You Make Me Smile!

Hello Tea Timers!

Michelle from the Design Team here and today I am sharing the cosiest little autumn card featuring the most adorable little bear wrapped up in his scarf amongst a gorgeous fall forest scene. This one just makes you want to pull on a chunky knit and go for a walk in the leaves!

Supplies used:

Happy Trails

Jumping With Joy

Winter Tree Die

I started by blending the most stunning autumn sky background in warm reds, coral, orange and golden yellow, which fades down beautifully from top to bottom and gives the whole card that gorgeous golden hour glow that autumn does so perfectly. A row of white birch trees cut across the background and with the warm colours bleeding through behind them, the effect is just breathtaking!

Falling all across the card is the most wonderful collection of autumn leaves in every shade of the season, rich oranges, warm yellows and fresh greens, scattered and tumbling in every direction as if the wind has just swept through the forest. It gives the card so much movement and energy and is one of those details that just makes the whole design feel really alive!

A rich earthy brown ground layer runs along the bottom of the card, speckled with texture and with a few more leaves settling down onto it. Tucked in amongst the birch trees are a couple of little red and white mushrooms, which are such a sweet and perfectly seasonal touch!

Sitting right in the centre of it all is our little bear, snuggled up in the most wonderful green checked scarf with the rosiest little cheeks, looking completely content amongst all that autumnal beauty. He is just the sweetest thing and the perfect focal point for this warm and cosy scene!

To finish everything off, the "You Make Me Smile!" sentiment is heat embossed in white on a warm brown banner tucked into the top right corner, which ties in perfectly with all those rich autumn tones and rounds off the whole card in the most charming way.

Slimline Trick Or Treat

Happy Friday, crafty friends, DT Annalisa here! 🎃

It’s time for a fun and spooky Halloween card! For today’s project, I’m featuring the adorable Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection along with the Mini Slimline Scalloped Dies from Time For Tea Designs.

I started by creating a watercolour panel and trimmed it to 3 inches by 6 inches. I then added some colour and shimmer by spraying the panel with Mermaid Lagoon and Picked Raspberry Distress Sprays. I love how these bright, vibrant colours create a fun Halloween background!

Next, I used the Mini Slimline Scalloped Dies to die-cut a border from white cardstock. I adhered the scalloped border to my inked background using liquid glue.

For the focal images, I printed images from the Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection and coloured them with my Copics. I added a few white gel pen accents to bring the images to life before cutting them out with my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e.

Once all the elements were ready, I used liquid glue to adhere the images and sentiment to the card panel. I then attached the finished panel to a white card base trimmed to 6 ½ inches by 3 ½ inches.

I love how this little card came together! The spooky purple background paired with the cute trick-or-treaters makes for such a fun and festive Halloween design. 👻🍬

Flying By To Say Hi!

Hello Tea Timers!

Michelle from the Design Team here and today I am sharing a spectacular pop up platform card featuring the most daring little aviator bunny soaring through the skies!

The box card shape is just perfect for this design because it gives so much room for the scene to really explode upwards and outwards in the most dramatic and delightful way.

Supplies used:

Paper Plane Pals

The base of the box (or cloud surround) is decorated with the most charming collection of outlined clouds, colourful paper planes in orange and green and twinkling gold stars. It is busy and fun and has so many lovely little details to discover all the way around!

Bursting up from the centre of the box is the most wonderful sky scene, with layers of soft blue cloud clusters rising up and filling the space with such beautiful dimension. More gold stars are scattered throughout, catching the light and adding that extra touch of sparkle and magic to the whole piece.

And then right at the very top, stealing the show completely, is our heroic little brown bunny pilot! Wearing the most brilliant flying goggles and a green scarf streaming out behind him, he is riding a magnificent yellow paper plane and looking absolutely thrilled with the whole adventure. An orange paper plane zooms alongside him for company and together they make the most joyful scene imaginable!

The sentiment is split across three bold teal label tags on the front of the box, reading "Flying", "by to say" and "Hi!" in the most fun and playful way. It is such a clever and charming way to deliver the message and ties the whole theme together perfectly.

This card is just pure joy from top to bottom and would be absolutely perfect for anyone who deserves something a little bit out of the ordinary!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Life is Better with Coffee

Happy Friday! ☕ DT Annalisa here, and I’m sharing a fun summer scene featuring all things coffee, created with stamps, dies, and stencils from Time For Tea Designs. I certainly believe that life is better with coffee—especially when it’s an iced latte!

I started by die-cutting white cardstock using the Sweet Scalloped Dies. Next, I ink blended Lost Shadow and Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide through the Tiled Wall stencil. I masked off the ground area and then blended Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers Distress Ink through the Beach Scene Builder 6x6 Stencil to create the sky. To add a little extra interest and texture, I added grey splatters to the ground and blue splatters to the sky.

For the card base, I ink blended Stamperia “Coffee” dye ink onto a 5 1/8" x 3 1/2" white card base. I then adhered the scalloped panel to the card base using liquid glue.

