Slimline Trick Or Treat

Happy Friday, crafty friends, DT Annalisa here! 🎃

It’s time for a fun and spooky Halloween card! For today’s project, I’m featuring the adorable Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection along with the Mini Slimline Scalloped Dies from Time For Tea Designs.

I started by creating a watercolour panel and trimmed it to 3 inches by 6 inches. I then added some colour and shimmer by spraying the panel with Mermaid Lagoon and Picked Raspberry Distress Sprays. I love how these bright, vibrant colours create a fun Halloween background!

Next, I used the Mini Slimline Scalloped Dies to die-cut a border from white cardstock. I adhered the scalloped border to my inked background using liquid glue.

For the focal images, I printed images from the Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection and coloured them with my Copics. I added a few white gel pen accents to bring the images to life before cutting them out with my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e.

Once all the elements were ready, I used liquid glue to adhere the images and sentiment to the card panel. I then attached the finished panel to a white card base trimmed to 6 ½ inches by 3 ½ inches.

I love how this little card came together! The spooky purple background paired with the cute trick-or-treaters makes for such a fun and festive Halloween design. 👻🍬

Slimline Thank You

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here, and today I'm sharing a mini slimline thank-you card featuring stamps, dies, and a stencil from Time For Tea Designs.

To create the background, I sprayed Snow Flurries and Frosty Mind Mica Stain onto a 6" × 3" watercolour panel. Once it was completely dry, I adhered it to a mini slimline card base using liquid glue.

Next, I created the brick detail by ink blending Lost Shadow Distress Oxide through the Tiled Wall 6" × 6" Wall Stencil onto white cardstock with a blending brush. I trimmed the panel to 6" × 1" and adhered it to the card front.

I then stamped images from the Hillside Village, Sweet Village, and Darling Daffodils stamp sets. After colouring the images with Copic markers, I added white gel pen accents for extra detail. I adhered the images and sentiment to the card front.

To complete the design, I die-cut a frame from white cardstock using the Mini Slimline Scallop Dies and adhered it over the scene with liquid glue. I love how the scalloped frame neatly finishes the card and draws the eye to the sweet little village scene.

Zesty Goodness

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here, and today I’m sharing a fruit-filled mini slimline card featuring the Squeeze the Day stamp set. I absolutely love strawberries, and there’s nothing quite like enjoying them when they’re in season. Freshly picked strawberries are simply the best!

To create the background, I trimmed a piece of Distress Watercolour Paper to 6" x 3" and sprayed it with Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, and Kitsch Flamingo Oxide Sprays. Once dry, I added a white cardstock frame cut with a scalloped mini slimline die from my stash. I adhered the frame to the inked panel with liquid glue before mounting the completed panel onto a 6.5" x 3.5" card base.

For the focal images, I stamped a selection of images from the Squeeze the Day, Hello Cupcake, Fruitful Friends, Cacti Critters, and I Really Dig You stamp sets. I coloured them with Copic markers and added white gel pen highlights to bring extra detail and dimension to each image.

To finish the card, I adhered the images to the card front using a combination of liquid glue and 1mm double-sided foam tape for added depth and interest.

Love Ya Lots

Happy Friday, everyone! DT Annalisa here, and today I’m sharing an icy blue mini slimline card featuring the adorable Walrus Be Friends stamp set from Time For Tea Designs.

To create the background, I trimmed a piece of Distress Watercolour Paper to 6" x 3" and sprayed it with Peacock Feathers Distress Spritz. Once dry, I blended Peacock Feathers and Salvaged Patina Distress Ink over the panel to add depth and dimension.

Next, I used a scalloped mini slimline die from my stash to cut a frame from white cardstock. I adhered the frame to the blue panel with liquid glue and then mounted the completed panel onto a 6.5" x 3.5" card base.

For the focal images, I stamped the adorable characters from the Walrus Be Friends stamp set and die-cut them using the coordinating dies. I coloured the images with Copic markers and finished them with white gel pen highlights for added detail and interest.

Finally, I adhered the images to the card front with liquid glue and added a sentiment from the Sentiment Cards – Winter Wonderland White collection.

Lucky To Have You as a Friend

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here! Spring is finally here, and I'm excited to share a bright mini slimline card to celebrate. I created it using the Good Luck Critters and Mini Slimline Scallop Dies.

For the sky background, I sprayed Distress Spritz in Peacock Feathers and Distress Spray Stain in Salvaged Patina onto acetate. I then sprayed water on top and pressed it onto watercolour cardstock.

For the grass, I soaked Crushed Olive and Peeled Paint Distress Watercolor Pencils in water, scribbled them onto acetate, and spritzed the acetate with water. Next, I pressed the acetate onto watercolour paper, heat-setting it and spritzing it with water as needed.

