Life Is Sweet!

Hi Tea Timers!

Design team member Michelle here and this week’s creation features two adorable skunks having a sweet moment under a beautiful cherry blossom tree.

Supplies used:

Stinkin Cute

Sweet Cart Critters

The scene is set in a lovely garden with a soft blue sky using Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide and a cloud stencil. I added a vibrant grassy ground, ink blended with my favourite combination of Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover Distress Oxides.

One little skunk is swaying on a swing hanging from a gorgeous pink tree that I shopped my stash for while their friend waves hello from the ground whilst holding a fresh flower (I used Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Vintage Photo and Ground Espresso for the ink blending). The pink tree adds such a dreamy, whimsical touch to the whole scene and for some extra charm, I added some hearts topped with glitter.

The sentiment "life is SWEET" is heat embossed onto bold red banner that really pops against the pink background and finally to try something different and to give the card some extra, "oomph" I added a white frame to pull the focus right into the center of the action.

This card perfect for Valentine’s Day, anniversaries or simply to brighten someone’s day.

Sending sweet crafty wishes your way!

Halloween Kitties

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here with a cute kitty Halloween card to share using the Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection and Haunted House (which is on sale right now!) Clear Stamp Set.

I created the background by spraying spiced marmalade and candied apple Distress Oxide spray onto watercolour cardstock and heat setting it. I used double-sided tape to stick it to a white card base.

Next, I used black glitter cardstock and die-cut the frame from Smile Inverted Scallop Frame Dies. I used double-sided tape to stick it to the card base.

For the grass area, I ink blended mowed lawn, rustic wilderness and black soot Distress Oxides using my Beautiful Blender Brushes. I added splatter with water, silvery green watercolour and a paintbrush.

I die-cut the grass with the Slimline Hillside Scene Dies and Smile Inverted Scallop Frame dies. This allowed me to use liquid and snap it into place along the base of the card.

I stamped the 'Happy Halloween' sentiment from the Haunted House clear stamp set, along with leaves, an acorn and a pine cone from Jumping With Joy and Stinkin' Cute. I printed the kitties and pumpkin from the Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection and cut out the images with my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e.

I coloured the images with Copic markers and added white gel pen accents. I stuck the images down to complete the card with either liquid glue or 1mm thick double-sided foam tape.

Spooky In Pink

Happy Friday! DT Annalisa here, sharing a cute ghost Halloween card that features the Too Cute To Spook sentiment dies and  Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection. I love the size of this sentiment die.

For my project, I used non-traditional colours and ink-blended spun sugar, kitsch flamingo and picked raspberry Distress Oxide inks over a piece of the Halloween 2022 Digital Paper Collection. I added black soot Distress Ink along the edges of the paper to darken it up. I trimmed the patterned paper to 4 1/8 inches by 5 3/4 inches and used double-sided tape to adhere it to a white card base.

I used the Smile Inverted Scallop Frame Dies and the Too Cute To Spook sentiment die to die-cut dark blue card stock. Once die-cut, I sprayed the die-cut blue cardstock with Distress Mica Stain in Shiny Bauble to add shimmer. I love the shimmer and shine you can see in the right light.

Next, I stamped and coloured (with Copics) the ghost Trick or Treaters Digital Stamp Collection. I added white gel pen accents with a Gelly Roll Pen. The leaves, acorn and pine cone are from Jumping With Joy and Stinkin’ Cute – these sets are great for all your fall cards. I used my Brother Scan N Cut SDX125e to cut the images out.

I adhered the images, sentiment and vellum outline to the card base using liquid glue or double-sided foam tape for dimension.

Awesome Friend

Hello fellow crafters! Today is my last post for Time For Tea Designs. I have had such fun being on the team and I can't believe it has already been a whole year, where has that time gone?! Here is my last card using some cuties...

For this card I used Stinkin' Cute Stamps. I coloured them with copics then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. I created the background using the Scene It Stencil along with some Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. I added a little Lucky Clover onto some green card it and die cut it using the Grass Die from the Slimline Hillside Scene Dies. I used the sentiments from the Bold Sentiments Stamp Set and cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. I assembled everything onto the card with foam pads. I finished by adding some clear drops.

Love You So Much

Hi, crafty friends, DT Kitty here. I went for a bright colourful card this week which I thought would be a bit different for Valentine's Day...

I started off by creating a simple blended background. I used Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Inks. I gently splattered the background with a little water and my paint brush then blotted it dry. I used the Stinkin' Cute Stamp Set for all the images. I stamped them, coloured them in and die cut them with the Stinkin' Cute Die Set. The balloons are from the Smitten Kitten Stamp Set. I used the Love You Lots Large Sentiment Die to create the large sentiment and added some white dots with a pen. The stamped sentiment is also from the Stinkin' Cute Stamp Set. To finish I added a few gems.

Thank  you for popping by today. Don't forget you can use my code T4TKITTY10 to get yourself 10% off your next order at Time For Tea Designs.

