Cutie Driver

Hello, DT Kitty here. It's my turn today to share my latest card. I decided to make a cute scene with some different ink combos and of course some cute critters had to feature...

I always love using pink and green on cards and actually it does blend together quite nicely. I created the background first by blending Kitsch Flamingo, Spun Sugar and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks. I splattered the background with some white ink and some water. I used the clouds dies from the Landscape Edge Dies to create the clouds which I cut from white card and vellum. I used the road die from the Slimline Hillside Scene Dies to create my road. I used the You Are Awesome Sentiment Dies to create my sentiment. I used the Car Critters Stamps & Dies (also sold separately) and coloured in the images. I popped them onto foam pads along with the sentiment and added them onto the card. To finish I added a few gems and sequins.

Supplies;

Time For Tea Designs Dies - Car Critters, You Are Awesome, Landscape Edges, Slimline Hillside Scene

Awesome Bubbles

Hello, DT Kitty here. Sometimes it's nice to just make a simple with minimal products. It's always a challenge for me and I swear they take longer but sometimes less is more. I really wanted to show that you can use just a couple of products to make a striking card so for this weeks card for Time For Tea Designs I did just that...

I created the background first. I used the new Bokeh Bubbles Stencil along with my Distress Oxide Inks. I blended the lightest colours first then the others in brightness order. I masked several of the bubbles so I only got the ones I wanted and it wasn't too overcrowded. I mounted the panel onto lilac card then stright onto a card base. I used the You Are Awesome Sentiment Die to create the sentiment. I die cut it from black and white card and layered it together. To finish I added some Iridescent Rain Drops.

Thank you for joining me today, I will be back next week with another creation. Don't forget to check out more cards from the rest of the team throughout the week.

You are Elephantastic Take 2!

Happy Saturday everyone, have you been enjoying the sunshine this week? It’s been far too hot for the craft room and my mojo seems to have disappeared at the worst time. I needed to make some quick teacher cards and presents though, but what to do when your brain is hot and bothered and the ideas aren’t coming?!

Everyone seemed to love my elephant card from the other week so I decided to make a couple more of those. I then mixed it up a little for the other teacher adding a little green to the mix and a different elephant. It adds a more masculine feel but I still like that it has a cuteness to it. Mixing up old designs is a great way to get the ideas flowing and to make quick cards.

For my card you can find all the details for on my previous blog post here just with the change of green oxides and a different elephant. Alongside that though I wanted to make some message sticks to add to my presents. I got three little succulents from IKEA and I wanted to add a little message to them. To do this I used the You are Awesome sentiment die

I cut the outline out twice once in white card-stock and again in white fun foam and layered them on top of each other. Then for the You are awesome sentiment I coloured up the white cardstock with some Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide ink and then cut it out. With it being small it's much easier doing it this way around. To make sure my letters were all lined up when adding it onto the foam and card base I used the negative die cut as a template. Laying it over the top and piecing the letters back in that way. Its a bit fiddly but its the best way I've found to get them centred, straight and the same width between the letters. I made three of these one for each plant once the top was all finished I got out my wooden skewers and chopped them down to size I went so they were just a little taller than the plant. To stick them together I used my glue and stuck it at the back if you wanted you could also add a little peg and add a little note underneath but I didn't think about that until after typically lol!

So that's my project finished up for this week I hope you like it those message sticks are perfect for all occasions I've made Christmas ones before, you could also do Happy Birthday ones wherever your imagination takes you. If you want to get ay of the products I used today in the shop or anything else you can get 10% off your order using code T4TNATALIE10. Have a great weekend and I will see you all next week.

You Are Awesome

Hello crafty friends, it's Kitty here. So today I am sharing a bright and simple card that I made just using sentiments...

I thought it would be different to show that you can use just dies on a card and make them the focal point. For this card I used Time For Tea Designs You Are Awesome Sentiment Dies. I die cut it from black and white card and layered it together. I die cut  the little stars from white glitter card. They are very sparkly in real life just unfortunately it doesn't pick up well in the photo. I created a rainbow splash effect background using my distress inks. I simply added some ink to a piece of acetate spritzed it with water and placed it face down onto some watercolour. I repeated it until I got the background I wanted then added some black paint flicks. I also added a printed sentiment from the Brighter Days Black Sentiment Cards.

Don't forget you can get 10% off your next Time For Tea order using my code T4TKITTY10. Thank you for joining me today, I will be back next week. Don't forget to come back tomorrow for more inspiration from the DT.

You Are Awesome

Hello crafty friends, Kitty here with my usual Thursday afternoon post. I am still loving these cuties from the Up Up Away Set so I had to make another card with them! This time a slimline card...

For this card I used Time For Tea Up, Up & Away Stamp Set. I coloured all the images with copics and fussy cut them out. I created the background by die cutting the clouds from the Landscape Edge Dies and using it as a stencil. I also used the same die set to create the grass hills. I used blue and green distress oxides. I also added the layered sentiment using the You Are Awesome Sentiment Dies. I added some spots to the hot air balloon with a white pen. I added some Clear Drops to finish.

Thank you for stopping by today. I will be back next Thursday with another creation. Don't forget to pop by tomorrow for more inspiration from the team.

You Are Awesome Critter Card

Hello DT Vic here today and I'm sharing a very sweet critter card with you.

I love mixing up different Time For Tea Designs stamp sets and I thought it would be fun to add some colours to my card too. So for my card today I used the Be Slothy Stamp SetBeavering Away Stamp Set and the Bearing Gifts Stamp Set. I also used the You Are Awesome Sentiment Die for my greeting.

To start with I ink blended a plain piece of white card using purple, yellow and green distress inks and my Beautiful blending brushes. I then stamped some leaves and some dots.

Next I stamped and coloured my images using copic markers, using the coordinating dies I ran them through my die cutting machine.

I then die cut my You Are Awesome Sentiment Die using green and pink card. I adhered these together using PVA glue and then applied them to the middle of my card using foam tape. I then added all the critters around the edge of my card.

Once all the critters are adhered down your card is now complete. I loved how this turned out and it was so fun to use a sentiment die as my greeting.

Don't forget you can save 10% off your Time For Tea Designs Purchases using the code: T4TVICKI10 at the checkout. This includes the new release items too how amazing is that.