I trimmed the sky and grass sections and used liquid glue to attach them to the back of the Mini Slimline Scallop Dies, which I die-cut from white cardstock.

I added double-sided foam tape to this panel and adhered it to a 6 1/2 by 3 1/2 inch card base.

For the focal points, I stamped and coloured several images from the Good Luck Critters set using Copics, and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added accents with a white gel pen using a Gelly Roll Pen.

The flowers are from the Ewe Are The Best set, and the butterfly is from the Kitty Capers set. I used foam tape to adhere the stamped elements other than the flowers, which I used liquid glue to adhere.

You're Simply The Zest

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here, my card today features the brand new Squeeze the Day stamp set. I absolutely loved colouring this set's limes, lemons and oranges.

I started by adding several drops of twisted citron Distress Paint onto my glass matt and spraying it with water. I pressed water-coloured cardstock into the paint several times to create a bright green background.

I die-cut white cardstock with the Mini Slimline Scallop Dies to create a frame for the scene. I glued the green panel to a mini slimline card and used 1mm double-sided foam tape to stick the scalloped frame around it.

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) several images from Squeeze the Day and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. The bee and watermelon are from Fruitful Friends, I stamped and coloured them and cut them out with the coordinating dies.

I adhered the images and the sentiment to the card with double-sided foam tape for dimension.

New Release - The Sweetest Friend

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here today on another beautiful new release day from Time For Tea Designs! I love being able to showcase new stamps to T4T fans. My card features the brand new Sweet On You stamp set.

I die-cut a frame with the Mini Slimline Scallop Dies and ink blended it with salvaged patina and peacock feathers Distress Ink with my Beautiful Blender Brush and added white splatter with a paintbrush, water and Copic opaque white.

I created the background by smooshing watercolour paper onto a glass mat sprayed with Cocktail Party Distress Mica Stain. I heat set this and added white splatter with a paintbrush, water and Copic opaque white. I trimmed this panel to 6 inches by 3 inches so it could fit behind the scalloped frame.

I added double-sided foam tape to the scalloped frame and stuck it to the ink-blended panel. I then used liquid glue to stick this to a mini slimline card base (6 inches by 3 1/2 inches).

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) several images from the Sweet On You and Sweet Cart Critters stamp sets and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen

I adhered the images to the card base using liquid glue or double-sided foam tape for dimension. I die-cut the sentiment using the smallest die in the Simple Slimline Nesting Dies. I use the smallest die so much for cutting out sentiments; it is so useful to have in my collection.

I added Clear Bubbles Designer Enamel Dots to complete the card.

Sweet Gingerbread Christmas

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here sharing a sweet mini slimline Christmas card featuring the Gingerbread Family - Our House to Yours stamp set from Time For Tea Designs. This is an adorable stamp set that is perfect for Christmas cards.

I die-cut dark blue cardstock using the rectangle in the Mini Slimline Scallop Die set. I sprayed the blue cardstock with Distress Mica Stain in Snow flurries. It is hard to see in photos, but I love the shimmer and shine that Mica sprays add to projects.

I used liquid glue to stick the blue panel to a wide card base (6 1/2 by 3 5/8 inches). Next, I die-cut white cardstock using the same die set to create a mini scalloped frame and used liquid glue to adhere it to the card. I added 'snow' to the sky using a white metallic marker.

I stamped and coloured (with Copics) several images (and the 'have a sweet Christmas sentiment) from Gingerbread Family - Our House to Yours and cut them out with their coordinating dies. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. The little bird is from Love Is In the Air and it was cut out with the coordinating dies.

I stuck the images to the card base using a combination of liquid glue and double-sided foam tape for dimension.

X O X O

 Hey there Tea-timers....

DT Ashlee here with you today and I have a mini slimline card to share with you all. I just love the mini slimline scallop die set, it's such a fun size to create card bases with!!

This one features the You're engaged stamp & co ordinating die collection....

To create this card I started by die cutting and arranging the base using their mini slimline scallop set. I then used the Anthony's alphas to die cut the sentiment X O X O. I die cut it twice using different coloured card stock so that I could adhere it together creating a drop shadow.

The X O X O was adhered in place with foam tape and then a sub sentiment stamped underneath "MR & MRS".

Using the You're engaged set I stamped, coloured and die cut the images. These were all coloured using Spectrum noir tri-blend markers with a touch of white gel pen highlights.

I adhered the images in place also using foam tape and then completed the card with some pretty bling sequins!!

That's all for todays card, I hope you enjoyed it and it inspired you to make a mini slimline card. Happy crafting, hugs Ashlee.