Video Tutorial Love Shaker Card

Hello DT Vic here today and I have a fun video tutorial I am sharing with you today.

I love making shaker cards as they are so fun to make and also to receive. In my video I will show you how I used the Love Intertwined Die to work on a shaker card. I will also take you through each step so you can hopefully follow along and create your own shaker card. I used the Stinkin' Cute Clear Stamp Set and the Happy Mail Critters Clear Stamp Set for my images on my card.

I watercoloured my images using Kuretake watercolour palette but I did go back over them as the first wash was a bit too light.

I think this card would be lovely to send to someone who just needs a little love and to show them that you are thinking of them, of course you can use it for Valentine's Day too.

I hope you enjoy the video. Don't forget you can save 10% off your orders using the code: T4TVICKI10 at the checkout including the brand new release goodies!

Have a lovely day!

Stinkin' Cute

  Hello!

Today I'm sharing another card I made using the adorable Stinkin' Cute stamps and dies partnered up with some older products too.

I created a background in three colours of distress ink and the used the Snow Flurry Cover die to create more interest - can't begin to tell you how much I love this look!

Next I used the Stripes Cover Plate die and placed it on top of the background. I really love how this die gives such a brilliant frame for placing stamps.

Finally I added in the adorable Stinkin' Cute images and Spring Blooms die cut flowers and leaves. The final finishing touch was adding the clear gem stones and tiny heart stamps.

I hope you like my card using the awesome products from T4TD. If you'd like to purchase any items you can get 10% off by using my code - T4TJANE10.

Too Stinkin’ Cute!

Happy Saturday Teatimer’s well that’s it Christmas cards are done and it’s the start of Valentine’s! The cute skunks are perfect for valentines and I combined them with some old favourites to make this sweet heart themed card.
The base is cut out using the Heart Slimline Add on Die inside the middle sized die from the Slimline Scalloped Trio Nesting Dies  which I stencilled on with Kitsch Flamingo and Dried Marigold and then added hearts using the Scattered Hearts Stencil with Picked Raspberry and Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide ink.
The skunks I'd coloured up a while ago it's so nice when time is short to have them there. I used a combination of warm greys for the fur and added some pink rosy cheeks and die cut them out with the coordinating dies.
For the sentiment I really wanted to use the Too cute to Spook Die I cut it out in black and white card stock and carefully cut off the to spook part and cut the too cute apart. This enabled me to add the stinkin' from the Stinkin Cute Stamp and Die Set which I heat embossed and cut out with the coordinating dies and stuck on top of the Too Cute.
I wanted some dimension when I stuck the base down so popped the stencilled panel onto some pink card using foam tape then adhered that to my card base leaving the white edge. The skunks and sentiment again were adhered using foam tape so stand out from the background. I love how it turned out I totally think I missed the opportunity to turn it into a shaker card though. I hope you like my card for today I'd love to see your versions if you recreate it so don't forget to add them to the fb group or share on insta. Also if you want to buy any of the products or anything else in the Time for Tea shop you can get 10% off using code T4TNATALIE10. Happy Crafting!

For this card I used the super cute Stinkin' Cute Stamp Set. I stamped then coloured all the images with my Copics. I cut them out using the coordinating Stinkin' Cute Dies. I created the background using my Distress Oxide Inks. I then used some white and black ink with a little water and flicked it onto the panel with a thin paint brush. I used the largest frame from the Smile Inverted Scallop Frame Dies to cut white card and added the frame over the top of my panel. I die cut black card using the Hugs Stitched Sentiment Die and popped everything in place with foam pads. I added a a printed sentiment from the Brighter Days Sentiment Cards and added some gems to finish.

Stinkin Cute

 Good afternoon Teatimers,

Happy New Year to you all, I hope 2022 brings you health and happiness.

I'm here today kicking off my card making with this sweet slimline card using the most super adorable little Skunks from the Stinkin Cute stamp and die set.

I absolutely fell in love with these little characters as soon as they were released and have been dying to get a card made using them however work, illness, christmas and all the jazz got in the way!🙄 so I was so pleased to finally find a few hours to myself yesterday to get creative.

To start as always I stamped and coloured my images using my Spectrum Noir markers (colours listed below in order of lightest to darkest)

Skunks - IG5, IG7, IG9
Log - TN5, TN7, TN9
Mushrooms - EB1, EB2,GB8
Leaves - LG2, LG3, DG3

To create my card I took 2 pieces of white card trimed roughly to the size of DL card blank and used distress inks in Mowed Lawn and Salty Ocean to create a background on each.  Using the Slimline Scene Builder Stencil to add the grass outline.

From 1 piece I used the smallest sizedie from the Scalloped Frame Dies and the inside die from the Trio Circle Nesting Die  to create my front piece.

I cut the trees from the Winter Trees Dies from white card and added them to the back of the apertures, before adding foam tape to the back of the panel. The 2nd panel was trimed to size to fit behind the Scalloped panel before being added to a DL card blank trimed to size.

