Let's Party!

 Hello Tea Timers!

Design Team member Michelle here and today’s card, we have some cute critters having the best birthday party ever, complete with all your favourite must haves!

Supplies used:

Let’s Party

Bunting - Trick Or Treaters

Cherry Cake - Baked With More Love

Large Balloon - Hey There Critters

The background is some orange striped cardstock with some white splatters added to give it the confetti look as well as adding extra texture.

I anchored the scene with a big banquet table bursting with treats. There’s jelly, cupcakes, lemonade and more, all coloured to match the bright and festive palette. The little party guests are so sweet with their excited faces and gift-bearing paws. I especially love how the bunting along the table ties everything together so neatly.

The bold “Let’s Party” sentiment heat embossed onto black cardstock across the top really brings the energy. This card is perfect for birthdays, celebrations or just a reason to smile.

Pumpkin Fun!

Hello everyone!

Michelle here from the Design Team with a fun and festive card featuring my two favourite happy crocs on the hunt for the perfect pumpkin. They’ve made their way to the patch, and it looks like they’ve found the one!

Supplies used:

Snappy Before Coffee

Giant Pumpkin - Pumpkin Spice

Pumpkins - Trick Or Treaters

Fence - Ewe Are Moovellous

Pumpkin vines - Purrfect Day

Bold Sentiments

To create the scene, first, I ink blended soft clouds for the sky using Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide. Next I die cut 4 hillsides - 1 from white card stock that I ink blended with Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover Distress Oxides. For the remaining 3 hillsides, this was going to be the mud/ground that the pumpkins are growing in so I die cut them out of kraft card stock to help make things a bit quicker. I added a little bit of ink blending and splattered with Vintage Photo and Ground Espresso Distress Oxide to give it more depth.

I added rows of pumpkins and a cute pick-your-own sign behind a white picket fence to build the scene - all the images were all either stamped or printed and then coloured with alcohol markers.

The crocs were coloured in bright greens to pop against all those rich autumn tones, and I just love how joyful they look with their prize pumpkin.

For the sentiment, I picked a simple one from the Bold Sentiments stamp set - ‘You are awesome’ as I think it says it all.

To complete the card, I adhered it to some white card stock, leaving a thin frame around it before mounting it onto a card base that I had ink blended a gingham pattern using Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide.

Thanks for visiting today. Hope you’re enjoying all the autumn crafty goodness!

Halloween Critters!

Hello everyone!

Design Team member Michelle here with a spooky-cute Halloween card that’s ready for a frightfully fun night. This little crew of costumed critters has taken over the pumpkin patch and turned it into their very own haunted celebration.

Supplies used:

Hey There Critters

Jumping With Joy

Trick or Treaters Digital Stamps

Candles - Home Sweet Home

Simple Circle Dies

First, I stamped and printed all the images I needed. For the critters, I used a black fine liner to add details so that they were all dressed for the occasion - it was a hard to decide which critter would be which character as I had so many ideas!

The night sky was blended with Wilted Violet, Chipped Sapphire, Salty Ocean and Black Soot Distress Oxides giving wonderful hues of purples and blues, with splattered stars and a glowing moon to set the scene.

The moon was cut from white cardstock using a Simple Circle die before being ink blended around the edges with Weathered Wood Distress Oxide as well as using a stencil for the moon craters and adding a touch of glitter!

I added soft clouds to the sky to give it that extra spooky feel, a row of gravestones and pumpkins tucked in amongst them to build a playful background for the bunny vampire, bat mouse and sweet little Franken-squirrel.

The sentiment brings it all together. Have a spooktacular fright night. This card is perfect for Halloween happy mail or to add some fun to your festive decorations.

Wishing you a night full of costumes, candy and just the right amount of spooky!

