  by 8.5" and scored at 3.5 on the 7" edge.  Before applying the scalloped aperture panel to the card base I adhered the gradient panels behind the windows then secured the whole piece to the front of the cardbase.  I used liquid adhesive to adhere all my stamped images

For the sentiment I white heat embossed the word 'Dreams' and 'Follow your' on to white card stock.  I gently applied some Dusty Concord Distress Ink on the heat embossed sentiments to help everything co-ordinate.  The first part of the sentiment was cut into a thin strip and secured behind the die cut 'Dreams' to help it all blend together.

Finally, I went over (nearly all!) of the images with some Wink of Stella clear sparkle pen.  There can never be too much shimmer on a unicorn card!

That finishes up this card! Thank you so much for joining me today and I hope you have enjoyed all of my creations for Time for Tea Designs.  Take care everyone and have a great week! xxx Elaine xxx

Halloween shaker tags

Hello lovelies!

It is Natalia here today, and I hope your week is off to a good start! Did you see our Instagram hop celebrating Wold Cardmaking Day? I hope you did! I shared these two tags I made featuring the Spooky Cirlce Tags stamp set. One of them is a shaker tag, which as you know, is a technique I love! I have a reel that you can see on my IG account making it too!

The great thing about this set is that you don't need coordinating dies, you can use the simply circle die set! And for these tags, I used the Spooktacular coordinating die which I use sooo much as I find it SO versatile!

Big Birthday Wishes!

Happy Saturday Teatimer's, hope you have had a good week. To say hello to the weekend and world cardmaking we have a fun hop going on over on Instagram so make sure to check it out!
Since the weather has turned and has blown right into Autumn what better card to make than a fun Autumn themed birthday card.
It was such a fun card to make and it was so nice to get to mix some old favourites with the newer designs. I went with a blustery evening with the critters making smores, even the little hedgehog joined in with the fun. I began but cutting out the Smile Inverted Scallop Frame Die and using that as a reference to cut out a rectangle to ink up my background. With the rectangle I inked it up with pink flamingo, dried marigold and squeezed lemonade distress oxide inks. Spritzing on water to add some texture.
I die cut out the smile scalloped die again out of white card stock and then cut out the Autumn Scene cover plate die out of the inside part. Then inked up the grass pieces with twisted citron and finishing off with some splatters of mowed lawn ink, the tree was also blended with some brown distress oxides. Then they were adhered to the sunset sky we created and the frame then adhered as well.
I've been so short of time recently so I was so happy to have a stash of images already coloured up for this card. I always stamp out and colour up about 3 of each image as it's so much easier whilst you still have the pens out. So most of the images were already coloured up apart from the smores sticks and the little hedgehog. The images are from the Life's Up's and Down's stamp set I adhered all them to my card adding some dimension on some with foam pads. I just love the little hedgehog with his little smore stick he's just the cutest.
I finished off the card with the Big Birthday Wishes Die I cut it out with white cardstock and out of some rich green cardstock I like the way that the green kind of reflects leaves on the trees. Then all was left to do was to adhere it onto my card base and that was my card all finished up. I hope you like it and don't forget to join in with the insta hop. Have a Purr-fect Halloween

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here. I can't believe October is already here! My Time For Tea Designs project features the new Spooky Circle Tags Clear Stamp Set, which I paired with last years' Spooktacular Clear Stamp Set to create a large slimline Halloween card.

I used the largest die in the Slimline Scallop Nesting Dies to cut out some Distress White Heavystock by Ranger. I blended on some Distress Oxides with my Beautiful Rainbow Blender Brushes in the colours Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire, Seedless Preserves and Spiced Marmalade. I added splatters in Seedless Preserves, water and white glitter mist. I set this aside to dry.

Next, I stamped the sentiment, circles and candies from the Spooky Circle Tags set and the adorable bat from the Spooktacular stamp set. I coloured everything in with my Copics and cut them out.

I used liquid glue to adhere everything down except the cat in the circle and the two green candies; for those, I used some foam tape. This added some dimension to the card.

To finish the card, I added some white gel pen accents.