Loads of love

 Hey there Tea-timer friends

It's DT Ashlee here today and I'm sharing a card I made using this set from the brand new Time for Tea designs release....

- Loads of Love stamp & co-ordinating die collection

Along with these previously released die sets....

- Mini slimline scallop dies

Purrfect day scene builder dies

I just love making these mini slimline cards and I thought it would be the perfect base for a little laundry scene....

To start making the card I created my base by die cutting the mini slimline pieces and adding in a background using a piece of paper from the Pretty pastels paper pack. I then die cut a window/curtains and shelf using the Purrfect day scene builder dies and adhered those onto the base!

I directly stamped the sentiment loads of love onto the patterned paper using a black ink. Time for the cute images....

I stamped, coloured and die cut a whole bunch of cuteness from the Loads of love set and arranged them into the laundry scene!!
(these were all coloured using Spectrum noir tri-blend markers).

To complete the card I added some highlights to the images using a white gel pen and then some sequins for a little bling!!

I think this scene turned out super cute, what do you think?! I hope you enjoyed it. If you haven't already you totally need to check out the new Time for Tea designs release because it is so awesome. Trust me you need them in your crafty life hehe....

Thanks for stopping by today, happy crafting and hugs Ashlee.

L O V E mini slimline shaker with Ashlee

Hey there Tea-timers...

It's Valentine's week at Time for Tea designs which means daily inspiration full of Love. So for today I have a shaker card to share with you all that I made inspired by the candy heart lollies that you can get....

To create this card I started by die cutting the card base/shaker frame from the Mini slimline scallop die. I then die cut a bunch of hearts using the Stitched hearts cover die from shades of pink and grey cardstock before adhering them to the card base.

Now that those steps were complete it was time to fill the shaker with a whole bunch of gorgeous embellishments before adhering to the base to seal it all in!

It's always so much fun to fill a shaker with a bunch of pretty things and then give it a good ol shake don't you think?!

I wanted a big bold sentiment so I die cut the letters L O V E using Anthony's alpha die set from grey and black cardstock. The two layers were adhered together with liquid glue slightly off set to create a shadow....

The sub sentiment I heat embossed with WOW! Opaque bright white embossing powder on black cardstock.

All the sentiments were then adhered on the top of the shaker along with the cute penguin that was stamped, coloured and die cut from the It's penguin-ing to look a lot like Christmas set. (Coloured using Spectrum noir tri-blend alcohol markers)

That complete's the Valentines shaker card and now it's ready to shake, shake, shake!

Have you made a valentine's card or planning to create some?!
Be sure to check out all the design team's inspiration this week because they sure have some fabulous cards to shared and inspire you with...

Happy crafting, hugs Ashlee.

Penguin Christmas

Hello and happy Friday. DT Annalisa here today sharing a mini slimline Christmas card with a punny sentiment - oh, how I love a good pun! I used the new It's Penguin-ing to Look A Lot Like Christmas stamp set and the coordinating dies from Time For Tea Designs.

I began by creating an ink-blended background with four Distress Oxide inks (Chipped Saphire, Seedless Preserves, Worn Lobstick and Antique Linen) and my Beautiful Rainbow Blender Brushes. I added both white and silver metallic watercolour splatter to the panel.

I stamped, coloured and die-cut all the images and added white gel pen accents. I applied glue to small areas of each image with a Quickie Glue Pen, dipped these areas into Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter and tapped off the excess.

I die-cut the scalloped frame using the Mini Slimline Scallop Dies and used liquid glue to adhere it to the ink-blended panel. I then die-cut the rectangle panel using the same die set and ink-blended it with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide. I used double-sided tape to adhere both panels to a card base.

I glued or used double-sided foam tape to adhere all stamped images and sentiments to the card.

Happy times village

 Hey there Tea-timer friends...

DT Ashlee here with some new T4T inspiration for you!!

For this card I used these Time for tea designs products :

To create this card I started by die cutting all my base pieces from the Mini scallop slimline die set from different colours of cardstock. Once I had those all adhered to make my card base I started to bring my scene together by stamping, colouring and die cutting images from both the Sweet village and Hey there critters sets.

I coloured up all the images with Spectrum noir tri-blend markers....

I love dimension on my cards so I used different levels of foam tape to adhere the scene.

A small sentiment "Happy times" from the Simple sentiments set was stamped on white cardstock using black ink and then mounted in green cardstock and then the whole card was completed by adding a touch of sequins!!

Do you like this mini happy times village card? I'm so happy with how cute it turned out...

Thanks for stopping by the blog today, I hope you feel inspired to get creative!!
Happy crafting, Hugs Ashlee.