Too Cute to Spook Cuties

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here today! We’re just one week away from Halloween, and I’m back with another cute and spooky handmade card featuring digital stamps and dies from Time For Tea Designs. 🎃

I started by using two Rounded Corner Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut a frame from some plaid-patterned paper in my stash. For the background, I blended Wilted Violet Distress Watercolour Pencil with a few sprays of Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide. Once I was happy with the blend, I heat-set the panel and trimmed it down to 3¼" x 4¾" so it would fit neatly behind my plaid frame.

Next, I used the larger of the two rounded corner dies to create my card base, then adhered the background panel with liquid glue.

For the sentiment, I chose the Too Cute To Spook sentiment dies. I cut the phrase twice, once from white cardstock and once from black. I coloured the white layer with a purple Copic marker and added a shimmer mist to the black layer for extra sparkle. To make the sentiment pop, I glued the two layers slightly offset, then attached it to the card front with liquid glue.

To bring my Halloween scene to life, I used the Spooky Circle Tags Clear Stamp Set for the candy and the Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection for the cat and pumpkin. I cut out all the images using my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e, then coloured them with Copic markers and added highlights using a white gel pen for extra detail.

Finally, I arranged the stamped images on my background, securing them in place with a mix of liquid glue and double-sided foam tape to add some fun dimension.

Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out my latest project. ðŸ‘»ðŸ§¡

Trick Or Treat!

Hello everyone!

Michelle here from the Design Team with a Halloween card that’s full of treats, colour and a little magical mischief. These critters are all dressed up and ready for a spooktacular night of candy and fun!

Supplies used:

Trick or Treaters Digital Stamps

Hey There Critters

Sweets - Sweet Village

Gems and potion - Queen For A Day

Jars - Sweet Cart Critters

Book - Purrfect Day

Pinecone - Jumping With Joy

A5 Woodgrain Stamp

To start, I made the purple brick wall by ink blending Wilted Violet Distress Oxide with a brick stencil. I also used a little bit of Black Soot Distress Oxide around the edges to give it dimension. The wall gives the perfect backdrop for this spooky scene, with wooden shelves full of potions, gems, jars of unknowns and other special ingredients for a spell or two to make the most amazing treats. These were all taken from various Time for Tea stamp sets so shop your stash as you’ll find some great finds!

Next, I stamped, printed and coloured the characters in their cute costumes, including a little mummy cat, ghost cat and bunny witch, and filled the cauldron with glittery candy pieces to bring it all to life.

The sentiment adds the final festive touch. This was heat embossed with ink and white powder onto black cardstock before cutting out with a banner sentiment die. This card would be perfect for sending some Halloween cheer without any tricks.

Wishing you a day full of fun, sweets and a little crafty magic!

Halloween Kitties

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here, and I am sharing a fun Halloween card that features stamps, a stencil, and patterned paper from Time For Tea Designs.

Using the Movie Star 6 x6" Stencil, watercolour paper, and distress sprays, I created the stencilled background. First, I placed the stencil on the watercolour paper and sprayed Dusty Concord Distress Oxide Spray. After removing the stencil, I set the background with my Ranger Heat tool. Then, to fill in the white spaces, I sprayed Salvaged Patina Distress Spray Stain. Black watercolour splatter added extra interest as a finishing touch.

When the panel was dry, I used the Rounded Corner Stitched Rectangle Dies to trim it. I also cut a piece of patterned paper from the Halloween 2022 Digital Paper Collection using a stitched rectangle die. After preparing both layers, I glued the stencilled background on top of the patterned paper.

These two finished panels were placed on an A2 card base. Beforehand, I had covered the base with plaid paper from my stash.

I used stamps from Haunted House (sentiment), Jumping With Joy (leaves), and Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection (cat and ghost cat). I used my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e to cut out the digital images and cut the leaves out using the Jumping With Joy coordinating dies.

After colouring all of the images with Copics, I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. I attached the images to the card base with liquid glue or foam tape for added dimension.

I added sparkles to the edges of some images with a Quickie Glue Pen and Lawn Fawn Prisma Glitter.

Halloween Night Kitty

Happy Friday, DT Annalisa here! I’m sharing a sparkly Halloween card using the Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection and the Too Cute To Spook sentiment dies. These work well together to create seasonal cards.

