A Cute Cafe Scene

Happy Thursday, Tea Timers!  It's Amanda here!  Today I'm sharing how I used my yellow cardstock cutouts from my last blog post.

I have created my layers for my card base using a white A2 card base, an ink blended layer (using Maker Forte's Blue Moon and Lady Liberty Inks) and then my yellow cutouts.  On my yellow cutouts, I ink blended the Tiled Wall Stencil with Yellowstone ink.  I also splattered some white and black paints on my background.

Next, I die cut some clouds using the Cloud Dies.
I stamped some images from the Cafe Critters Stamp Set and then colored them with OLO Markers.
My sentiment came from the Let's Chat Stamp Set.  I stamped it on black cardstock with clear glue ink, then applied white embossing powder.  I melted the embossing powder with my heat tool and then die cut it out with the coordinating die.
I assembled my card using liquid glue and 3D foam squares.

That's it for me today, friends! Thanks for stopping by the Time for Tea Blog today!  See you here next week! Xx, Amanda

Cute Sloth Video Tutorial

Hi DT Vic here today and I have a fun Resist Embossing video.

I absolutely adore the Be Slothy Stamp set and I just had to use them for my video today. I also made the background using the smaller images in the stamp set. In the video you will see how I created this background.

I used some Distress Ink ( Scattered Straw, Worn Lipstick and Tumbled Glass) along with my Beautiful Blending Brushes for the colours on my background. I started by using Versamark ink and sprinkling WOW Bright White Embossing Powder over the top. I heat set this and added the inks.

I then stamped and coloured my images using the following Copics: E23, E25, E27, E53, E55, E74, E79, YG91, YG93. I added these onto my card and die cut the sentiment using the Big Birthday Wishes Sentiment Die.

I loved how this turned out in the end. I hope you enjoy the Video and don't forget you can save 10% off your orders using the code: T4TVICKI10 at the checkout to receive 10% off your orders.

Have a lovely weekend!

Embossing onto Vellum Christmas Tag Video Tutorial

Hello DT Vic here today and I am sharing a fun Christmas video tutorial. I have made some Christmas tags that are really fun to make and will give your gifts an extra bit of sparkle.

I made three Christmas tags today and I show you in the video how to emboss onto vellum. I really love how effective this is and it adds a touch of glam to your crafts. I used the Memory Keeping Essential Dies to make my tags. I love the size of these tags and I think they are great to use a gift tag. For my images I used the Skating By Penguins Clear Stamp Set. I also used the Santa Paws Clear Stamp Set for some of my greetings. Another stamp which was super fun to use was the Squiggly Giggly A7 clear Stamp Set. I loved how this turned out on my tag. For the snowflakes I used the dies from the Falalala Scalloped Slimline Die

The copic markers I used to colour the critters are:

BV23, BV25, E40, R81, R83, BG11, BG32, YR21, R20

I added some ribbon to the top of my tags once my images were adhered down. To finish the tags off I then added the die cut snowflakes and some sequins. You will also see in the video that I chopped off the end of a stamp for my greeting. This is because I wanted the greeting Love From Santa, but if I wanted to use the whole greeting its easy to line the stamps up on my acrylic block. You can also mask off the end of the stamp if you didn't want to cut your stamp.

I hope you enjoy the video today and give embossing onto vellum a try if you haven't already tried it. Don't forget to show us your crafts we love seeing them.

Halloween Shaker Card Video Tutorial

Hello DT Vic here with you today and I have made a fun video tutorial that’s perfect for Halloween. I love creating Halloween cards they are always so fun to make.

In my video I show you the steps on how to create a fun slimline shaker card.

I went for traditional colours using black, purple, green and orange. You can of course use whatever colours you want for your card. The products I used are:

Slimline Postage Frames Die

Slimline Scalloped Nesting Dies

Starry Sky 6x6 Stencil

Spooky Circle Tags Clear Stamp Set

Spooktacular Clear Stamp Set

Beautiful Blending Brushes

For the shaker background I done some emboss resist this is fun technique to try and I also show you how to create different compartments for your sequins so you can add different colours of sequins to each heart. I used my copics to colour my images and the greeting is a SVG cut file that says Happy Halloween.

I hope you enjoy the video tutorial and have fun creating some Halloween shaker cards.

You can also save 10% off your order using the code: T4TVICKI10 at the checkout including the new release too!

Have a lovely day!

Quick Clean and Simple Card using your Stash

Do you have lots of coloured images that you just haven't used yet? Or backgrounds that you've created that you've not put on a project? I know I do. Today's card can be adapted to any of your images and backgrounds to make a quick, clean and simple card.

Please check out the video below to see how easily this card came together.

The images I used were coloured during a Facebook Live on Thursday evening. I also stamped and heat embossed my Plaid rug. I used a emboss resist technique to add my colour and then cut to size.

Why not try using a stamped or ink blended background you have in your stash, cut it down and add some of your cute critters?

I added a simple sentiment to the card base in Versafine Ink and some pretty sequins.

My bears had been water coloured using Arteza Water Brush Markers and I added Stickles to the donut glaze and Glossy Accents to the juice bottle.

If you would like to see the process of colouring my little bears and how I created the Plaid rug you can watch the Live replay of the Facebook Live on YouTube below,
or our Facebook page.

I hope you like todays' project. Be sure to follow the Blog and our Social Media for more projects in the future.

Hugs Jo
XOXO

Thank You Piggy Card

Hello DT Vic popping in today with an easy Thank You card. This card is also great to make in batches as you can never have to many Thank You cards.

For my thank you card I wanted to have a soft card with some cute critters. I started with a light grey card base and trimmed a piece of white card down for my card panel. Using this white I piece I used the Small Hearts XOXO Dies. I used the heart with stitched and embossed the die onto my card a number of times.

I adhered this piece onto my card using foam tape. Next I used the Thank You Sentiment Die and using some light pink card I die cut the Thank You out three times and adhered them together. I added three layers to add some dimension to the words but you can just die cut this once and add foam tape to the back.

Once I adhered this to the middle of my card I stamped out my images. I used the Workout Pigs Stamp and Dies. I love these cute pigs so much and I thought it would be super fun to add them to my card. I coloured the pigs in with my copic markers and then using the coordinating dies I run them through my die cutting machine. I then adhered them onto my card using foam tape.

To finish my card off I added some hearts using the Scattered Hearts Cover Plate Die. I always keep some of the hearts that the die cuts out as they are the perfect size to add to your cards so if you have this die make sure to save some of the hearts for your next card. I then stamped my sentiment using the Be Kind Be You Stamp Set. I used a light pink ink to blend with the rest of the card.

I hope you have fun making your own thank you cards. Don’t forget you can catch Jo live tonight at 8pm on our Facebook page.

You can also save 10% off your order using the code: T4TVICKI10 at the checkout.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
