Thank You Piggy Card

Hello DT Vic popping in today with an easy Thank You card. This card is also great to make in batches as you can never have to many Thank You cards.

For my thank you card I wanted to have a soft card with some cute critters. I started with a light grey card base and trimmed a piece of white card down for my card panel. Using this white I piece I used the Small Hearts XOXO Dies. I used the heart with stitched and embossed the die onto my card a number of times.

I adhered this piece onto my card using foam tape. Next I used the Thank You Sentiment Die and using some light pink card I die cut the Thank You out three times and adhered them together. I added three layers to add some dimension to the words but you can just die cut this once and add foam tape to the back.

Once I adhered this to the middle of my card I stamped out my images. I used the Workout Pigs Stamp and Dies. I love these cute pigs so much and I thought it would be super fun to add them to my card. I coloured the pigs in with my copic markers and then using the coordinating dies I run them through my die cutting machine. I then adhered them onto my card using foam tape.

To finish my card off I added some hearts using the Scattered Hearts Cover Plate Die. I always keep some of the hearts that the die cuts out as they are the perfect size to add to your cards so if you have this die make sure to save some of the hearts for your next card. I then stamped my sentiment using the Be Kind Be You Stamp Set. I used a light pink ink to blend with the rest of the card.

I hope you have fun making your own thank you cards. Don’t forget you can catch Jo live tonight at 8pm on our Facebook page.

Thanks Mum Watercolour Bouquet

Happy Wednesday!

It's DT Shabneez here with a bouquet perfect to thank Mum for everything.  It's funny as after having children of my own I appreciate everything my Mum has done for me so much more.

The flowers and leaves from the Spring Blooms Die Set were all die cut from watercolour card and I used my watercolour palette with a water pen to paint them all.  I arranged them in a bouquet made with tissue paper and tied with some twine.

The MUM sentiment was die cut out with watercolour card and I painted it with an ombre effect using my watercolour palette.  The other sentiments from the Mum & Dad Clear Stamp Set were stamped, die cut and stuck on the card.

All these dies and stamps will be featured on Create & Craft this Sunday.  In the meantime don't forget you can get 10% off anything in store using my code T4TSHABNEEZ10.

Happy Crafting!

Thank You Scene Card

Hello Vic here today. I’m sharing with you a really sweet card I made using the Up, up & Away stamp set. I love this stamp set as it has the cute bunny in the hot air ballon and the windmill.

To make my card I wanted to create a pretty sky so I used the Scene It Stencil  along with some pretty soft distress inks and my Beautiful blending brushes. I added some green ink to the bottom of the card to look like grass.

I then stamped my Up, up & Away stamp  images and I also used the clouds from the Buzzing For You Stamp Set and coloured them in with a light peach colour. I then stamped some flowers and added a hedgehog from the Life’s Up’s and Downs Stamp Set

I used my copic markers to colour the images in and my Coordinating Dies and run them through my die cutting machine. Once all my images are die cut I adhered the ink blended panel to my card base and started to adhere the images onto my card using foam tape. I then wanted to add another critter to my card and I stamped a dragonfly and some cute cats from the Crafty Cats Stamp Set and adhered this down. For my greeting I used the thank you sentiment stamp from Fairy Garden Stamp Set.

I love how this turned out and I think they look so cute all together on the card. I hope you feel inspired to mix up your stamps and make some cute scenes. It’s really fun to do even though the colouring took a little while it’s so worth it. Another tip I have is sometimes I stamp lots of images together and colour them and I keep them in a clear plastic sleeve to use on my cards. That way you can make your cards a bit quicker if you needed to.