Next came the fun part - creating all the little coffee-loving characters! I stamped images from Snappy Before Coffee, I Really Dig You, Cafe Critters, Love is In the Air, Oops a Daisy, and Cacti Critters. I coloured the images with my Copics, adding a few white gel pen accents for extra detail. I then used the coordinating dies to cut everything out.

For the sentiment, I used the Rain or Shine stamp set. I trimmed off the word “you” so I could create the sentiment “Life is better with coffee” and position it perfectly above the coffee cart.

Finally, I arranged all of the stamped images and adhered them to the card with liquid glue. I love how this little summer coffee scene came together, it’s bright, cheerful, and a perfect reminder that a good cup of coffee can make any day better! ☕💙

Thank You For All You Do!

Hello Tea Timers!

Michelle from the Design Team here and today I am sharing the most adorable little thank you card featuring the cutest gang of characters tending to the most wonderful cactus collection!

Supplies used:

Cacti Critters

I started with a clean white background with the softest blush of warm yellow blended in behind the main scene, giving it a lovely sunny glow without overpowering any of the details. A delicate scattering of gold droplets adds a touch of sparkle throughout and gives the card that extra little bit of magic!

The centrepiece is an absolute feast of gorgeous green cacti and succulents in every shape and size you can imagine, all clustered together in the most satisfying display. Tall round barrel cacti, branching multi armed varieties, neat little succulents and everything in between are all tucked into terracotta pots and a long wooden planter across the middle of the card. Pretty pink and yellow flowers bloom from several of the cacti, adding the loveliest little pops of colour amongst all that glorious green!

Then there are the characters - they are just the best! On the left, a sweet little grey mouse is carefully cradling a tiny cactus in a pot with the most proud and pleased expression. In the centre, a lovely brown bunny is diligently watering the plants with a cheerful yellow watering can. And on the right, a gorgeous calico cat is delicately holding a small flowering cactus and looking absolutely smitten with it. Together they make the most wonderful little gardening team!

To finish everything off, the "Thank You For All You Do" sentiment is stamped in clean bold lettering along the bottom of the card, sitting beautifully beneath the whole scene and delivering the most heartfelt message in the sweetest possible way.

This card is perfect for a teacher, a colleague or anyone who goes above and beyond and deserves a thank you that is anything but ordinary!

Have A Fintastic Birthday!

Hello Tea Timers!

Michelle from the Design Team here and today’s inspiration is a spectacular underwater birthday card featuring the most wonderful little ocean party. This one is deep sea fun at its very best!

Supplies used:

Fintastic Friends

Beach Buds

Eggstra Special Birthday

I started by blending a stunning underwater background in layers of teal, turquoise and deep blue, with darker silhouettes of coral and sea plants creating a gorgeous sense of depth across the scene. A generous scattering of white dots and bubbles floating up through the water adds so much life and movement and really makes the whole background feel like it is shimmering beneath the waves!

The sandy ocean floor runs along the bottom of the card in warm golden tones, scattered with pebbles, starfish and little shells which give it that wonderfully detailed and realistic feel. Swaying green seaweed frames the sides of the scene and tucks in around all the characters beautifully.

Taking centre stage is a magnificent three tiered birthday cake sitting right on the ocean floor, dripping with golden icing and decorated with shells and a starfish. It is the most fabulous underwater bake you have ever seen! Beside the cake on the left, a gorgeous purple octopus wearing a spotty party hat is waving away with the biggest smile, surrounded by a little pile of presents and a yellow starfish. On the right, the sweetest little turtle in a stripy party hat is carrying a gift and looks absolutely thrilled to be there! And floating above it all is the cheekiest little orange crab in his own party hat, claws in the air and clearly the life of the party! Little yellow fish dart around in the background adding even more fun and movement to the whole scene.

To finish everything off, the "Have a FINTASTIC birthday" sentiment is stamped in white on a bold navy banner along the sandy floor, and what a pun it is! It is the perfect finishing touch to such a show stopping card!

This card is an absolute ocean of fun and would make any birthday feel truly fintastic!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

A Moovellous 3D Birthday Card

Happy Friday, everyone, DT Annalisa here! Today I’m sharing a fun 3D birthday card featuring the adorable Ewe Are Moovellous stamp set and coordinating dies from Time For Tea Designs. I absolutely love creating little farm scenes, and this one is extra sweet with its happy sheep, bright sunshine, and even a few fresh eggs!

For the base of my card, I die-cut green cardstock using the Platform Pop-Up die from Lawn Fawn, which I also used to create the grass areas. To give the grass a little more depth and dimension, I ink-blended it with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks.

For the sky, I used the Platform Pop-Up Add-On die, die-cutting the pieces from blue cardstock. I also cut the clouds and sun included in the add-on set. I ink-blended the sun with Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed Distress Inks, while the clouds were given a soft touch of Salvaged Patina Distress Ink.

This interactive die is so much fun to put together! I followed several of Lawn Fawn’s instructional videos on YouTube to help with the assembly, and they were very helpful for getting all the pieces put together correctly.