I added the critters to the card and finally stamped the sentiment I  the top RH correct.

So Stinkin' Cute

Hello crafty friends, DT Kitty here. I hope you had a fabulous Christmas, I can't believe we are almost in 2022! For my card this week I've created a simple scene with some of the new skunks...

I started out by creating a gently blended background using my Mermaid Lagoon & Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Inks. I then added some splats of water with a paint brush. I mounted the panel onto a white card with foam. All the images are from the Stinkin' Cute Stamp Set which I stamped and coloured with my Copics. I added some white dots on the mushroom with a white pen. I used the coordinating Stinkin' Cute Dies to cut them out. I heat embossed the sentiments in white onto black card and die cut them with the dies. I arranged all the images onto my panel and attached them in place with glue and foam pads.

Stinkin' Cute

Hi friends! It's Miki here. I hope you've had a lovely Christmas! I came to my parents' house and I'm so glad we got to spend some quality time together! I'm slowly trying to get my brain out of the Christmas mood so today I have a Valentine's themed card to share with you.

To start with, I focused on my background. I ink blended some Dried Marigold Distress Oxide roughly where I thought my critter would go. Then I took it to my splatter box and added some splatters in Wild Honey and Carved Pumpkin, trying to keep them focused where the ink blending is.

Next, I focused on my images. I used the Stinkin' Cute Stamp & Die Set and stamped the cute Sconx hiding behind the log, the mushroom, acorn and two of the leaves. I colored them in using my Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers and used the matching dies to cut them. I then added some white highlights to my images. Before adding them to my card panel I first stamped the sentiment from the Woodland Critters in Memento Espresso Truffle. Then, I added my images using foam tape for added dimension.

I then used the Wide Stitched Frame Die Set and die cut the largest one from craft card stock. I glued it on my card panel and finally added some gems. I glued the card front on a matching card base and that was it!

I hope you like today's card and if you shop on the T4TD website, please remember to use my code T4TMIKI10 for 10% off your whole order.

Crafty Hugs,
Miki

Stinkin' hugs!

Hello, Tea Timers!
It is Natalia with you here today. How are you liking the new Time for Tea release? I know I am biased but I can't get enough of the cute critters! These skunks from the Stinkin' Cute set are so sweet!

I really enjoyed colouring them with my Ohuhu alcohol ink markers, and then adding some highlights with a white gel pen.

For my background, I did some dry embossing with the new Houndstooth stencil. As you know, I love a lot of white space on a card, so doing some dry embossing is a great way of adding some dimension of interest while still preserving that white space.

I die cut the hill from craft cardstock with the die from the Slimline Hillside Scene set. This is my go to set for scenes, no doubt! I don't often use craft card but this time I thought it was nice with the autumn colours. I did do a bit of ink blending on the top of the hill with Hero Arts unicorn white ink. It is subtle, but it makes a difference, I think!

For the sentiment, I used the Hugs Stitched Sentiment die. I die cut it three times from white cardstock and then once more from shinny white cardstock which I made with Halo WOW! embossing powder.

And finally, I used a newly acquired frame die from the Zig Zag Frame & tag dies set. I will certainly use this often because I absolutely love how it finishes off a card!

I will post a reel on my IG account this week, so look out for it if you want to see the process! I also really changed my mind after the reel so the card there looks a tad different.

Jumping With Joy

Hello crafty friends, Kitty here with my latest creation. This one features a sweet autuminal scene featuring some of the brand new release products...

I started off by creating the background. I blended Dried Marigold and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Inks together onto a piece of white slimline card. I then blended some Bundled Sage Distress Oxide onto a strip of card and die cut it using the Grass Die from the Slimline Hillside Scene Dies. I used the new Winter Trees Die and cut out four trees from kraft card then added them to each end. I used the Jumping With Joy & Stinkin' Cute Stamp Sets so I could add extra characters from each set. I coloured them all with Copics and cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. I stamped and die cut the sentiment too then added all my pieces onto the card with foam pads.

Always here for you

Hello Tea Timers! Silvia's here and I'm so excited to share with you my first project featuring the super cute new release!

For today's card I decided to play with "Stinkin' Cute" stamp set. So I stamped images from there, I colored them with alcohol markers and I cut them with coordinating dies.

I then die cut a white cardstock stripe with the smallest die from the "Slimline Scallop Nesting" die set and I ink blended it with salvaged patina, prize ribbon and a soft touch of villainous potion Distress Oxide inks, I splattered with clean water, tone on tone ink and picket fence and antique bronze Distress paint.

I also die cut a grassy border with "Slimline Hillside Scene" die set and I ink blended it with shabby shutters and bundle sage Distress Oxide inks and I splattered it as above.

I chose a sentiment from the "Brighter Days Sentiment Card" (mine is the grey version), I put everything together using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape and I used one of the beautiful papers from the "Brighter Days" paper pad as card base.

That's all for this time. Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you'll enjoy the card.

I wish you an amazing day! Big hugs, Silvia.
