 Hello crafty friends. It's Thursday and time for my usual DT post for Time For Tea Designs. This week I have a rather bright card featuring a cute scene, of course with critters...

For this card I used Time For Tea Car Critters Stamp Set and the bunny from the Up, Up & Away Stamp Set. I stamped the images and coloured them with my copics. I then die cut them with the coordinating Car Critters Dies and Up, Up & Away Dies. I paper pierced the car using some paper from the Brighter Days 6x6 Paper Pad. I created the background panel by blending some pink inks with the Chic Chevrons Stencil. For the scene panel I used the Scene It Stencil with some blue ink to create the clouds. I blended a little green ink onto white card then die cut it with the grass die from the Landscape Edge Dies. I then die cut the road using the Slimline Hillside Scene Dies. I added all the images onto the scene with foam pads and added a sentiment from the Brighter Days Sentiment Cards. To finish I added a enamel dot to each side of the sentiment.

CAS new home card

Hello tea timers! 

It is DT Natalia back with you today! I have a card that was inspired by the CAS queen - yes, Cathy Zielske! 

How do you feel about CAS cards? I love seeing them but I sometimes struggle to keep it minimal. I do however want to try and make more of them! 

I chose to feature the Hillside Village stamp and die set. I love house stamps, and this was perfect for this technique. 

I started off by making a rainbow coloured panel with some Izink Spray inks. I bought these long ago and haven’t used them much, but they really are lovely to make backgrounds. I sprayed a bit of each colour onto some watercolour cardstock and then sprayed Perfect Pearls water onto it so the colours move nicely. The Perfect Pearls water gives it a beautiful shimmery effect which is hard to capture on pictures! 

I then stamped the houses stamp from the Hillside Village set and used white WOW embossing powder with it and then cut out the houses silhouette with the coordinating die. 

To give the background some interest, I used the chic chevron stencil to do some dry embossing on a white panel which was cut to 3.75x4.75” - this is a great technique to give your cards some dimension! 

I put it all together and used a sentiment from the Brighter Days Sentiment Cards. I used a few sequins and gems from my little things from Lucy to finish it off.

Be Slothy

Hello crafty friends, it's Kitty here with my usual Thursday afternoon post. Today I am sharing a fun Slimline card featuring some cute sloths...

For this card I used the Be Slothy Stamp Set to create all the images. I stamped them in black ink, coloured them with copics and cut them out. To create the background I die cut kraft card using the medium Slimline Scallop Nesting Dies. I then die cut the panel using Tulip Aperture Slimline Die to create the shaker windows. I used the Chic Chevron Stencil with a little brown ink to add a bit of patterned to the panel. I added acetate onto the back of the panel, sequins and fixed it onto some blue card. I mounted the panel onto card and onto a slim card base. I added each of the images onto the panel with glue and foam pads along with some stamped sentiments from the same stamp set.

Hello Teatimers! 

DT Natalia with you today again - are you enjoying the lovely weather? I certainly am!

Today, I have another card I made with the cute You Got Mail stamp set, I cannot resist this set, I love it!

I used white ink on top of my inked blended background with the new Chic Chevrons stencil, which I find super cool!

Colouring the snail homes in a rainbow colour was totally inspired by the awesome Mona Toth - she shares colour guides on her profile, which I find both helpful and inspiring. It was lots of fun and I really think it makes the cute snails pop! I used my Spectrum Noir markers, and the colours I used are:

• Purples: HB1, LV1
• Pinks: BP2, BP5
• Oranges: BO1, OR2
• Yellows: CT1, CT2
• Greens: LG1, LG3
• Blues: BT1, BT3
• Snail body: PP1, PP3

I finished it off with a white heat embossed sentiment, which has a 4 layer dimension! And of course, some gems from My Little Things from Lucy's cards.