I created the background using watercolour paper, a moon stencil, and Distress Spray Stains. I added temporary adhesive to the moon mask, then used Uncharted Mariner, Mermaid Lagoon, and Lost Shadow Distress Spray Stains. Next, I sprayed Snow Flurries Mica Stain for sparkle.

I removed the mask and blended Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide and Lemon Drop by Gina K Designs. I spritzed water on the background, letting some blue ink bleed over the moon for a spooky effect. I used a stitched rectangle die to trim the panel, and stuck it to a black card base using liquid glue.

Next, I used Seedless Preserves and Wilted Violet Distress watercolour pencils on watercolour paper. To create the effect, I softened the pencils in water, scribbled them on a craft mat, and spritzed the ink with water. I pressed the watercolour paper into the ink and then heat-set the ink with a heat gun in between. I repeated this process until I had a textured panel, which I then die-cut using the Too Cute To Spook sentiment dies.

I also cut the sentiment from black cardstock and glued it behind the purple sentiment, slightly offset. I used liquid glue to adhere the sentiment to the card base.

I printed the pumpkin and kitty from the Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection and cut out the images with my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e. The porcupine, leaves, acorn, and pine cone are from Jumping With Joy, which I die-cut with the coordinating dies. I coloured all of the images with my Copic markers and adhered them to the card base with liquid glue.

Spooky Pumpkins

Halloween is next week, so I am finishing my spooky card series with a cute purple card. Once again, I used the versatile Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection. I paired this with two die sets and enamel dots from Time For Tea Designs.

For the background, I ink-blended spun sugar, shaded lilac and villainous potion Distress Oxides with my Beautiful Blender Brushes. I added black and silver metallic watercolour splatter with water and a paintbrush. I used double-sided tape to adhere the panel to an A2 card base.

I die-cut Neenah Metalic Chalice Silver cardstock with the Zig Zag Frame & Tag Dies and used double-sided tape to stick it to the card.

I used Anthony's Alpha Dies to die-cut the letters 'BOO' from cardstock that I had coloured with twisted citron Distress Paint that I watered down. I love the bright green backgrounds you can create with Distress paint. I die-cut the same letters from black card stock and used liquid glue to stick them together with the black offset slightly to create a shadow effect.

I stamped "Trick Or Treat" from the Spooky Circle Tags clear stamp set (2021), along with leaves from Jumping With Joy and Stinkin’ Cute. I printed the pumpkins and kitty from the Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection and cut out the images with my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e.

I coloured the images with Copics and added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. I adhered the image, letters and sentiments to the card base using liquid glue or double-sided foam tape for dimension.

I added Designer Enamel Dots from the Summer Haze collection, to complete the card.

Halloween Kitties

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here with a cute kitty Halloween card to share using the Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection and Haunted House (which is on sale right now!) Clear Stamp Set.

I created the background by spraying spiced marmalade and candied apple Distress Oxide spray onto watercolour cardstock and heat setting it. I used double-sided tape to stick it to a white card base.

Next, I used black glitter cardstock and die-cut the frame from Smile Inverted Scallop Frame Dies. I used double-sided tape to stick it to the card base.

For the grass area, I ink blended mowed lawn, rustic wilderness and black soot Distress Oxides using my Beautiful Blender Brushes. I added splatter with water, silvery green watercolour and a paintbrush.

I die-cut the grass with the Slimline Hillside Scene Dies and Smile Inverted Scallop Frame dies. This allowed me to use liquid and snap it into place along the base of the card.

I stamped the 'Happy Halloween' sentiment from the Haunted House clear stamp set, along with leaves, an acorn and a pine cone from Jumping With Joy and Stinkin' Cute. I printed the kitties and pumpkin from the Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection and cut out the images with my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e.

I coloured the images with Copic markers and added white gel pen accents. I stuck the images down to complete the card with either liquid glue or 1mm thick double-sided foam tape.