Next, I stamped several images from the Ewe Are Moovellous stamp set and coloured them with Copic markers before cutting them out with the coordinating dies. I added a few white gel pen highlights using a Gelly Roll pen to give the images some extra detail.

Finally, I used liquid glue to adhere all of the stamped and die-cut elements to the platform pop-up, bringing the whole farm scene to life🐑💚

Wishing You A Very Happy Day!

 Hello Everyone!

Michelle from the Design Team here and today I am sharing the most gloriously summery beach card featuring a bunny and a panda who are absolutely living their best holiday lives! This one transports you straight to the seaside and I had so much fun creating every little detail!

Supplies used:
Love Is In The Air
Beach Buds

Boat Buddies

Sun Glasses - Purrfect Day

I started by blending a gorgeous warm sunset sky across the top of the card in soft yellows and peachy pinks, which gives the whole scene that dreamy golden hour glow. The sandy beach layers build up beautifully beneath it, with a lovely texture and warmth to the colouring that makes you almost feel the sun on your face!

The sparkling teal waves at the front are absolutely my favourite part of this card. The glittery shimmer across the water catches the light beautifully and really brings the whole seaside scene to life in the most magical way.

Floating in those gorgeous waves are our two holiday heroes, a cool white bunny in a bright pink and yellow ring float sporting the chicest pair of dark sunglasses, and an equally stylish panda bobbing along in a stripy teal and yellow ring with the most fabulous pink sunglasses on. These two are clearly very serious about their beach days and I am completely here for it!

Up on the sand, three tall palm trees sway across the scene, and a yellow bucket and green spade sit ready for some serious sandcastle building. Pretty shells are dotted around on sand, adding those lovely little finishing touches that make a scene feel really complete.

The whole panel is framed with a beautiful stitched scallop border which gives it a soft and polished finish, and the "Wishing You A Very Happy Day" sentiment is heat embossed in white on a vibrant teal banner across the bottom, tying all those gorgeous blues and greens together perfectly.

This card is just pure sunshine in an envelope and would be wonderful for a birthday, a summer hello or anyone who simply deserves a little holiday happiness today!

Sending Smiles Your Way!

Hello Tea Timers!

Michelle from the Design Team here and today’s inspiration is the most purr-fectly delightful card featuring three little cats who have decided that flower pots make the cosiest of homes!

Supplies used:
Love Is In The Air
Light Green Spiky Plant - Beach Buds (palm tree)
Pink Flowers - Be Slothy
Dark Green Leafy Plant - Purrfect Day
Sunflowers - Hey There Critters
Garden Tools - I Really Dig You

I started with a soft and fresh white background with the lightest hint of green blended in to give it that gentle garden feel. The whole panel is then mounted onto the most cheerful pastel diamond check border which frames everything beautifully and adds a lovely pop of colour around the edges without taking anything away from the main scene.

Taking centre stage are three chunky terracotta pots, each one housing the most adorable little cat you ever did see! On the left, a sweet white cat peeks out from a pot bursting with lush green leaves and pretty pink flowers. In the middle, a cheeky little calico cat sits surrounded by big bold heart shaped leaves spilling out everywhere. And on the right, a fluffy grey tabby cat has made itself very comfortable amongst a gorgeous bunch of bright yellow sunflowers. Each pot is so full of personality and the trio together is just completely irresistible!

Tucked in on either side are a little green garden fork and a trowel, because even the most adorable plant pots need a little tending to now and then!

To finish everything off, the "Sending Smiles Your Way" sentiment is stamped in clean bold lettering on a simple white banner along the bottom, which keeps the focus on those wonderful cats and rounds off the card in the sweetest way.

This card is perfect for a cat lover, a gardening enthusiast or anyone who simply deserves a little smile in the post today!

Birthday Party Penguin!

Hello Tea Timers!

Michelle from the Design Team here and today I am sharing the most fun and cheerful birthday card featuring the sweetest little party penguin!

Supplies used:

Warm Hugs

Balloons - Hey There Critters

I started with a bold diagonal stripe background in teal, yellow and orange which gives the card such an energetic and celebratory feel right from the start. It is bright, punchy and the perfect burst of colour to frame the scene inside!

The centrepiece sits within a lovely stitched scallop frame, giving it a clean and polished look that lets all the details really shine. Inside, a giant cupcake takes centre stage with the most beautifully striped case in teal and yellow, towering swirls of cream on top and a generous scattering of orange sprinkles. It looks absolutely delicious!

Hugging the side of the cupcake is the most adorable little penguin in a jaunty green party hat, rosy cheeked and clearly very pleased to be at this party! Three balloons in teal, orange and yellow float up above in perfectly coordinating colours, tying the whole palette together beautifully.

The whole scene has a lovely soft cream background inside the frame which lets all those bright colours breathe and keeps the focus right where it belongs, on that penguin and that magnificent cupcake!

To finish it all off, the "Happy Birthday" sentiment is stamped in bold black lettering along the bottom of the panel, clean and classic and absolutely perfect for such a joyful design.

This card is sure to make any birthday feel extra special and extra sweet!
